The floors near the elevator are sticky and dirty. One of the two elevators was out of service. The hotel was very busy/full. This morning, there was no breakfast because the cook did not show up. There was some yogurt, sweet rolls, but no coffee or hot water for tea. The front desk offered me a refund but since I booked through Expedia I have to contact Expedia and they will have to contact the hotel to arrange a refund for not having a breakfast. One big reason we stay at Holiday Inn Is for the breakfast which is convenient and good.

i changed to the holiday inn because of the in door pool.but the water was so co ld we could not go in. i asked the lady at the deck and was told that the heat was on. i would like to see her get in it. so i paid more for something i could not use. we will not stay there again

We just stayed for one night in room 403 on our road home to Disney. It was right off the interstate which made getting off and back off the road easy. The elevator was a bit shaky but I only had to use it twice. Once to get to my room and once again to check out the next morning. I was able to get dinner door dashed right to my hotel room. We did have some shaking in the room from our arrival until around 1 in the morning . I think maybe guests in another room near us were jumping or something. I initially thought it might be from the elevator but we didn’t feel it at all the next morning and the elevators were constantly going. It seemed clean and well maintained. The shakiness of the elevator and the jumping from a near by room were my only complaints. Staff was friendly breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. The shower and toilets worked fine. It was good for a one night stay.

Unclean Room & Poor Management My family and I booked a room that sleeps 6. When we arrived, the bathroom had mold stains in the shower ceiling, a permanent brown stain in the tub, and a strong stale odor in the room. We could not even shower in the bathroom. When I notified the front desk, the attendant casually said the stain was “from people working in the tub,” as if that made it acceptable. To their credit, they did eventually switch us to another room to accommodate us — however, the general manager’s people skills were extremely poor. She initially told us we would not be charged for the extra room, yet I later saw the charge pending on my bank account. When I brought it to her attention, her response was simply: “Oh, it’s gonna fall off.” There was no apology, no professional communication, and no reassurance — just a dismissive attitude. For the price we pay to stay here, cleanliness and respectful customer service should not be optional. The room conditions were unacceptable and the way management handled the situation was even worse. I would not recommend this hotel until they address both their cleanliness standards and their customer service training.

The hotel is located close to the highway, which was real nice. There were some nice restaurants nearby. However, cleanliness in the bathroom was left wanting. There were some water stains on the floor under the sink. There was hair in the corner behind the door and there was mildew around the tub edge and walls. And also there was a yellow/orange dried puddle under the toilet where that screw goes to hold it down.

We stayed at this same hotel a couple of years ago, and it was fine. I dont know what happened but it was completely filthy and absolutely gross. Our bathroom floor had muddy foot prints on it and the shower looked like it had been worked on and never cleaned up after. We were exhausted and just wanted to rest and get out quick! Never again.. This hotel certainly not up to the standards we are use to!

There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, dusty vents, and a strong smell in our room. A worker quit/was fired as we arrived and we had to wait for someone to come check us in. Food was subpar. Burned toast set off fire alarm at 7:30 am but no one knew how to get into the room to shut it off. We were told that they would not be making any more breakfast after that. There was 1 nice worker. Try another hotel.

The Lobby was fine. And staff was okay. However the room itself very unclean. The bathroom was dirty and floor more than anything. Hair and dirt. I always check the mattress and let’s just say it was dirty as well. I took pictures. Would not recommend or stay again.

Overall good but there was a truck parked below that made noise at night. Also, the room has various creaking and popping sounds at night. Not sure what it was. Also, the do not disturb door tag was missing. Should be present in every room.

Food was good, service good, beds comfortable. However the road noise was, loud! The hotel walls were terrible you could hear the neighbors turn on the sink, shower and flush so not sound insulation. Bring your ear plugs!

The room was okay. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling. Several of the electric outlets didn’t work. A ottoman was being used to hold up a piece of panel underneath the shelf between the beds that was broken and falling away from the wall. When I checked out they charged my card almost $500.00 over the amount of my bill. The bill was paid full prior to check in.

