Room was fine the location of hotel made the vehicles road noise very loud and the event in pigeon Forge made it go on late into the night. Hotel itself was fine parking was difficult and room to close to main road.

Liked the river view Liked the pool being open 24 hours fire pit didn't work . Last time we had a hot tub in the room they were taken out but it was a pleasant stay we will stay there again maybe offer discount tickets to attractions or something like that thank you we ended up having to leave a day early and got money back it was 4.7 stars

The room was very clean and great river views . We stayed in room 209. The door to the room is located on the outside of the building exposing you to outside weather conditions. The elevator floor needs and looks to have needed repairing for some time. Breakfast is the same hotel breakfast offered everywhere. Chewy bacon and bad apples. Pool area is okay but needs remodeling like the open areas to match the inside of the hotel rooms. Balcony views made up for most of the disrepair on the property. Desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable information of the area. Just a little far from the main area of fun in Gatlinburg but is walkable. We did so but will stay closer to that area next time.

Friendly helpful staff, spacious clean room that was well equipped with electrical outlets, a coffee maker, room fridge, ice bucket and microwave. This made it easy to self-cater. The breakfast options were consistent with a budget hotel. We do wish there was sustainable cutlery and fruit not wrapped in plastic. Though we missed a chance to take a swim, we did enjoy the compact gym which was small but clean and set up with an elliptical, a treadmill, stationary bike and compact weight system. It also had a tv, cooling system and water machine.

Property is really nice as all units have balconies and view of the river! The breakfast was subpar IMHO and the milk was expired! The elevator (only one) was not working until after 7pm due to maintenance. Parking is tight under the building. I like the remodeled rooms, beds were comfortable.

We had a great stay. All the staff were pleasant interacting with. Rosa had the room top shape. We used the pool, firepit, and laundry facilities. All were well maintained, and clean. Breakfast ended at 930, and we were not up in time to enjoy so we had to venture for a brunch type restaurant. All in all we had a marvelous stay at Baymont. The price was right, and if it was again, i wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

The rooms were very clean. It has a nice balcony which was nice to sit on looking at the stream. There was a bear that came up on us as we were sitting at a table by the stream. So beware!! The only complaint was the pool. It was not very clean and the for put did not work.

The drive to the garage parking, which was always all that was available, is really only one vehicle wide and we met another vehicle four different times in a five day stay. One of us had to back up each time meaning back into the garage or out onto the street.

Our trip was great. Our room was clean and our view was beautiful. The breakfast was hot and there was a good variety. The lady running the breakfast room was very friendly and helpful. All of the staff was friendly and helpful except the evening receptionist. She has a poor attitude and any questions or simply trying to check in seemed to be an inconvenience for her. The pool area was clean and warm. The sauna was out of order and there were no signs stating out of order. All and all it was a great stay. I would stay again.

I called ahead of time to ensure they had a pack n play and requested one, also informed them we were celebrating our honeymoon. The gal on the phone was sweet said she made a note. I did the online check in prior too and the when we arrived the gentleman wasnt very receptive handed me the key and thats was it. Got to our room and had no pack n play so had to call and he said he would bring it up later. Floors were dirty my sons white socks and bare feet where black winthin a few minutes of him walking around so the next morning we left the clean card up and came back, all they did was making the bed take the trash out and give us new towels. There was still crumbs on the floor from the night before. We had to ask to have the floors cleaned. They never acknowledged our honeymoon so we really just felt like just a number. We werent asking fot much just a note would have made a world of difference. So from a cleanliness/ customer service side we were incredibly disappointed. Location wise its towards the beginning of the strip to walk but there is a free trolley station just a little up, and if you want to walk most things are under a mile away!

As a owner i wasnt very happy with cleanliness of my room the floor was filthy the bottoms of my feet were discusting i has to ask for them to mop my floor. The pool area needs a good cleanig and some new paint. The front desk attendants didnt know anything that we asked them. No info about surroundings. For a Wyndham resort falls on the lower end. Location was great trolly right there.

Breakfast is very good and plentiful. Staff was pleasant. Room was clean and modern. Everything in room was in working order. The facility is near the road, so there is significant road noise. We were usually pretty tired by the time we went to bed, so it wasn't a huge factor. If you're a light sleeper, I would not recommend this location.

Great location, but this is an old hotel that needs to be renovated. The bed felt like a board, the pool water looked murky, the luggage racks looked like they were the first ones ever made. The front desk staff was great 😊. It's not their fault that this hotel needs to be renovated.

