Coronada Inn & Suites

The room was very outdated. The couches and carpet were stained. Just overall felt dirty. The pool was ice cold and the hot tub was really small and closed by the health department. We ended up switching hotels half way through our trip and lost money.

Good for 1-2 nights if needed. Rooms were musty. Pool was freezing and dark. Hot tub was full of sand and small. Breakfast was toast, oatmeal, waffles, orange juice, apple juice, and coffee.

Let's be real....when you book a cheap hotel, you dont really expect much. When I first opened my door, I was shocked at how much space there was! There was a small living area, and a bedroom. The mini fridge was cold, the AC unit worked great, the water was HOT, and the linens were all clean and neat. The only "cleanliness" peoblwm I en ountered was I noticed thw soles of my socks turned black pretty quick.... but they washed up easily enough. The pool and hot tub had way too much chlorine, but like O said...the shower was hot, and the pool and hot tub were both comfortable temps. It's not the "nicest" place in St George, but it was perfect for what I needed. I'd stay again in a heartbeat

Do not stay at this hotel. Shower water supply hooked up backwards. To get hot water you had to use the cold. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and wore out. The staff didnt seem to care about our concerns. On top of them not being very able to speak english. The worse part was that the kids got chemical burns from the over chlorine in the hot tub and pool.

I picked this hotel because it supposedly had a pool and Jacuzzi. The whole hotel was rundown and old. The pool went from 3' to 5', but even at the 3' area, you couldn't see the bottom of the pool. There was algae and bugs in the pool and after the 3 day there were little bubbles on the top of the water all across the pool and it looked like the pool was effervescent. The refrigerator and microwave were old and broken down. The extra doorlock was barely holding on by the loose screws. The continental breakfast had instant oatmeal, dry cereal w/milk available, orange juice and apple, and sliced bread.

We stayed it the “condo” and it was big and spacious very dated looked wise but for what we were there for it was great. The kids liked the pool but even though it was indoors it wasn’t heated and the pool area only had one bench to sit on and again it was dated but still fun

The room was decent, not extremely clean, my two year old daughter found some junk left from a previous person, and could stand newer furniture but that was about it. Beds were nice and sleepable. The indoor pool/hot tub was definitely nice.

This place is super no frills. No table to go with the chair and couch. The hot tub and pool area are in need of a serious remodel. I wouldn’t even consider those as an option. I should’ve paid $10 more for a better place.

It's close to lots of food places on a main street in St. George. It is one of the cheaper hotels in the city, but probably for a reason. The pool is freezing cold (at least in the spring) but does have a hot tub. The room had a full fridge and kitchen area which is nice and it was clean but had a body order smell that seemed to be coming from everywhere. We bought some plug in air fresheners and that solved most of the problem. It worked for our purposes but we were definitely not going to spend large amounts of time at the hotel.

Old, outdated, run down. Felt unsafe. Pool water was cold. Hot tub has dirt in the bottom. Inside of room was fairly clean but everything is old and worn down

I'm not sure this deserves a one star. The room was not at all clean. There has been no maintenance for a long time, and furniture and appliances have not been upgraded probably since the 70s. The couch had holes in the upholstery, along with multiple stains of some kind. the microwave was so old it had turned yellow and had no plate. The TV did not work. The fridge was pre-frost free and had ice buildup in the freezer. The mattress had springs that squeaked. There were actually old used q-tips in the kitchen corners. The pool also needs cleaning.

Horrible cleanliness of the room, floors were filthy along with old dirty couches and dead roaches on the floor… this place needs a major overhaul. I’ve stayed and some poorly maintained motels but this place takes the cake by far….

This place was nasty..I didnt expext much for the prive i paid. When i entered the room, it had a funky smell. So i ran the a/c all night. The kitchen was filthy. I figured one night and th Ill be out. But in the morning tjere were 2 roaches in the bathroom It took over an hour to get a refund thru expedia. I had to talk to a superviser and still had to lean on him pretty hard to get my way. The customer servise number is hidden in the web site pretty good. Just google it.other wise my trip to southern Utah was incredible

Once i opened the door i was shocked it was all dirty. Sheets floor everything. Do not stay here!

It was nice! The room was clean and nice!

Very dirty room. I expected a kitchen but it was far from that. A microwave and mid size fridge with a dining area. No sink or stove which completely defeated my purpose of renting a room with a kitchen. Dead roach in bathroom, carpet tearing up, nightstand has dried brown liquid dripping down the sides, and this is just to name a few.

Very sweet staff, but old, dirty conditions, crumbs in made bed when we got into them...

Room smelled bad. Not the cleanest. Shower and sink both had hair and dust Floor was sticky. Door frame was damaged on the inside.

