I did t have a good review for this place. We had to move to another room due to the non smoking room being very smokey smelling which aggravated my migraine. I had reserved on hotels.com a king and queen size beds and got 2 double size beds even in the smokey room. There see to be some folks starying or temporarily living there that were smoking pot outside. The olace offers free wifi but it wasnt very good. Couldnt do much online in any device. I dont think i would stay there again and dont recommend anyone staying here at the Sumter,Sc location.

The first room reeked of smoke, even though I was told it was a non smoking room. Th second room needed some care. The refrigerator handle was broken off , the dishwasher had stale standing water, no hangers in closet and no iron. No ice bucket, no telephone and no smoke detector and the hot water ran out after a 5 minute shower. One morning it would not get hot at all until the office person went to reset the water heater or whatever she did. We bought disinfectant spray to sanitize everything because we did not trust their cleaning. I would have happily went to another place if this one had not already been paid for. There was no breakfast, or coffee . I will never stay there again nor would I recommend anyone else staying there. I have pictures. I rate it one star if any.

Bed wasn't made, dirty gross window, whole room stunk, couch had stains, didn't even want to look in the bathroom. We didn't stay because it was so horrible and we could still smell it hours after leaving.

The property reeked of pot smoke. Work boots laying outside the door next door, the linens were on the ground outside. Hair in the bathtub, lampshade missing. Requested refund and moved to a different hotel. The staff person was very nice and helpful

I like the fact that is close to a lot of my favorite restaurants... I don't like the fact that they have bugs, roaches and a smell funny.. The sheets always got stains in them as well as the washcloths ,hand towels, towels and the pillow case....also the toilet is for preschoolers is so close to the floor it's not built for big people..

This hotel is very nasty. The reception area is mucky with all sorts of debris, the room is full of bugs (roaches) the bathtub is greasy with dirt, and the bed frame is worn and dilapidated. For me to spend the evening, I had to borrow a broom and a dustpan and clean the room myself. After I could not tolerate it anymore. I had to vacate the hotel and request a refund.

I actually arrived at the property, stayed 15 minutes and left. It was filthy, cigarette butts, coke bottles on the floor, smelled of marijuana, no remote, phone did not work, and the front desk did not even ask for a card from me. It was probably the worst place I have ever seen. I took pictures. When I went to the “front desk“ I told her I am not staying in that room. She actually replied “ I didn’t think so. I didn’t charge your card… just hand me your room key and contact the company that you made the reservation with to get your money back“. I think that pretty much says it all. Maybe I’m naïve but I thought $80-$100 a night would give me a decent place but I was wrong. Very wrong.

The property was run down. Not sure the room was clean? Odd smell which got worse if the thermostat was above 66 degrees. Bed was comfortable. Towels had hair on them. Continental breakfast was fine. It does have a sign out for monthly rates so that may have something to do with the lack of cleaning?

The best thing about the hotel was the grandmother at the front desk who was very accommodating. The bed was made incorrectly with the top sheet over the duvet, and both were stained with an unknown yellow substance. The other decent thing was the room had a full-size fridge, stove, plenty of storage. The was no daily maid service as well. It reminded me of roughing it in the old WWII barracks at Stewart.

The best thing about the hotel was the grandmother at the front desk who was very accommodating. If i could rate this place a negative 10, I defintely would. The staff is terriible, hateful, and high as kites. It smells like marijuana EVERYWHERE. Even the doors on the rooms are covered in filth. My family and I booked 2 rooms but after arriving and seeing how unsafe and disgusting it was, we decided to find somewhere else to stay. The lady at the desk claimed she hadn't run our cards yet and would allow it to be canceled. Here we are a week later, and they are trying to keep our money and we didn't even stay there. So not only is the place absolutely disgusting but the workers are dishonest and greedy. I never even got into my room because the keys they gave me wouldn't work. My parents got into their room and it reeked of weed and was nasty. The entire atmosphere is VERY sketchy. I have a 9 year old daughter, there's NO way we were staying at that place with her with us. Everyone should avoid this place at all costs. It really should be investigated by the police and shut down.

I showed up after a delayed flight about 9pm and my double rooms were given away to people helping to renovate. The front desk clerk called owner who did not apologize for inconvenience. I’m glad the rooms were given away because the place was disgusting bug infested trash. The lobby area tells a little about the hotel and that was awful. So in the end I’m grateful the rooms were given away I got money back but getting another hotel on the weekend without notice sucked.

The best thing about the hotel was the grandmother at the front desk who was very accommodating. The bed was made incorrectly with the top sheet over the duvet, and both were stained with an unknown yellow substance. The other decent thing was the room had a full-size fridge, stove, plenty of storage. The was no daily maid service as well. It reminded me of roughing it in the old WWII barracks at Stewart.

I like the fact that is close to a lot of my favorite restaurants... I don't like the fact that they have bugs, roaches and a smell funny.. The sheets always got stains in them as well as the washcloths ,hand towels, towels and the pillow case....also the toilet is for preschoolers is so close to the floor it's not built for big people..

The first room reeked of smoke, even though I was told it was a non smoking room. Th second room needed some care. The refrigerator handle was broken off , the dishwasher had stale standing water, no hangers in closet and no iron. No ice bucket, no telephone and no smoke detector and the hot water ran out after a 5 minute shower. One morning it would not get hot at all until the office person went to reset the water heater or whatever she did. We bought disinfectant spray to sanitize everything because we did not trust their cleaning. I would have happily went to another place if this one had not already been paid for. There was no breakfast, or coffee . I will never stay there again nor would I recommend anyone else staying there. I have pictures. I rate it one star if any.

The property was run down. Not sure the room was clean? Odd smell which got worse if the thermostat was above 66 degrees. Bed was comfortable. Towels had hair on them. Continental breakfast was fine. It does have a sign out for monthly rates so that may have something to do with the lack of cleaning?

The moment I arrived, I was put off. The main office is kept locked and you have to go through a side door with a glass partition to check in. Not a good omen. The agent on-site recommended me to preview a couple rooms to decide whether I even wanted to stay there before she checked me in. She was very nice and honest, which I really appreciated. I chose to stay at the room closest to the office, for safety. The usual "clientele" leaves one feeling very uneasy and was warned to lock and remain in the room after dark. There is no pool, apparently it was torn out a few years ago and I was told the owner is aware the listing still shows them as having one. We were not able to take our shoes off, as the floor was sticky and grungy feeling and when we showered (with a hole punched into the shower wall) our feet were filthy. Fortunately, the beds themselves were clean and comfortable. If you're brave, it wasnt completely horrible but I would NOT recommend for families or single women to stay there.

I had booked a room with two beds non-smoking. We got there and the lady had run an errand. We waited 30 to 40 minutes for her to come back. There were signs everywhere like an episode of Hotel Impossible. The parking lot was madness of people smoking dope and being loud. She finally came back and checked us in. We went to our room it was full of smoke and only 1 bed. The lady was nice enough to wake up the owner and get us a refund. We then wandered the city like Mary and Joseph looking for room at the inn.
