This was way overpriced. Hotel is over a mile from downtown area and the advertised shuttle didn’t show up when it was supposed to a single time. We waited 20 minutes past the scheduled time and ended up walking or taking a cab. The hotel itself just looks old and sad. We did use the hot tub and pool area which was ok but also needs an update. The casino/bar area is dark and depressing. We paid $170 with taxes and it was worth about $110.

Overall a nice hotel Casino hours were odd, online states 24 hours a day, but they were avtually around 3pm - midnight. Would have liked to spend a few AM hours there. Breakfast was appreciated and overall good, nice variety. Our bathroom celing needed to be cleaned and repainted. Our bed comforter also needed to be replaced, the bottom seams were totally ripped. Just for reference, because i know it matters to some- room cleaning is completed on request by 11 am. Unless a longer stay. This is posted in the bathroom mirror. For kids it does have a fun looking arcade with prizes for tickets and a mini golf are, which we didn't use. They also have washers and dryers (didn't use), In room microwave and a good size refrigerator/freezer. Our room did not have a safe. The trolly to Deadwoods Main street has a stop right out front and its $2.00 pp.

Staff was very helpfull when we had questions. Lots of parking onsite available. 20 minute walk to Main street. Took trolly home end of night. Trolly was still on summer hours. Hot breakfast. Room was clean. Enjoyed pool and hot tub. Mini put was fun. Will return

Stay was good, staff was friendly and helpful. Hot tub was far from hot, but the jets worked ... pool was a but small, but functioned well and rhe jids still wore out their extra energy.

Toilet didn't work and had to have maintenance come twice to fix it. Hot tub and pool were both broken so couldn't use them. Coffee in the lobby wasn't set right so didn't taste good. Breakfast was good and staff were nice.

When we arrived the lobby had a sour smell which puts you off immediately. The checkin desk had a security fence that made you feel unsafe. The pool was green and cloudy. The room was clean. The breakfast was not stocked and was missing many items.

After a bad experience at another hotel, we were lucky enough to get the last room here at the Comfort Inn. The front desk was very friendly. All the staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean love to the bar and loved the casino. loved that the trolley took us downtown. Will definitely stay here again.

After reading so many positive reviews, I expected much better from this place. The staff was nice but the hotel, rooms and facilities are very run down. Our room had a very weird odor you couldn’t escape and the AC unit was dirty and grimy. My husband had to reattach it bc it was falling off the wall. The windows were dirty and added to the overall depressing vibe of our room. It seems like this place has seen better days and now it’s rundown and depressing. It was fine but I think we would’ve been happier somewhere else. Breakfast was good and the guy running it was super nice and hardworking. There’s a pretty good arcade and a cute mini golf place attached. It’s fine if you have low expectations and like weird smells in your room.

We stayed here 4 nights. Our experience was mostly good hence the 4 stars. We did have to get more towels, tp and take some trash out ourselves after a request for housekeeping was either forgotten about or they just didn’t have the staff to do it. Mold around the bathtub drain easily scraped off, yuck. Otherwise, the room was a nice size, bed comfy, friendly staff, decent breakfast and fun amenities. We would stay here again.

The Hotel was dimly lit for lighting. The front sliding door was struggling to open from time to time. The arcade was poorly kept up. The kings suite was decent size, yet lacked a mountain view as described. The room was decently clean, but old and tired. Breakfast was basic and a lot of premade store items. Staff seemed to be lacking in existence. Lights are turned off in many areas that lacked traffic, making it more univiting to provide that traffic. Its not terrible, but its not amazing either. If your there just to sleep and than spend your day sight seeing, its an option. But I certainly dont feel it was worth the price it cost.

Check in was easy, but they had no luggage carts available. Arcade games closed at 10pm:( Area outside looked very unappealing, there was a sketchy guy hanging in the parking area smoking cigarettes. The room was clean and sufficient enough to spend the night, but very dated with limited amenities and old appliances. AC was noisy. Overall it was fine, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was very quiet and comfortable. We stayed in one of the suites which gave us extra room to spread out. The trolley makes it convenient to get to main street Deadwood. The Michaelson trail is also just across the street for easy walking access.

paid over $800 for 2 nights in a room with 2 queen beds....very poor internet service and NO maid service until the final day when housekeeping started rushing us to vacate around 9am!!! Oh, and they should pay their housekeepers enough so they can stop asking/expecting tips from guests!

