You could hear everything from next room, including tv. AC was so loud it woke you up everytime it came on. Remote control for tv didn't work. Only ice machine was in the lobby, which was a car ride away. Very poor outside lighting where our motel room was at. Breakfast was very limited; Overall for what it cost, wasn't really worth it.

Room linen was clean, bath clean, pool good. Seems to be under construction, peeling paint and heat registers were missing the covers. Area was convenient, feel a little upset about how expensive it was due to the overall condition.

The good: Decent beds and pillows. Instant hot water and good water pressure. The wall unit AC was able to keep the room cool even with 90deg. Temps outside. The pool area was nice. The bad: The property has a few different buildings and the one we stayed at was pretty run down. Cigarette burns on the furniture and the tub. Our door looked like it was retro-fit, you could see daylight all around it. The WiFi, even when I could connect, didn’t work. I’m fine staying at a place like this. I only need a comfy bed and hot water, but my wife likes a better presentation. Most other hotels in rapid city are $100 a night more expensive. You get what you pay for.

I chose the location as it was advertised as having guest laundry facilities. When I went into the office to obtain the laundry room key and change for the machines I was informed that the laundry was unavailable for guest use needing maintenance work. I ended up having to use Uber to take me to a public laundry to do 3 weeks worth of laundry as I am a regional truck driver. I made it work but definitely inconvenient and additional cost to me.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The check in process was easy and the staff was friendly. The shower water pressure was good, and the towels were decent compared to other places. They had a blow dryer and iron. The microwave had rust in the bottom, so we did not use it. The toilet seat was not proper size and kept moving. Breakfast was a disappointing as there was hardly any food from which to choose. We were traveling with a small dog and on a limited budget, so sometimes you have to make sacrifices.

Pool was already closed for the season. The rooms were dirty and not properly cleaned. The bed frames were filthy and full of dirt. Business center computer didn’t work. Wifi wasn’t very good if your room was in bldg far away from front desk. Staff was at least nice and accommodating when issues came up. For the price of room $65+taxes US I think next time we’ll pay the extra $20-$30 and stay at a cleaner hotel.

The only real problem was the cleanliness. We were cleaning up water from the kids going to the pool and the towel almost turned black from wiping up the floor. Then I noticed a bandaid the next morning behind the toilet. No one in my family had a bandaid on so I know it wasn’t ours. I can get past a lot of things but that’s gross.

I have stayed in many hotels in the past month but this was the worst. Carpet had many stains, dead bugs on the floors, old stains on sheets, missing towel rack, missing light bulbs in bathroom. We didn’t eat breakfast in the morning- tables and food area were dirty. Hotels. Com should take this off their list.

Couldn't believe it carried the Wyndham endorsement. Very dated property, in dire need of detailing and bug extermination. Dead bird found outside of air conditioner, pubic hairs in corners of bathroom. The airconditioner was extremely loud. The old thin blankets/linen were soiled and tattered. The check in was quick, as I made the reservation through Expedia. I was curious why the personable front desk agent who checked us in, kept repeating "this is an independent property". If looking for a Wyndham property experience, don't stay at this dirty 1960s motel.

The room was so disgusting!!! Dirty! There were dry bugs all over the floor, in the washroom and all over in the bathtub, which looked like they had been there all summer. Toilet didn’t work and the phone was not in service to call the front desk to report it. I had to walk down a long slope to the front desk, so inconvenient! The agent tried to explain this was normal and this is the time of the year the bugs come from the mountains. I did not believe her. I was so upset and I was tired after a 10 hour drive. I was moved to a different room and there were still dead dry bugs on the floor. I just took the room because it was so late. I will never stay there again! Disgusting!!

It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. A real pigsty. Dirty floors, sinks, toilets, hair and cobwebs everywhere. Unhealthy breakfast, we didn't have the courage to eat anything, such was the filth of the hotel as a whole.

This was a horrible place to stay. Upon entering the room, found leaves all over the floor. In the bathroom there were several live spiders. One I washed down the sink and several others from the window and the bathtub. These spiders had webs built with other dead bugs in the webs. Nasty towels, dried and discolored found thrown in a corner behind the trash can. Dirt and pieces of candy found under window air unit. The Chairs on our “BALCONY” room, had holes in them that made it impossible to sit on. Our phone had a busy tone that never went away, could even use it in an emergency. Very dirty place. When I complained, I was told since I rebooked it, there was nothing they could do. A major rip off. Don’t book.

