I was surprised to find the front door of the hotel locked, requiring me to knock and wait for admission....not very hospitable. When I commented about it to the receptionist she asked "Is that a problem". I found her to be unfriendly. When trying to connect to Wi-Fi I called to ask for the password and she told me to look on the key cover rather than just telling me. This was around 10PM and I had been driving all day.

Great staff, easy parking. Clean beds and bedroom. Building needs serious repairs. Plaster falling from the ceiling in the bathroom. Sinks falling off wall. Elevator closes even too quickly --- even when someone trying to step in.

Checked in at midnight to take a break from a long car trip. Someone sleeping in their running car in the lot next to us. Check in was easy, front door locked for security. Staff at front desk was nice and professional, even at midnight.

Close to shopping and dining. Clean, comfortable. They keep the lobby locked at all times so you had to use phone by door to get access to check in but after you had a key it was easy to get into.

We arrived at 7pm. The front doors are locked, you have to phone to get the receptionist to let you in. We did, but no one came for 15 minutes. By that time, there were 5 groups needing to check in

Parking spots are a bit small. Side door wasnt working, so had to walk all the way around with bags. Next day, they taped the door latch, so it would just stay open. So people can get in from the side. A little unsafe, but convient at least. Older lady at the front desk was pretty rude at check in and on the phone for very simple questions. Breakfast tasted a little weird the first day (pancakesand sausage patties had a weird after taste). But much better the second day. The pancake maker was automatic and the kids loved watching it work. Eggs are instant, but good. Bacon was gone both days. Not enough bacon is put out. You better be quick, its gone by 830am.. but breakfast runs to 10. Small hole in wall from a chair. Front desk said hey are aware of it when i reported it. Carpet in whole facility looks outdated, but was clean. Not enough trash bags in the room. Once u fill that up (its really small), either go down and get more bags (room service didnt come the first day (unless it was while we were at breakfast) or grocery bags if you have them. Paint on walls are chipping in a few places at the bottom in room and bathroom. Coffee machine was dirty. Also, the beds are too firm and they have like a mattress cover under the sheet had us all sweating crazy. Had the AC on full blast it wasnt enough. And AC system is REALLY loud. And finally as we all packed up and ready to leave we see an inch long roach climb up the wall from behind the TV, we killed it and left it for them

The overwhelming smell of the ‘carpet fresh’ product sprinkled on the carpet in the room prior to vacuuming was a bit too much. The access drive to the property is initially narrow and sometimes difficult to spot. The landscaping near the building is almost non-existent and the access to the building from the back lot is over a bridge. Underneath the bridge is a water area but it appears dirty and unkept. Front desk personnel didn’t say much upon check in and we were not told about breakfast hours or location.

The room walls are nasty, stuck boogers or whatever next to the bed. Markings everywhere. Spider webs on the ceiling and spider crawling ceiling. Check in was okay with a service dog but put us at the end of the hall with all the noise in and out next to a stairwell for a migraine disability. Breakfast was limited for buffet. I would not stay here again. Poor water pressure and door was swollen from water damage. And shower curtain holder was broken. Door handle only lifted up to open so half broken and annoying to get into room with kids and service dog and luggage.

This property is dilapidated. They haven't cleaned a baseboard, carpets, etc. The walls have grime on them, the plugs don't work and fall off the wall. I will never stay there again. It is awful.

The room was very outdated and Grimmy. Every time we used the elevator we had to hold our breath because the mold smell was so strong. The mirror in the bathroom was all scratched up like a dog used it as a chew toy. When we got there there were a couple tiny bugs in the tub. When my mom went to the bathroom and turned on the light in the middle of the night there were cockroaches running around and charging her! Not to mention the window covering that was very see through so all night we had a flood light shining up on the building and into our room. Would not recommend!

Mold. Yes, my first room was covered. I should have known when I walked in room and you could feel the dampness. Sheets, towels and anything fabric had a wet feel to it. I took a chance and by 4A regretted it. Went down to desk and they were kind. Offered me another room, same problem. Third room was fine and I remained for the duration of my stay. I’m not sure why others gave 10/10 for this hotel. It’s not a 10/10. That score is reserved for the Ritz-Carlton. A Marriott is also worth a 10/10. This hotel, well being generous, is a 6/10 at best. I travel frequently and know quality. This is not quality. Try another. Please. Save yourself a headache.

Comfortable, spacious room. Plenty of towels (rare anymore). Good breakfast and coffee. Right off I-75. Hot water in the shower. A little dated but really didn’t care after sitting in hellacious Atlanta and Chattanooga traffic. After a long day traveling I slept all night. Staff was friendly.