Room was nice! Breakfast had what we needed. Pool was covered but we did not use. Had a nice firepit to sit around. A little walk to get to downtown but not to bad. The balcony on the river was the best and the noise from the road was probably the worst thing.

It was a nice stay and everything was fine except for the AC unit that didn't work well and sounded like a jet engine. The balcony was nice with the sound of the running river. It was very peaceful over the sound of the motorcycles and loud cars.

View from the balcony is worth the $. Amazing being able to sit almost over the creek like that. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom area (between sleeping area and balcony) is very small, whereas the sleeping area is very spacious. The wall/door to the balcony is very nice and very soundproof, the other side, facing the road, is not. road noise would be an issue if you were a light sleeper. Breakfast was very nice, clean area, well stocked. Balcony chairs are VERY nice!

This was an average hotel and is good for the price. We stayed as a family of 3 ( 2 adults, 1 8 year old) and it was difficult changing privately because of the room layout. Typically in hotels we are able to just go to the bathroom but that room was only big enough for the toilet and tub. There is a little open room where the sink is, but on the backside is the balcony windows ( curtains do close) and then a mirror on bar space that shows a full view of whatever you are doing in the area from one of the beds. We just had to announce we were changing for a little privacy. There is also little storage in the rooms ( 2 smalls drawers and a closet) so we couldn’t put away all of our clothes for the week we were staying. The breakfast was standard continental breakfast food. We planned to use the pool more often but it was very hot and humid in the glass enclosed room. A good 20 degrees warmer than outside so I couldn’t imagine how that would be during the summer. They also didn’t have any towels when we went, but I called the front desk and they brought some quickly. The traffic is very loud at night, several emergency vehicles went throughout the night, and the river is also noisy. Nothing the hotel could help but it is something to think about if you need quiet to sleep. The staff that we encountered were kind and professional. Overall, the stay was average at best but I wouldn’t stay here again because of the distance to town. It’s a 15-30 min walk to go anywhere.

The aspect you need to know about this property is that it sits RIGHT ON the main drag in Gatlinburg. The road/traffic noise is HORRENDOUS!! The hotel is within walking distance to downtown. The property has been updated and the room was nice. The bed was way too firm for my liking. The pillows are about the size of postage stamps and lacking a decent fill. The room was very clean. The front desk staff seemed a bit like robots; going through the motions of check-in and check-out without much interest in the person standing in front of them.

My wife and I come to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg several times a year and have always stayed in another hotel. Baymont by Wyndham has become our new favorite. The rooms were recently redone and look fresh and spacious. It doesn't hurt that right out your balcony door is the mountain stream. It's beautiful!

There was still crumbs on the floor from the night before. We had to ask to have the floors cleaned. They never acknowledged our honeymoon so we really just felt like just a number. We werent asking fot much just a note would have made a world of difference. So from a cleanliness/ customer service side we were incredibly disappointed. Location wise its towards the beginning of the strip to walk but there is a free trolley station just a little up, and if you want to walk most things are under a mile away!

I called ahead of time to ensure they had a pack n play and requested one, also informed them we were celebrating our honeymoon. The gal on the phone was sweet said she made a note. I did the online check in prior too and the when we arrived the gentleman wasnt very receptive handed me the key and thats was it. Got to our room and had no pack n play so had to call and he said he would bring it up later. Floors were dirty my sons white socks and bare feet where black winthin a few minutes of him walking around so the next morning we left the clean card up and came back, all they did was making the bed take the trash out and give us new towels. The check in was awesome!!! The guy that handled it deserves kudos and a raise! He was so friendly and took care of our 3 families with ease, answering questions helping us room assignments and all we asked of him!! The Baymont I would recommend due to location ON the river, great service and clean!!! It is not a new property but well maintained! We utilized the pool and wonderful scenic deck and fire pit!!! We highly recommend it!!!

my room smelt like marijuana, and the smell traveled from the vent of the bathroom from another room. I called the front desk multiple times reporting this issue on different days. The front desk man reported he would come check it out and report it to the manager, and he never came to check things out, and I addressed this at check out and was told to expect a call from the manager, 2 days later and nothing. I am aware people will smoke marijuana on vacation and that is fine, do it in the smoking rooms, but I requested non smoking therefore I would like to not have that ventilated into my room. I should not have to come back after a day full of activities and have to open all the doors at night to air out my room in order to sleep after a long day. The beds per others in my party stated they were uncomfortable, and it was noted that beneath the mattress were two pieces of wood on top of a metal frame. So, this caused discomfort to 2/3 people in this vacation party. Great view, but far from the downtown area, it is a small walk to a trolley stop; which during off season does not go everywhere one may want to go in town.