The hotel is OK, especially for the price, but it is a very outdated property that needs improvement. My door had light showing through the edges, so it was not a completely sealed door. The staff was great, and the place was clean, but it definitely needs modernization. The bathroom was small, the tub was something from the 70's, and the air conditioner was loud and wasn't working all that great. Overall, if you are late in, and just need a place to go to sleep and depart early the next morning, this would be your place, otherwise, it is just OK.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner filter was filthy so we did not use it. The door did not shut tight so we had noise from that..but it was a cheaper hotel so you get what you pay for, we didnt spend much time in the room so it worked.

The room door lock was broke on the inside and I could see the outside light through the door all night. The tub wouldn’t drain during my shower. Half of the lights didn’t work. The floor was dirty. There were red spots/stains on the ceiling. The Wi-Fi didn’t work and the tv reception kept pausing or coming on and off.

Bathtub drain was plugged so water from shower wouldn't drain out leaving standing water in tub. There was Only a window-type AC unit in room that was located next to ceiling and impossible to reach without climbing up on the bed and it was filthy. The bed was comfortable and clean and the room was clean. The bathroom window had no curtain so anyone passing by could see inside while you were showering. The hotel consists of 4 or more separate rows of buildings all located on a hillside. It appears to be owned or operated by people from India. The room balcony overlooks the Culvers drive through window. I did not see a pool. The hotel is located on the south side of Rapid City on the road to Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse monuments.

I felt very uncomfortable at this hotel when I walked in and got my room I was told it was very clean and quiet yeah it was till you got to the rooms it’s like the house keepers were very lazy I found cockroaches plus spiders then tried to switch my rooms and the manager made me felt unsafe and not comfortable at all I was surrounded by three men then followed to my room as the manager watched my son leave and told him he wasn’t allowed to be there never will I ever stay again at this hotel

Staff was very friendly. We weren’t told that our room wouldn’t be picked up with new towels during our 3 night stay. We got in late each night from family function and had to ask for more towels. We moved to another hotel for the rest of our stay because we felt like we were a bother.

After reading other reviews I was ready to cancel; however, we decided to just stay because we were only going to be sleeping and showering. When checking in, the owner was pleasant. When we got to our room, I was surprised. The room did not smell, it was clean and the door shut completely. The rooms are older but have had some updates. The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. The AC worked great as well. We did not check out the complimentary breakfast or the pool so I can’t say anything about that but we had a nice quiet stay and would stay there again. The hotel is within walking distance to a few restaurants and convenience stores so that was nice.

Bathtub drain was plugged so water from shower wouldn't drain out leaving standing water in tub. There was Only a window-type AC unit in room that was located next to ceiling and impossible to reach without climbing up on the bed and it was filthy. The bed was comfortable and clean and the room was clean. The bathroom window had no curtain so anyone passing by could see inside while you were showering. The hotel consists of 4 or more separate rows of buildings all located on a hillside. It appears to be owned or operated by people from India. The room balcony overlooks the Culvers drive through window. I did not see a pool. The hotel is located on the south side of Rapid City on the road to Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse monuments.

It is ok for a quick stop and sleep but if you need ice you have to get it from the front desk and for breakfast if you are looking for a muffin, cereal, bagel, toast or pancakes it is ok but the had cheese omelettes and they were frozen. So sad.

This is a MOTEL not a hotel. Their pictures on their website are very disceaving. The main picture on the site is what the main lobby looks like but they do not put the proper pictures of the entire buildings and it's properly layout as all rooms are entered in by the parking lot and they are buildings, not floors. The bathrooms, toilet and shower, are the size of a small closet. The free breakfast is a joke. Pre packaged donuts, "omlets" that were cold, or make your own waffle. On a positive note the floors are nice in the rooms as it's not carpet.

There was hair in the shower, no plug for the bath tub. Breakfast was horrible film Around the top of the milk, waffles tasted spoiled (sour), eggs were bland tasted like they were made with American cheese slices and rubbery. My fridge in my room wouldn't even get my drinks cold. I will most definitely not be back to this hotel or any with the same name because of this experience. I spent $220 for the night when I came to turn in my key no one was even present to speak to about the issues.

The worst experience in a long time. The room was dirty, the noise from the room upstairs made it impossible to sleep. The cooler was very loud and you could hear the street traffic. The breakfast buffet was very poor. Definitely not worth the room rate.

The staff were amazing. Very helpful and understanding. We stayed in Rapid for an unfortunate situation with family. The hotel is more of a motel with outside entryway doors. The beds and room were clean. Not super comfortable but the cleanliness made up for it. Bathrooms were small but clean. Breakfast was also great.

They had a blow dryer and iron. The microwave had rust in the bottom, so we did not use it. The toilet seat was not proper size and kept moving.