The TV didn't work, no one on staff to replace it. Window AC never got cold. Security for room doors seem weak and easy to get around. Cleanliness can only go so far with an older hotel.

Overall the hotel was fine, clean and decent. The only major issue was that the AC was extremely loud, and the mini fridge was also noisy. It was so hard to sleep that I had to turn off the AC and even unplug the fridge. Other than the noise, everything else was okay.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to arrive up into the morning, I wasn’t able to check into my room and had to get a room elsewhere. Someone should be accessible to the front desk at any given moment if customers need any assistance. Due to nobody there for over an hour to an hour and a half, I had to leave and go get another room in town. Very disappointing.

The property was clean. When we checked in the lady at the front desk was unfriendly and rude. As we were not familiar with the layout of the facility, we asked a couple of questions about where to park and where to enter. Her reply was always "the cards work all the doors, park wherever you want." We needed a handicap space and had to drive around the parking lot to find them. She never mentioned the breakfast and we also had to ask where to find the elevator.

The woman at the front desk was very friendly when we checked in late Saturday night (Feb 22). I wish I would have got her name. Lobby was locked for safety (after hours) which is good. Room was very clean. Comfortable beds. Could use some cosmetic touch ups but nothing major. Easy access off the highway. Breakfast was well stocked. Lady at checkout was lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful room, comfortable bed. Quiet. Great location to many restaurants and stores less than one mile away. We only had an overnight stay on our way to Charlotte, NC for the Eagles concert.

This seems to be an older property but our stay was very nice. Staff was very friendly, the complimentary breakfast was great, and our bed was so comfortable. Would recommend it as a convenient place to stay for sure!

Comfortable, spacious room. Plenty of towels (rare anymore). Good breakfast and coffee. Right off I-75. Hot water in the shower. A little dated but really didn’t care after sitting in hellacious Atlanta and Chattanooga traffic. After a long day traveling I slept all night. Staff was friendly.

We've stayed in a lot of Wyndham hotels but this one, Wingate,is the worst. The lobby carpets are frayed, elevator smells of hydraulic fluid and jerks on start and stops (needs maintenance), and our room door's hinges sagged so bad the door wouldn't close on it's own. All the carpets in the hallways are filthy where the only true colors are along the edges. Breakfast was deplorable. We went at 8:45a and they were out of meat and eggs, plates, muffins, and all the garbage cans were jamb packed.

The only thing that was horrible was breakfast. There was NO coffee at breakfast or hot water for oatmeal. There was no toaster. AND the only peanut butter was a community jar which is not up to health standards. The milk was frozen. I will never stay here again. The least the hotel could have done was run over to Starbucks which was less than a mile away and buy some huge things of coffee.

This property has gone a little downhill since I last visited. None of the employees were managing breakfast and each morning by the time i came downstairs to eat at 7:45 half the options were wiped out with nobody replenishing it. A good breakfast will make of break a stay. Unfortunately for me that means next time I will be staying somewhere else. Older white lady with blond hair was unpleasant to deal with up front as well. I checked in 9:30 pm she was going to leave me hanging out there until I knocked on the glass since all the door stay locked.

Pleasant surprise after a long day’s drive. The bed and pillows were great. Hotel was clean and breakfast was great, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. Would stay here again!

The room we ended up staying in was clean and had sufficient towels for our brief stay. The person at the reception desk was professional, cordial and helpful. The breakfast looked and smelled amazing. We had early plans that did not allow us opportunity to enjoy the breakfast unfortunately. There was ample parking behind the hotel in a lighted area. We felt safe.

Gutes Hotel für eine Nacht Netter Empfang, grosses Zimmer, kleines Badezimmer. Alles etwas abgewohnt. Nicht so sauber gereinigt, hatten unter dem Stuhl noch einen Socken vom Vorgänger. Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut, genügend Tische zum Essen.

I had a very bad experience at this hotel. The room had a strong damp, musty smell, and the whole room felt humid and uncomfortable. The bathroom, the bed, and even the bedding felt damp—not wet, but definitely moist and unpleasant. The smell was very bad and made it hard to relax. The worst part was that there was a piece of dog feces inside the closet where guests are supposed to put their clothes. I have photos of it as proof. This was extremely disgusting and unacceptable. I felt very uncomfortable the whole night and could not sleep at all. Overall, the room did not feel clean, fresh, or sanitary. I would not recommend this hotel.

The staff was fine and helpful. The bathroom and entrance to the room had little white shredded paper on the floor. The room needed to be maintained; new mirror in the bathroom, painted door frame and there was a weird smell by the air conditioner but the bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was adequate except we almost missed the pancake bar until the end.
