Econo Lodge Gallatin - Metro Nashville

We did not feel safe at all. We went to bed and at 4am we got woken up by someone trying to get into our room. They were able to OPEN our door a few inches until the chain bolt stopped them. We jumped out of bed and were terrified. 2 men were trying to get into our room. Turns out the FRONT DESK GAVE THEM ACCESS TO OUR ROOM AT 4AM!!!! Absolutely unacceptable, unbelievable, never ever heard this happening before especially with my wife and I in the room asleep. If we had kids with us you can imagine how bad this was. We felt very unsafe, we went to the supervisor upfront he didn’t give us any help, no accommodations for this problem, no help. He said the best he can do is a verbal “guarantee” that it won’t happen again. The employee who gave them access to our room was working a 16 hour shift and it was a mistake. A mistake that put our lives in danger, an unacceptable mistake that they wouldn’t even try to make it better. Not to mention black mold in the bathrooms and stains all over the walls. Would never recommend this was a horrible experience!

Everything was nice

the room was spotless, bed and pillows were good and so was the bathroom linen’s. It was quiet and ok parking.

The AC/heater in the room kept me quite toasty as I am not used to the cold in that part of the country. The room was very clean and updated, however new linens might be in order. I had blood stains on my sheets which I did not . I was expecting at least a continental breakfast as that is what the website shows I was extremely disappointed as I was looking for a hotel that did offer this due to my schedule in the morning. Also the coffee was the worst I have ever tasted in my entire life
