Super 8 by Wyndham Dickson

Smelled of cigarettes and Marijuana, ac was off and window was left open so once we got into our room it was 90°, our room was so dirty hair everywhere, grease stains on the ceilings and walls, microwave handle was broken, cigarette burns in the sheets, floors were not moped, tub and shower were unkept, dryed urine on the outside of the toilet bowl, one of the staff yelled at me down the haul to ask if i was checking out or not. Parking was awful had multiple people parked in 2 spots instead of only one. Outside the hotel was covered in beer bottles and other trash.

It was fine, nice pool

The exterior lighting in lot was great and allowed safety. The room was terrible…. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, without adequate bedding. When asked for additional…. Was told none were available. Desk clerk was cordial but manager individual was rude to desk clerk and guests. Room was very drafty, door did not shut without pushing/pulling closed and only two towels total n bath.. Have stayed here before and prior visits were much better but not sure if will go back to this property

For a cheaper room, I was pleasantly surprised. The person that check this and was very nice and when I asked for towels for the pool, he was very quick into getting them for me. The bed was comfortable in the room was clean. It was a nice cheaper option instead of saying in Nashville we were on our way home from Branson and wanted to stop halfway through our drive.

the pool was closed but there was nothing said on the booking before we chose this hotel. there was no email ahead of time to tell us either in case we wanted to cancel since it is a perk when choosing a hotel with kids. they didnt have ANY extra pillows. the breakfast served was the most limited options ever and they were out of apple juice completely- the only juice offered was orange juice...lol....not a good stay for the 2nd straight year....we gave them a 2nd chance to get it right as last year wasnt good either.

The property was clean and the indoor pool was nice! The staff was extremely nice and that’s hard to come by these days. My only issues is 1. The lights in the bathroom kept flickering after my daughter used the hair dryer kinda felt like we were at a strobe party. And if you have picky kids when it comes to eating their breakfast is not a good option. Dry cereal, no milk, toast, butter that wouldn’t melt and orange juice. Other then that it was a nice stay!

Bad smell.and VERY dirty pool down for over a month the attendant said but still advertising pool open. We had booked 2 n8ghts but canceled 2nd night Was difficult canceling. Oh and toilet plugged and we were blamed.

Did not feel safe because of camper parked right by lot

Pool was nice, really chlorinated but extremelyclean and cool. The family enjoyed it. Front desk clerk was kind and informative upon check-in. Our room was clean just had a lingering smell of maybe a pet had stayed the night before but not a bother. Breakfast was toast, bagels, cereal and my son's favorite WAFFLES! :) Always a winner with our family 😂 Coffee was available through out the night. My husband and I enjoyed this. There were lots of people staying at the hotel but seemed like construction crews, so people hanging out drinking coffee after working all day was a nice atmosphere especially in the lobby my family enjoyed the plants.

This Hotel was old and dirty. Bed sheets had blood or some other stain on them. Room floors were sticky from floor cleaner and dirt black on white towels while wiping floor. Hotel front doors were left open causing it to be warm and humid in lobby area and hallways to rooms. Towels and wash cloths were oily and dirty as though someone used them on a vehicle repair. Food crumbs were on cradle of phone. I was embarrassed to have paid as much as we did for our room and having my family experience such a shotty run facility. It is hard for me to believe that Wyndam or Expedia has not demanded higher standards to be provided at this Hotel. Very disappointed in all parties. Absolutely false advertisement from all involved.

I went to my room and it looked like someone went through quickly to get the room ready. There was dirt and grime in the corners of the bathroom and around the base of the toilet. The microwave had not been cleaned out. The inside top of the.microwave is covered in splatter. The freezer of the mini fridge looked like a coke burst in it and wasnt cleaned up. The shampoo bottles in the shower dont look like theyve been cleaned off. Theres old soap dried on it. There were toilet paper tubes under the toilet as well....the housekeeper said because the toilet is wobbly. Well so was the toilet seat. It was not screwed in tight. The table in the room was not cleaned off either. Hopefully the sheets are clean!! The person at the front desk offered to get housekeeping to the room and clean it. Well this guy came in and changed the pillow cases for w.e. reason and didnt even clean any thing else but the freezer. Grossest hotel room ive ever been in.

It was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, the big-screen TV easy to navigate, and the shower provided proper drainage and offered multiple settings from near mist to massaging bursts. I will definitely rebook here for my next trip to the area!

Hotel was over all nasty. Room was dirty, sheets had cigarette burns in them. Although non smoking, room smelled of smoke. Would have decided to leave but no rooms avail at other hotels. Pictures on website are very deceiving. Would never stay at this hotel again

Filthy! Hairs, lots of hairs and stains in and on the bedding! Dog and human! Dust and dirt buld up on the floors and on the tables. Even an old piece of candy on the headboard. Toilet didn't work. Window unit smelled like mildew and bleach. Staff on duty was not knowledgeable, apologetic or helpful. We left immediately.