The good: We received a full refund when we explained our concerns. The bad: The room was very dirty, the mattress and most of the rest of the furniture had stains, tiles in the pool were stained and some broken and even gone.

Old dirty furniture . Thin blankets small too few towels , sink had debris and standing water Black mold on shower curtain and cabinets.

Frustrated that we chose this place because the listing said the 2-bedroom condo had 1 king and 2 queens, but it’s 3 DOUBLES. We have a miserable night ahead of us squeezed into these beds with one person opting to sleep on the couch instead. Such a MASSIVE rip off for the price we paid to not have the larger beds. Carpet and floors feel sticky, everything is ancient. Door lock doesn’t turn to deadbolt, though it is locked on the outside thankfully. If this wasn’t a quick overnight with little time needed in the room, I’d be in the office raising holy heck, but as it is, I’m just resigned. Biggest fear is we’ll come home with bedbugs or scabies…it’s gross enough that’s a real possibility. And we’re totally cheap motel people, we’ve got some wow stories, so it’s not like I’m comparing this to fancy places.

Mattress needs to be replaced it is very uncomfortable. Otherwise room is good.

You get exactly what you pay for here. Great price for 2 bedrooms, but 1 tiny bathroom. However, GREAT central location! One warning to fellow parents: indoor pool DOES NOT mean heated in anyway. Way too cold to swim for Spring Break

Low end motel, no frills, make sure you bring a pillow because the six in the room were very old. The beds were very basic spring mattresses that were not comfortable.

The place was a two room suite. I stayed two nights. No A/C in the front room/kitchen. Very small A/C in the back bedroom which was extremely noisy and took 8 hours just to cool the bedroom down. Horrible mattress and extremely old furnishings. The WiFi was so slow I just used my cell service instead. And lastly it took five minutes of running the shower to get the hot water there.

High recommend- Very accommodating. Got us an early check in so my husband could rest his injured back. We loved the layout of the room especially a separate room so when i got up early my husband could sleep on. Noon so great: All the property needs an update and our no smoking room smelled strongly of old smoke.

The air conditioning in my room did not work. It was over 90 degrees. I left after 6 hours trying to cool off my room . The management offered no apologies or alternative room nor solution.

Located on a busy street but easy to find and more than adequate parking. Lots of food choices near by. We went to the Ocean Buffet about 2 blocks away and it was excellent. Would recommend this place and would stay here again. Price was very reasonable.

Ac didn't work super hot rooms

The check in process was easy. The room was spacious. This is an older facility being kept up as good as possible.We were overlooking the pool and spa area. It is indoors. It looked clean. The hot water was amazing and the water pressure was superior. The in wall A/C was held at 70 degrees to not overwork and freeze the units. The Weather wasn't that hot so no issue there.

We are driving through from CA to CO. We thought we would be able to grab something in Vegas but the cheapest place to stay in Vegas was $750/night. Forgetting we pass timezones we pulled into St. George at 2:30am instead of the 1:30 I was thinking. The lady at the desk was so nice with us coming in so late.

Plenty of eateries in the surrounding area. The bedding did not appear to be fresh but was comfortable. The dead bolt on the door did not work. I arrived 2 hours early for check-in. The hostess allowed me to use the indoor pool till check-in time. This was very nice of her as the outside temp was 100 deg. Thank you.

I arrived early and I was exhausted and hot the owner tried to tell me that they had no cleaning rooms available but if I want to do on the second floor she had one or two but I'd have to pay 20 more than my initial 68.00 I ddeclihe offer and waited in my car by the two vacant clean rooms on the main floor. I got a call at 130 that my room was ready. I went in and was so mortified I could not stay there I left. Of course she would not give me my money back for one thing my room adjoined to another one but did not lock some obnoxious man came running up to me right as I'm entering and he's blowing a cigarette in my face and the owner as I walked out the front door after checking in she screams at me no smoking I don't smoke! So the room was dirty old and I don't know how many people had a key to that room but the adjoining thing with no deadbolt really freaked me out there's no way I was going to stay there so of course they wouldn't give me my money back they're greedy like that watch out for these people and this place is disgusting I went to the ice machine and it was filthy everywhere around there I think you would likely catch some sort of a bacterial infection if you swam in the pool. Then I missed a call today from the motel. I didn't answer the phone why in the hell would they want me for anything I've never been treated so badly in my whole life

Good front desk people and quite relaxing stay

Couldn’t get into our room with the key. They gave us three different keys-none worked. They had the maintenance man fix the door so that we could get out more easily but never could get in reliably-one out of ten tries would work. I felt it was a safety issue and wanted a refund for the two nights we had left so we could get out of the situation. They offered a different room but at that point, wanted nothing to do with the place or the owner, so we left and they kept our money.

