Comfort Suites St George - University Area

There 4 nights and the hot tub was out of order the entire time. Very disappointed with that. Otherwise nice place to stay.

Liked pool jacuzzi. Breakfast, exercise room, location near the University

Breakfast menu was good, but no variety in the menu over 3 days. Pool was cold. Hot tub was great.

It was just ok. Hair Dryer in room did not work,called front desk and was told all the hair dryers were in other rooms, well ok thanks! Also jacuzzi was not working. Bath towels felt like sand paper :( Breakfast could be better. Staff was polite . You absolutely get what you paid for $168.00 a night probably could have been better?? Won't stay here again thank goodness it was for 1 night only!

The room was clean. The hot tub was broken and the pool was very small. There were smells right when you walked in that weren’t great.

It was a hotel with a heated pool the kids enjoyed it

Overall this hotel was great! The person at the front desk was very helpful! The rooms were clean and very spacious. There pool was a little cold and small but great for those hot summer days. There is breakfast everyday that includes sausage, scrambled eggs, yogurt, muffins, cereal, make your own waffles, etc. The only downfall is other than sausage, eggs and yogurt they had zero options for those who are gluten free. Being someone who is allergic to eggs and can’t have anything with milk or gluten in it either, really made eating breakfast difficult. Luckily I brought protein shakes to drink which helped. So very disappointed with the breakfast options for those with food allergies but my family loved their breakfast!

Loved our stay here. Very convenient location. 2min drive to the university and many restaurants. Great pool and hot tub.

The beds and pillows were comfortable but there were dirty shoe prints all over the wall. It made the whole room look and feel dirty.

The room I booked was absolutely not cleaned (bodily fluids in certain places). When asked to change rooms, the new room I was placed in was also absolutely not cleaned (a different kind of bodily fluids). Requested a full refund and went to a different hotel. I guess that's a good thing, they very promptly issued the full refund.

This was the second time we stayed for the trip and this time the room was not clean. There were items that belonged to previous guests, like trash and a bobby pin. The shower curtain had what looked like blood stains. It was pretty uncomfortable.

The bathroom shower was dirty, had mold around the edges at the bottom of the shower door and glass., and the shower doors were very dirty.. The room was nice but the carpet needs cleaning. Walked from the bed to the bathroom and my white socks were dirty.

Overall the property was nice. Room was good sized and had a lot of power plugs and lights. You can tell it was a pretty decent hotel but has not been kept up well. The elevator was dirty and the room wasn’t very clean. TV remote control was crusted with food and there were a lot of dirty and grime making some of the white paint nasty. Hair in on bathroom floor and the toilet really didn't get a cleaning before we arrived. Overall a nice place, breakfast was minimal but the staff were pleasant. If they improved the cleaning the hotel would be pretty good all the way around.

The room did not seem very clean. It had an empty shampoo bottle an empty lotion bottle and an empty Kleenex box. It had a piece of toilet paper stuffed in the privacy hole of the door, as if it hadn’t been cleaned or looked at for a while. I can’t imagine cleaners, or any representative of the hotel leaving that if they were looking after the room. Even though we knew we wouldn’t be able to get a refund, we left a day early to avoid having to stay there another night.

The stay was really not that bad until I found roaches in my bathroom my toilet ran constantly the two days I was there and for some reason I was putting next to the elevator so I heard the elevator running all night besides that the state wasn’t that bad. The breakfast was good, but once again with the insect problem, it made me uneasy to eat.

The check in- check out experience were good. We were only staying overnight so we were hardly in the room except to shower and sleep. Everything was stocked and seemed fine at first. But the room itself was filthy. Stain on the curtains, dirty walls, hair and crumbs on the couches.

We had a dead roach in our room and nothing was done.

Hotel was nice and clean however the rooms that connect are not sound proof at all and you can hear everything like conversations, the TV, bathroom noises. Try and book a non-connected room.

Internet was slow. Stay was overall great

The only problem we had was that the toilet handle was broken. We had to reattach the chain to the arm that is attached to the handle for flushing several times. Because we were having only there for one night, we didn’t request maintenance. Room 321.

Great stay. Enjoyed the larger than standard rooms. Everything was clean and staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed comfort inn last 5 yrs every October but we will not stay anymore. People above us were very noisy we couldn’t sleep 2 nights. That happened the last two yrs too and we requested upper floor but didn’t happen.