The hot tub was not even warm, same as the pool. There was no wi+fi and they couldn't fix it. The guy at the counter was very helpful, his boss would not return his calls about the problems. I ended up leaving after 2 hours, with a full refund.

The first night they only had one person working bar/slots area and this person was also responsible for cooking food orders. Need at least one more person. He did an amazing job all things considered but long waits, order mixed up. Everything thing else great.

After a bad experience at another hotel, we were lucky enough to get the last room here at the Comfort Inn. The front desk was very friendly. All the staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean love to the bar and loved the casino. loved that the trolley took us downtown. Will definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff weren't very friendly. It was clean and nice rooms. The only issue is you need to drive to downtown unless you bring a bike.

Staff was super accommodating. The breakfast lady worked very hard at keeping everything full and making sure her spare time was tiding the eating area. Last minute reservation and super happy we made it there

We stayed here 4 nights. Our experience was mostly good hence the 4 stars. We did have to get more towels, tp and take some trash out ourselves after a request for housekeeping was either forgotten about or they just didn’t have the staff to do it. Mold around the bathtub drain easily scraped off, yuck. Otherwise, the room was a nice size, bed comfy, friendly staff, decent breakfast and fun amenities. We would stay here again.

The room was very quiet and comfortable. We stayed in one of the suites which gave us extra room to spread out. The trolley makes it convenient to get to main street Deadwood. The Michaelson trail is also just across the street for easy walking access.

Overall a nice hotel Casino hours were odd, online states 24 hours a day, but they were avtually around 3pm - midnight. Would have liked to spend a few AM hours there. Breakfast was appreciated and overall good, nice variety. Our bathroom celing needed to be cleaned and repainted. Our bed comforter also needed to be replaced, the bottom seams were totally ripped. Just for reference, because i know it matters to some- room cleaning is completed on request by 11 am. Unless a longer stay. This is posted in the bathroom mirror. For kids it does have a fun looking arcade with prizes for tickets and a mini golf are, which we didn't use. They also have washers and dryers (didn't use), In room microwave and a good size refrigerator/freezer. Our room did not have a safe. The trolly to Deadwoods Main street has a stop right out front and its $2.00 pp.

When we arrived the lobby had a sour smell which puts you off immediately. The checkin desk had a security fence that made you feel unsafe. The pool was green and cloudy. The room was clean. The breakfast was not stocked and was missing many items.

The Hotel was dimly lit for lighting. The front sliding door was struggling to open from time to time. The arcade was poorly kept up. The kings suite was decent size, yet lacked a mountain view as described. The room was decently clean, but old and tired. Breakfast was basic and a lot of premade store items. Staff seemed to be lacking in existence. Lights are turned off in many areas that lacked traffic, making it more univiting to provide that traffic. Its not terrible, but its not amazing either. If your there just to sleep and than spend your day sight seeing, its an option. But I certainly dont feel it was worth the price it cost.

Beds & pillows very comfortable. Clean room. Great water pressure in shower. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. Large arcade. Mini golf. Casino. Friendly/Accommodating staff & management. Could improve on better lighting in bathroom for us ladies ;-) Would definitely stay again!

A very disappointing experience. Staff was absent or inattentive. Food was terrible and expensive. Casino?? On the premises consisted of a handful of antiquated slot machines. The whirlpool was turned to a cold setting, and we needed to request to be turned to a proper temperature. Over all we were treated as if they were doing us a favor rather than paying customers. We will not be staying there in the future, and make sure our friends and relatives are made aware of the shabby, frustrating experience at the Comfort in.

We stayed here for 3 nights during the Motorcycle Rally and it was great. The nite time staff were amazing. The owner even gave us a ride downtown in his Escalade. Breakfast was hot and had great choices. Over all a great experience. I will be back next year.

We like to stay here because the parking lot is huge...we haul our car down for KDN in our trailer and there's ample parking. We usually get a king suite and the room is very comfortable and ok clean. The new owner and staff go above and beyond to make your stay a good one and I appreciate that. Most places could care less about any of this. we don't use the amenities as we don't have kids along or use them ourselves, but people I see using them have smiles on their faces so it must be good. We'll definitely be back to stay.

Good location and breakfast. If you are a light sleeper the windows must be thin because you can hear every car driving by. The room was clean. A short drive to and from downtown Deadwood.
