Considering the flood they had in the fall things were pretty good. Pool and hot tub not running yet which we missed. beds were comfortable. Kitchen not fully functional so only continental breakfast available.

Pool was drained except for 2 feet of brown water… not like advertised in the picture had a musty smell.. elevator went out… no restaurants only one next door was empty…

The place is showing its age... the swimming pool was lockex up. The hot tub wS a rank mess. The breakfast bar was a joke. Breakfast was served from 6 to 9 and by 8 o'clock the bar was empty and not refilled. So breakfast was non existent. The rooms hadno coffee maker or microwave as advertised.

Easy on and off the highway. Quiet. However, the hot tub was closed and lots of work (upgrading rooms ) amd repairs going on. Nice people.

The property does not presently live up to the posted pictures. The price paid was pretentiously exorbitant for the experience. As it turned out, the pool was drained, the fitness center was in shambles, and when you follow the signs to "vending," on the first and third floors only, you can get ice, but no snacks or drinks. One would imagine that last item not to be a problem, except that when arriving late, the shell station next door was not open, so forget having any type of a bottle of hydration. These rooms should be priced around $65/night while the ammenities are not functioning, rather than the ridiculous amount I paid. We decided to depart early.

First of all the staff was awesome, very accommodating. Hotel was a bit aged and pool had not been reopened from Helene but visit was in November, and who uses a pool in Tennessee in November? Breakfast was fresh and tasty, had enough for me, and I LIKE breakfast. I will be going back!

The pool and hot tub are closed! It said nothing about that online or in the emails. I get there was a flood but why not tell guests what to expect. We brought pool toys and planned our stay around the fact that you had a hot tub plus the pool. The reason we decided on this hotel entirely was closed with no knowledge to us, the guest. No money was offered back. The halls stink and the lady at the desk told me how lucky they are to even be open. So we as the guest were just the unlucky ones. I get it, and my heart goes out but a quick email to say the pool and hot tub were not open and could not even go outside to that area would have solved the problem.

Snow and ice never removed, no salt placed on the common walk ways. Common microwave in hallway for use is broken. Phones in rooms do not work, great staff very friendly people. The hotel needs some attention. Great location.

Only one microwave in hallway by elevator and out of order ice machine for entire floor. Totally unacceptable in ky opinion and enough of an imposition that would never consider staying here again regardless of condition in rest of hotel. Needs updating in regards to room amenities.

The first room the bed was full of hair. Looked like human and dog hair. We were given another room and that room was clean. One of the drawers under the TV the knob was off. Made it hard for us to open. Instead the bathroom in the corner by the bathroom the wallpaper was coming off. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was not good. Seemed like they did not want to cook for a small group of people. We stayed 4 nights

The motel is next to the best Mexican food I’ve eaten in a long time. Breakfast was good the first day but declined over the next two days. The bed cover was dirty. The sheets were stained. I would not recommend this place or stay again.

The hotel staff were gracious and accommodating and do the very best with what they have. The hotel is in need of investment for general upkeep and maintenance. Examples include peeling wallpaper, bathroom caulking, outside lighting around the pool and perimeter, and stocking 21st century toiletries. Overall, the excellent cleanliness of the pool, room and bathroom was unexpected. The linens were crisp and the mattress was in good condition.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast sucked. There wasn’t enough food we felt like we were taking away from other guests. There was literally 3 sausages and 1 biscuit. The room had holes in the walls. You could smell the mildew and mold.

Our bed was HARD not just firm, but hard. I know that’s a personal preference but made for a rough 2 nights. The room had drywall cut out to access bathroom plumbing (I’m guessing) it was in place but unfinished. The entire hotel smelled like a musty, moldy basement. Wasn’t the worst experience but have stayed in better. Mediocre at best.

Lots of people hanging out by my truck all hours of the night from the gas station next door. I spent a lot of time looking out the window to make sure my truck was okay, which in the end it was fine. Beds were pretty hard, electric outlets were hanging by the wires.. breakfast and check in was great though!

The beds were hard and our backs were killing us from it. The toilet backed up and I was given a plunger, and when trying to call the front desk to get rhe plunger the phone didn't work. Breakfast was terrible rhe front desk person had just a couple of items out for breakfast.

I wish I could remember the name of the lady who ran the whole place solo the first night we were there. She had to come down from cleaning rooms to check us in. She didn't act put upon or hurried. She was friendly and professional. Later we had to pull her away from cleaning to help us with a glitch on our TV. She fixed it promptly and cheerfully. She is sharp and has a positive attitude. She should be made at least an Assistant Manager, in charge of housekeeping and front desk. I hope this message gets through to her and to management. She is a valuable employee.

The room a/c didn't work. Finally after sweating for hours, I asked about a fan and got moved to the highest floor where once again the air wasnt working. It wad absolutely miserable. The night staff was awful and had to wait until they finished their cigarettes before they would tend to the desk. 10/10 don't recommend.