Exceptional stay. Great location. Friendly staff. Everything from the lobby to the room was very clean, modern and comfortable. We had plenty of pretty nice towels (as far as hotels go). Shampoo, conditioner and lotion pumps, instead of those baby shampoos. No problems with the tv or wifi. We had a little seating area in our room which was extremely wonderful to have. The hot breakfast is another reason we love this location. Amazing selection of foods, so no one can say there's something they didn't like or were allergic to. Basically, we loved every minute of the hotel experience. Visiting the family? Not as good as the hotel, but still lovely to see everyone.

The hotel is nice and clean. We were less impressed by the concierge who kept talking on the phone for good ten minutes as we stood with our bags and waited to be checked in. No acknowledgement by a “one minute” or even a nod. Checking in process took less than three minutes, no apology for making us wait or a welcome. Please provide additional training to your staff

The room was clean and big. However, I went to St. George for a medical procedure, so I needed to check out a little later the next day. I made my booking through Expedia and asked them to arrange for a late checkout. They agreed, talked with the hotel about it, and told me to give them a call as well. I called the hotel, I explained that I had a medical procedure and that my flight was late, so I wanted to stay until 5 PM the following day. When I checked in and informed the front desk that I would be checking out at 5 PM, and they agreed to this arrangement. After my procedure, I returned to my room. The next day, I was in pain and still feeling the effects of the anesthesia. Around 11 AM, housekeeping started knocking on my door, asking me to leave. I could barely walk but managed to answer the door and reminded them that I had already spoken with the front desk and they knew I was checking out at 5 PM. I also had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door. I repeated myself to the housekeeping staff three times, but they still continued to knock every five minutes. I called the front desk to reiterate that I was staying until 5 PM and mentioned my previous conversations. The person on the phone asked who I had talked to and insisted that I should pay for the late checkout. I said that I was willing to cover the extra charge and that’s why I provided my card information yesterday. Despite this, I continued to have staff knocking at my door This experience was incredibly frustratin

The front desk duty manager was super nice and the check in was smooth and pleasant.

Overall accommodations were great - staff at check-in, not so much. Unwelcoming, disinterested and cold. Certainly not what i was expecting from any hotel front desk. Disappointing to say the least.

Terrible Customer Service – Completely Lacking Empathy I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Due to a flight delay, my family and I arrived at 7 AM the day after our original reservation. I was traveling with my wife and our 6-year-old daughter, and all we wanted was to use the room briefly to freshen up and have breakfast before moving on. However, the receptionist informed us that our reservation had been marked as a “no-show” and refused to offer any assistance. They showed no empathy, no willingness to accommodate, and absolutely no understanding of our situation. The rigid approach, lack of compassion, and unwillingness to consider the needs of a weary family were incredibly frustrating. Hotels should strive to provide customer service that recognizes the challenges travelers face. This hotel, unfortunately, failed in every aspect. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a place that values its guests.

Lance was super helpful and nice, room was clean, perfect for our night.

No one at the front desk when we tried to check in. Had to wait for someone to show up. Crumbs and stain on couch, stain on floors and curtains.

Quiet centrally located with easy access to dining, shopping, and local attractions.

A little noisy at night being near freeway and main road through town. Very clean and in good condition. Pleasant staff. Hot breakfast was adequate, but I would have preferred orange juice (only juice available was apple - I understand that orange juice is at a premium right now) and I always like oatmeal (which was not available). Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cold cereals, bread, muffins, fruit was available.

Rooms were fine! But breakfast was not good. The oranges tasted old, eggs staled and overall not agreeable

Breakfast was the same thing every day. Staff was not present to replenish things then they were empty. No trashes were emptied. No one was cleaning tables.

Arrived at 8:30 am for the breakfast, no more food. Nobody came for 45 mins. Gave up.

Hotel was clean and we had a very comfortable king bed suite. The only complaint was the breakfast. So many reviews raved about the breakfast but it was the worst we have had in awhile. Link sausage had hard bits in it and powdered eggs. Waffle station but I don’t eat that. Super limited selection.

Big rooms, CLEAN, friendly, GREAT BREAKFAST!

The identical breakfast options four consecutive mornings was already tiresome by the third day. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Our first night in Utah. Comfortable rooms-good breakfast.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to freeway and restaurants. Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious. My negative would be the breakfast was the exact same everyday. It would have been nice to have more of a variety. Maybe omelettes, biscuits and gravy, French toast instead of over cooked scrambled eggs and potatoes.