Nice hotel with a great staff but the location is terrible, right next to a busy interstate and the noisiest night I’ve ever had. Not to mention the old, worn mattress that was manufactured in 2008! Breakfast was very good, though. I would not recommend this hotel because of the noise and old mattress.

Nice hotel, great location. Minutes away from Lookout mountain depending on what side of the hotel you’re on, you can look out the window and see the mountain. Cracker Barrel is within walking distance and the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating.

Pretty good stay. Very comfortable beds and room with good air conditioning. Breakfast is ok but happy that it is offered. My only complaint is that they gave us a room with a toilet with no way to flush it. The knob/ handle was missing and there was no way to push or turn it. We tried to lift the lid to flush and couldn’t do that either. We would have asked to switch rooms but we were there for only one night and didn’t discover the problem until 11pm anyways.

As soon as we got to our room, someone had to be called to help us get the door unlatched from the outside to even be able to walk in. The bed is not very comfy at all. The fridge isn’t very cold; the tv remote is basically garbage. Only the guide & channel buttons worked. Had to turn it off & on by pushing the button on the tv. The room was very noisy (could hear everything around & above us). This should’ve cost less than $100 or barely over. It definitely was worth $200!! Overall I’m very dissatisfied!!

They gave my room to a couple which walked in on me while I was in the shower the desk clerk was new couldn’t check people in or do reservations, had no help, no manager on duty or anything.

Apparently they didn't have my number on file. So we showed up at 10pm and had no room because a maintenance issue occurred. But no one called or emailed to say anything. The room was already paid for but we got turned away. Very disappointing. I understand things happen, but no notice was just crazy. Now we're wondering around in a new city trying to find a room.

Nice property, only drawback, too close to interstate highway, too much road noise. If your a heavy sleeper fine. Otherwise book elsewhere or bring ear plugs. Three Amigos is a nice Mexican restaurant nearby.

The room was very nice except for the bathroom door not being able to be closed all the way. Everything looked new and the breakfast was amazing! The drive to downtown was only minutes- this hotel is very close to 24 and going to rock city or Ruby falls only took minutes as well. Great location if you don’t want to be in downtown.

Nice hotel, great location. Minutes away from Lookout mountain depending on what side of the hotel you’re on, you can look out the window and see the mountain. Cracker Barrel is within walking distance and the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating.

The hotel was quiet and we slept very well. The room was clean. We enjoyed the blackout blinds. The breakfast was not good (awful) so we ended up eating at Cracker Barrel across the parking lot. The bathroom had only the mirror light for lighting. There was a light over the tub/shower but there was no way to turn it on. There was no fan in the bathroom so the mirror stayed wet for a long time. Most likely next time we will stay at a different hotel.

The floors near the elevator are sticky and dirty. One of the two elevators was out of service. The hotel was very busy/full. This morning, there was no breakfast because the cook did not show up. There was some yogurt, sweet rolls, but no coffee or hot water for tea. The front desk offered me a refund but since I booked through Expedia I have to contact Expedia and they will have to contact the hotel to arrange a refund for not having a breakfast. One big reason we stay at Holiday Inn Is for the breakfast which is convenient and good.

I was driving back home from Asheville and was just too tired to make the rest of the drive - plus, some nasty weather was rolling in. This hotel was everything I needed for one night- right off the freeway, free parking, hot breakfast. It was very clean and the staff was so friendly, especially the two ladies working the front desk and breakfast area in the morning. They made sure I was good to go with water and coffee before I hit the road. I will definitely stay here again.

It felt like we were sandwiched inbetween 2 wet wipes for sheets in the bed ( very moist ) the a/c unit was noisy and made train wreck noises when I turned it off due to too much cold temperatures I couldn't regulate. There was a mirror that was lighting up and dimming in the foyer all night and the refrigerator had no shelves and rocked corner to corner . My daughter didn't like the pillows they were too soft.