There were no vending machines although there are signs stating they have them. Breakfast ends at 9:30 everyday (no later weekend hours). Our room appeared clean, but we felt the bed was much too firm. The counter lady was GREAT, very accommodating and friendly. Overall our stay was good. And the location was good for us to attend three different gatherings. It is sad however, that ALL lodging raises their prices when a very well attended event is nearby (in this case, a race at Bristol). We were in town for a family gathering but still had to pay an elevated rate for 2 of our 4 days. Overall our stay was fine for what we needed. Snow and ice never removed, no salt placed on the common walk ways. Common microwave in hallway for use is broken. Phones in rooms do not work, great staff very friendly people. The hotel needs some attention. Great location.

They let me check in early to get our keys before going to the race which was very nice! After the race we went to the room it was clean. I personally thought the bed was comfortable however, spouse disagreed, it was very firm. Sadly, there were no vending machines and a drink would have been nice! All in all we would stay again!

The property was in a remote location and no one was there except one person. They are cutting back on breakfast ie hot meal due to low occupancy. They are trying to save food, but for those of us who did show up we may want to eat a hot meal and there was no hot meal. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They are awesome, management needs some work. They should always have coffee and a hot meal in the morning if they want people to come back. Great Price though. two start at most. It is a little scary there.

Considering the flood they had in the fall things were pretty good. Pool and hot tub not running yet which we missed. beds were comfortable. Kitchen not fully functional so only continental breakfast available.

Food was very average for a rate this high. I didn’t starve but too many carbs and no fresh fruit. How hard is it to have bananas or apples? Coffee was very weak even for regular coffee. We walked next door to the gas station in 39 degrees just to get a decent cup of coffee. Check in - Rhonda was great! Check out. No one around at 10:30 am so housekeeping phone a person to email our receipt. Thank you cleaning lady ! Towels were clean and room ok but our alternative was Super 8 so we paid the price.

The place is showing its age... the swimming pool was lockex up. The hot tub wS a rank mess. The breakfast bar was a joke. Breakfast was served from 6 to 9 and by 8 o'clock the bar was empty and not refilled. So breakfast was non existent. The rooms hadno coffee maker or microwave as advertised.

It was good, the only complaint was that you had to ask for breakfast items. We were there for 3 days and nothing was set out, we had to request items from the desk clerk who was on the phone the entire time.

First of all the staff was awesome, very accommodating. Hotel was a bit aged and pool had not been reopened from Helene but visit was in November, and who uses a pool in Tennessee in November? Breakfast was fresh and tasty, had enough for me, and I LIKE breakfast. I will be going back!

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The internet advertised a hot breakfast. Wrong! Donuts and bagels and instant oatmeal. Disappointing on that, but everything else was fine.

Liked the fact staff changed our room from a bed that had dirty sheets however beds have springs that poke into your back Outdated rooms ,no air conditiining in halls /common areas,no hot breakfast,what was offered was not edible/smashed bread ,plain cereal flakes old milk.No soap in public restrooms.No hot water in our private bathroom sink ,smelled mildewy in hotel ,paint chipping from ceilings No microwave to cook own food so must travel to eat.No pool/jacuzzi or workout room as stated on hotel site.The area was hit hard from the hurricane last year but this hotel structure withstood it well !! Needs new beds and Update All amenities/rooms/ac. NOT worth the price and risky to people with asthma which my husband has.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast sucked. There wasn’t enough food we felt like we were taking away from other guests. There was literally 3 sausages and 1 biscuit. The room had holes in the walls. You could smell the mildew and mold.

Personnel were friendly. Had eggs and sausage for breakfast. A little musty smelling, would’ve been nice to have a microwave in the room. No where on the property to purchase drinks or snacks.

First and foremost the phone in the room didn't ring to the front desk. We were having an issue with the wifi and i used the room phone to call....it just rang and noone answered (called 2 times). I then called from my cell phone, the call was answered and i was told that since the flood the phone in our room had issues. This is a safety and security issue. I asked to speak with the manager and was told she was out sick but that I'd get a call within a few days from her. 6 days later, I had not received a call and called the hotel. The manager reiterated that due to the "flood" (which for the records was 2 years ago), had caused problems with wifi and phones. She did not admit that not having a working phone in the room was a safety issue.

Not worth over $200 with tax. Entire hotel smelled like smoke even though signs posted everywhere indicating fines for smoking. Hallways had a couple burned out bulbs and items in the lower level emergency exit. No bottled water available even for purchase. Limited breakfast and no decaf labeled coffee. Room had a few issues including two dead bugs on the bed. There was garbage in the trash can including empty water bottles and a cotton swab- yuck. Ac worked well and good water pressure . Exercise room was dark and mold on lower wall. Find somewhere else to stay for this price point. And when I checked out the front desk staff didn’t ask about the experience.

Fridge didn’t work, ac froze up, towels were filthy, curtains were ripped, bathroom and jacuzzi tub were full of feet prints, no working coffee pot, linens were dirty and staff (the owner was so rude and yelled at me) also there were bullet holes in the walls which was beyond disturbing and the breakfast bar was an absolute joke and inedible. Owner refused any compensation, wouldn’t apologize and basically called me a liar. Oh and the ac didn’t even keep the room anywhere near cool which made it difficult to breathe and sleep too hot.A wash rag was over the smoke detector as well. The phone system didn’t work either.
