Filthy, desk area, stairs & room not vacuumed. Hadn't been vacuumed in quite a while. Pool had no water and not functioning. Immediately checked out. Hotel said i wouldn't be charged. Yet, I was. Hotel.com called them to refund.

This place is a dump. Room was very dirty. Didn’t feel like a safe area of town. The pool was out of order and my kids were disappointed as a pool was listed on the website without notification that it was not functional.

Staff was friendly and prompt. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Pool wasn't working. We were permitted to go one exit down and use the pool at a sister hotel. No diet soda 😞 in the vending machine. Restaurants nearby. Would stay again.

No house keeping in 3 days.No coffee machine in room, key card won't open side doors. Pool closed, ice machines not working and the temp was 104°f / 40°c. Breakfast was muffins toast cold cereal. BUT Close proximity to major hwy. Place was cheap but no amenities

Was not a breakfast in the morning. Had no coffee and very small limited items to choose from. Left over bread for toast. Rooms were good, beds needed repair. No pool out of service. for a long time yet! Some of the entry doors did not let you in even thought the card did work had to walk around building to get front door to get in.

Probably on par with the hotel they bought in Trailer Park Boys or the hotel they stayed at in Schitt’s Creek. It would’ve been considered dated in the 1980’s. The exterior building doors lock and you need your room card to get in. However, your room card won’t open the door, so they’re all propped open with rocks. It’s very warm and smells like cigarette smoke throughout the inside of the entire property, rooms included. The blinds in the room don’t stay completely closed so clothes pins are used to keep them closed. The pool was completely empty so no chance for the kids to swim. To round out the stay, a dead and smashed cockroach lay on the floor of the building exit the entire time we were there. We woke up, dropped our keys in a box near the exit by our room and left; didn’t bother checking out at the front desk or even looking at their breakfast.

Very noisy. Sounded like someone was doing construction on the floor above at 6am. Walls are very thin so you can hear everything. Doors on the back side of the building don’t lock so anyone can get in.

TERRIBLE hotel. We are not picky people and this hotel is just that bad. Roaches in the room, employees with bad attitude, no one cleaned our room during our 4-night stay despite I requested it at the front desk. The excuse was that they are short-staffed. From the few outlets in the room, half didn't work. Stained carpet. Don't let the Wyndham name fool you. This is an independently operated hotel (per the sign at the front desk) and does not offer any Wyndham quality.

The lobby area is clean. The room was dirty! There were pieces of food on and in the heat register. The bathroom fan could be heard down the hall. The nightstand and wall have remnants of what I'm assuming is a sticky beverage. The carpet will turn your socks brown. Toilet seat is basically there for looks.The list goes on. Thankful there were no bedbugs under the mattress protector.

The property was dated and in need of maintenance and repair. The room had a lingering smoke smell which became worse when the bathroom fan was activated. Left on long enough and it would produce a contact high. Stains were present on the comforter. That’s an easy and cheap fix, buy a new one. The curtains had several holes in them. Again, just replace them. The upholstery on the desk chair was faded, stained, and worn out. It was likely of 1970s origin. The shower floor had rust stains present. The roadside campsites along the Alaska highway where I had slept the previous week were all in better to condition than this property. I can’t recall a more disappointing hotel experience. It was surely not worth the over $100 price tag.

Room NOT ready at 6 pm arrival. Microwave in room was broken. Hair dryer in room broken and girl at desk said they had no extras to replace it. Only one light in room, no light near bed. Carpet was grimy. There was rust on the ceiling grid and the bath exhaust only made a lot of noise but did not move any air. Girl at desk said it was impossible to get a checkout receipt but after arguing, another employee finally was helpful and got one for me! Breakfast woman would not put out the waffle mix because she did not have any paper plates. Apple juice was only water. Room windows seem to have never been cleaned and could not be locked. We booked for 3 nights and every day when we returned we were locked out and had to make the long trip around the building to re-program the cards to get in. The only thing the girl at the desk could say is "I'm sorry" but did not help with anything. The list just goes on and on. Not anything like I would expect from a Wyndham hotel. I hope Wyndham sees this review and takes their name off this property. Worst place I have ever stayed. Really put a damper on our trip to South Dakota. I recommend to stay far away from this dump hotel.