I was frustrated when rates changed from what Expedia posted. Paid additional fees for my reservation, or i wouldnt get in. Made this reservation for my son, hoping to be frugal with my expenses. Honestly thought a discount or free night was in order. NOT a budget friendly hotel when you add it all up. Friendly staff, unfriendly rates.

The tenants were saying they had shootings there on the weekends which made me feel unsafe

Easy access from freeway. Great area around restaurants and going into the city. Excellent price for one night. Friendly service. Lots of great parking. Older hotel. Some minor things not clean. If you’re looking for a decent hotel close to everything, and are on a budget, then this hotel is for you. 4 Stars. Excellent service, great room size, close to freeway and stores. A little noisy at night from upstairs and on the side of my room. I liked the room, but my husband and daughter did not. Thank you for a nice stay.

It's convenient and easy to find.

The property, rooms and parking were very dirty. My children and I did not feel safe.

Older facility, motor lodge from back in the day so parking was not roomy.Staff were friendly and our room showed the cleaning staff work hard to keep it clean. Older furnishings. My wife has huge issues with dander, mold and chemical residue (cleaning/perfumes). She did not have a reaction ... so that is high praise. The kitchenette with full fridge was excellent.

I liked the location

This was a great place! Great price, clean and comfy, friendly staff, great location, kitchen (no cookware or utensils - but we didn't expect a kitchen anyway and we did use it). We would definitely stay again and recommend it. The pool was closed but the hot tub was open, breakfast was fine. It's not a $$$ Marriott, we didn't expect it to be and were very surprised that we loved staying here so much!

Sticky tile, smell in room, no hangers, out dated, remote control batteries held in with rubberbands, nasty worn out carpet. TV in bed room kept messing up. Was put 75% of the time. No heat in part of the room..it was in the 30s. Toilet rocked, no wash cloths. Fridge & microwave were filthy. Free breakfast was advertised 7-9. At 7:15 nothing. Then when it was set up, it was unsanitarry. Coffee was cold & no ice to be found. ONE star ONLY because of the size of the room.

This property was run down, old mattresses lying around, people fixing their cars, no continental breakfast as indicated. Wont ever go back there again

This was a dirty old place. The breakfast was a waffle maker and and milk. The entire time we were getting breakfast a creepy old guy kept staring at us. The pool is not heated. The fridge is from the 70s and didn’t work the stove was just as old. There was a smell

It was a good trip and the hotel was good my only thing is, I'd rather of had a end table on each side of the bed , and the breakfast could of used a little more choices then waffles and cereal.

the tv did not work, no blow dryer, the breakfast was hardly a breakfast and the equipment was not working. it looked like you had long term guest and sketchy individuals hanging out in the lobby

It was so disgusting. There was a horrible cigarette smell even though it was a no smoking room. The couch looked like it had been sitting outside on the corner with a free sign on it for months. It was extremely dirty and torn up. We wanted a kitchenette so we could make our own food. There were zero items in the kitchen for cooking anything. No plates, pots, pans, utensils…nothing. The fridge had been turned to the off position which means it was warm. We turned it up and then it still wasn’t cold enough. We also couldn’t put anything in there that we had purchased because it would have gone bad. Every time we turned on the A/C it would pull cigarette smoke in from neighboring visitors. The breakfast was a joke. They only had waffles and cold cereal and it was a mess. Garbage everywhere, they ran out of milk, and there was a creepy guy who was employed there that just kept staring at people. I am appalled that they can charge that much for such poor accommodations.

I was desperate to book a hotel because the first one only gave me one bed. So we searched quickly and dint read other reviews. The front desk was very friendly and kind in checking us in but when asking for another towel I felt like they were resistant to give us one. The area felt shady and some of the rooms were rented to tenants. The breakfast included was one waffle iron and literal boxes of cereal options. The pool was freezing? The hot tub jets once turned on would not go off and they sprayed everywhere. There were no pool towels. The room was dirty. Our shoes stuck to the tile floors. The beds had a sheet and a cover but not a blanket…so we had to buy blankets. We had housekeeping stop by while we were there and we asked for new towels but they didn’t understand English and came in and cleaned while we were there. Which is ok, but they didn’t vacuum the floor, they used a make shift mop, a towel in a broom to sweep the carpeted area and even the tile. Now I know why the tile was sticky. We went and bought cleaner at the store and cleaned our room ourselves. We didn’t eat the free breakfast or have housekeeping visit after day 1. I guess I am just grateful we didn’t have to sleep in our car.