Bathroom was VERY dirty on check in. The next day they did a deep clean of the entire room and it was good after that. Breakfast did not have any fruit or yogurt. Just waffles, toast, or cereal. Staff was friendly.

I've stayed here many times since I travel back and forth for work to Dickson. Of all the hotels in the area, and i've tried them all, this is my favorite. They have the best staff, the rooms are spacious including the bathrooms, fridge and microwave with a nice little table, and the rooms are always super clean every time.

Awful. Dirty. Had poop on the walls, hair in the beds and bathroom, and mold in the fridge. Asked for a refund and the hotel and hotels.com both refused. Didn’t even stay 30 minutes because of the filth.

Disappointed with overall cleanliness and condition of hotel rooms. Hallways smelled of smoke, rooms didn’t thankfully but bedding stained and floors coming apart.

Clean, had a lot of trouble regulating the heat in the room. But other than that the room & staff were great.

Very impressed with it being a super 8! Was updated and modern

My bed was a rock. No pillow top. The pillow cases had stains. Burn holes in the bedspread. Toilet wasn't bolted down so the whole fixture tipped. Bathtub wouldn't drain. Brown makeup or heaven forbid poop was on the bathroom light switch. Freezer was completely iced over. I complained about the tippy toilet after my first of 3 nights. They said they had no other rooms available. I told them they had the next day while I was at a convention to fix to tub and toilet. Came back to my room and the toilet was not fixed!! I said I would not stay my last night in the room with a tipping toilet. The front desk man made me show him how it tips. I did. He asked me what the problem with it was. I told him it tipped over anytime I moved. He said he didn't understand. So I told him I was going to be blunt. That when I take a crap, and need to learn to wipe, it nearly dumps me on the floor. They finally moved me into another room. I shouldn't have had to explain it like that. The second room had pillow top mattresses which made me even madder that I had spent 2 nights on a rock hard bed. The mirror in the second room was cracked across the whole lower 1/3 on the right side. I brought my bathing suit because there was a pool... But after seeing how they kept the rooms, I wouldn't set foot in the pool.

The hotel and staff were amazing. The only issue we had came from the people that felt the need to let doors slam shut at 5:30 am every morning.

It’s a budget hotel, and it fills that bill very well It’s clean The beds are comfortable and we had no problems.

It was an okay place. Good access in and out. Room was nice and comfortable. Did not have much interaction with the staff.

Peaceful nights sleep had a room with a jacuzzi in it. Was very relaxing

i had my do not disturb sign on the door and the day before checkout, the head housekeeper knocked on my door two different times, and even opened it, but i had the security latch on. I didnt appreciate that.

I was there for my mother’s Memorial. I called and asked for an iron and an ironing board. They said I had to go to the front desk and get it. No one delivers. I am a senior. Extremely disappointed. Never have I stayed where I had to do it myself!!

In town for a funeral. The guy that checked us in was rude. I went to my room to realize the floor wasn’t clean so I went back to the front desk to ask them to clean the floor. The man then informed me I could checkout if I wasn’t happy with my but because I didn’t book through them I wouldn’t receive a refund. How rude is that right?! I only asked for the floor to be cleaned. I would never stay here again and don’t recommend anyone else to. Other family members room were completely nasty. Bed linen dirty, bathroom dirty, towels dirty and once again the floors were not clean. We have burnt marks on our bed sheets and stains. I’ve never stayed in anything so bad but not to worry because I will never stay in a super 8 ever again and usually I stay in something more expensive but because this was the hotel all the family was staying at I went ahead and booked here. I really wish I could get my money back. That’s how disappointing my stay has bee. There are also random people not staying at the hotel just hanging out around the entrance.

I have stayed in every hotel in Dickson, this one is the most reasonably priced, and the most accommodating. Your staff is friendly, and helpful.

Everyone was so nice. The area was great

Homeless population was renting rooms by the week, Linens were rags, ac made grinding sound all night. Management said basically ( deal with it no other rooms available) heavy police presence do to homeless population, Expedia and Wyndham should not endorse this property.

Close to the interstate and dinning.

Property was your typical Super 8. Great for an overnight. Clean, good location, staff was friendly! Perfect for our needs!

I won’t stay at this hotel again, it use to be nice, but it’s deteriorating fast. Very unsafe feeling. Mold in the bath room.very over priced.

One of the reasons we chose this place was for the indoor pool. Upon arrival we learned that the pool had been completely shut down. We also asked about the hours and location that breakfast would be served. We then learned that there would not be any breakfast served. Get to the room and the sheets were ripped, cigarette burn holes in pillow cases and bedspreads, we were moved (3) times that night. Totally unacceptable on all counts, will not ever stay there again!