I booked & paid for a 4 night stay 7mths in advance. After a tiresome 1,000 mile,20hr trek I arrived at Super8 at about 7pm only to find out they had sold my room to someone else.They tried to blame Hotels.com for overbooking them. Jeannine simply said with a wave of her hand "there's nothing i can do, just call hotels.com in the morning and get your refund" Well its not like i can turn around and drive home.. Super8 already had my money.. there were several events going on in the area and everywhere was booked up.. while this was going on a man complained that his key no longer worked, said he was supposed to check out earlier, but had paid that morning to extend his stay for 2 more days..(yeah, MY days, I suspect they sold my booking for more than I paid 7 months ago) I was exhausted and considerably upset, A girl behind the counter unprofessionally dressed like she was a contestant in a cosplay contest exchanged words with me calling me names.. There isn't enough character spaces left in this review to tell the whole episode, but, substandard arrangements were made at their sister hotel but only after stressing me to the point that I became the physical embodiment of "The Karen" and little miss cosplay threatened to call the police on me for trespassing by not having a room there and being rude (I was sarcastic and opinionated but never swore or yelled) I said "go ahead, you took my money and at least they'll give me a bed for the night and maybe a bologna sandwich!!!

We booked room, received a confirmation and were told they overbooked and we did not have a room when we arrived at midnight. There was another group who did not have a room as well. I felt sorry for the front desk who had to deal with sharing this information when we arrived. We were given no help with finding another room in the area. Is this the fault of Expedia or the hotel?. I would like someone to reach out and let me know. We drove 8 hours that day and had to them drive more to find another hotel and pay a higher price.

Customer service from gentlemen we dealt with at front counter was less than pleasant. They were unfriendly, not welcoming and indifferent to guests. Room had no shower curtain and sink was not functioning upon arrival - brushing teeth in tub for a day but, did get fixed. Room is only cleaned every three days which is not made clear when you check in. If you want it cleaned, you must make a request for that but, again when doing so, felt as though we were inconveniencing the man we spoke with.

We were double charged for the room and the staff working the front desk was extremely rude. We showed her that we were charged two times and she proceeded to say she didn’t do that even though it’s on our transaction. The hotel was dirty, smelled horrible, and the windows on the main level didn’t lock. Won’t ever recommend this place or stay there ever again. Hoping to get the refund we deserve after being charged a second time.

This hotel was clean and all the personell were super nice and helpful especially the older lady at breakfast she helped my kids get their drinks and and told us where things were around town to see. Overall it was a good stay!!

Easy to find property, close to shopping options. Breakfast done at 9:30am, too early when on holidays. Staff was very helpful and cheerful. Just need to fix the side door for entrance. We were aware we couldn't get in that way. Thanks for the convenient stop on our adventure.

It would have been better for a one night stay. I booked for four nights, and was not a happy camper. First off, the pool was out of commission. The advertised fitness center does not exist. The room for two people only had one chair at the table and no Kleenex in the holder. They did correct this. The breakfast bar never offered bananas during the four days. Apples, oranges, stale donuts, two kinds of sugary cereal, and no bread for toasting until the fourth morning. There was waffle making available with syrup. A sign on the bathroom mirror said that room service would be after three days unless requested sooner. I requested room service after two days, but it didn't happen. They can't tell me they are conserving water when the shower is full blast at about 3 gallons per minute. Would not stay there again even for one night.

Property is dated but not well maintained. Booked for the pool which was closed, draining across the parking lot, with a mouse running around the drained pool. Staff were non existent at breakfast where both waffle makers were broken in various ways. Supplies remained unfulfilled throughout our time in the room. There is not really anything wrong with this particular hotel, it just needs updating. For example, all the carpets throughout the hallways need to be severely cleaned or replaced. The electrical was odd. There was only 1 usable outlet by the beds, the other outlet was so old that when you plugged things into it they would fall out. The staff was excellent and very helpful with issues. The ice machine on the second floor didn’t work either, that was just inconvenient, there is a machine in the lobby.