The Baymont Gatlinburg was an excellent hotel experience. The staff was professional and friendly. The breakfast was great. Trolly stops right outside the hotel which was great as it 9 degrees with 6 inches of snow. Only problem was a water main break down the Parkway which was completely out of their control. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks guys! D. Lewis 419.

This hotel was beautiful! Everything from the front desk staff, the breakfast staff and our house keeper Rosa was absolutely amazing! A big plus was that it was in walking distance to downtown and all of the fun attractions. My family and I would definitely stay here again.

Our trip was great. Our room was clean and our view was beautiful. The breakfast was hot and there was a good variety. The lady running the breakfast room was very friendly and helpful. All of the staff was friendly and helpful except the evening receptionist. She has a poor attitude and any questions or simply trying to check in seemed to be an inconvenience for her. The pool area was clean and warm. The sauna was out of order and there were no signs stating out of order. All and all it was a great stay. I would stay again.

After traveling very far it’s nice to be greeted with a smile or hello welcome!!! Well not here with the front desk girl!!! She was AWFUL!!! When I asked her a question she was mad and gave me attitude on top of it!! Made the whole experience of this hotel not so good! This girl was the “face” of the hotel and it wasn’t good at all!! Rude, rude , rude!! The room was updated nicely but the beds were very noisy the way they were on these weird platforms and the road noice in the middle of the night kept us all awake.

The room was very clean and great river views . We stayed in room 209. The door to the room is located on the outside of the building exposing you to outside weather conditions. The elevator floor needs and looks to have needed repairing for some time. Breakfast is the same hotel breakfast offered everywhere. Chewy bacon and bad apples. Pool area is okay but needs remodeling like the open areas to match the inside of the hotel rooms. Balcony views made up for most of the disrepair on the property. Desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable information of the area. Just a little far from the main area of fun in Gatlinburg but is walkable. We did so but will stay closer to that area next time.

Workers especially Nathan were super friendly. Parking can be a problem. Chairs on deck over the river were very comfortable. We walked into Gatlinburg and we are old. The hotel is also on Free Tram route. I would stay here again.

The area was very nice. I loved being able to hear the river. Conversely you could hear the traffic noise very clearly at night as it seems people like to show off their souped up cars.

Great little place! Had a king size bed that was very comfortable. Had wonderful smelling dove brand soaps. The view was perfect!!! Pool was warm. Things to know: this hotel has a great view out the back but you should know its location to the strip is further than I expected. We still walked everywhere but you are further away than I was imagining. This is in the busier street just because it is as soon as you get into town. But again, don’t let that stop you. It was walkable. And the hotel is very long, so if you can request a room number, you may want closer to the middle or the left. Middle is lobby and breakfast (which was good) and left is the pool.

Breakfast is very good and plentiful. Staff was pleasant. Room was clean and modern. Everything in room was in working order. The facility is near the road, so there is significant road noise. We were usually pretty tired by the time we went to bed, so it wasn't a huge factor. If you're a light sleeper, I would not recommend this location.

The rooms were very clean, they were definitely updated recently, the free breakfast was way better than most “free hotel breakfast” they offered hot and cold options that my toddler LOVED! The view from our balcony was beautiful and so relaxing. Easy walk to downtown Gatlinburg or the free trolley stop is right next door.

The hotel room was really nice and the bathroom doubled as a steam room, But we didn't like the walk to the actual strip. It was a little further away than we had anticipated, but the river out back was nice and soothing. The hotel room was very nice Inside. We did not like the fact that the Full breakfast downstairs ends at 9:30. No one usually gets up that early on vacation. They should extend the hours till about 10:30 to 11:00. As far as the clerk behind the desk. I See a lot of reviews where people say that she is rude. I did not get that. There are cultural differences that some people don't understand, but I honestly feel like she tries her best to maintain a professionalism that is accustomed to her. She is not American, so she is not going to give the American version of customer service. But she is not rude. She's just different and that's ok.

The amazing river view and indoor pool, with a fire pit just outside, made our vacation even more relaxing after long days exploring the Smokies. Anakeesta is also within walking distance, which was definitely a big plus. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We have always enjoyed our stay at Baymont in Gatlinburg, TN! The rooms are spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. The river view from the balcony is beautiful and peaceful. We spend a lot of time sitting out there and enjoying the river. The staff is very kind, helpful, and accommodating. It is a very affordable, nice place to stay.

This is our favorite place to stay in Gatlinburg because of the location right on the river. We love to sit on the balcony and watch the river and the wildlife. If you’re lucky you might see a bear roaming around. This hotel is not fancy but it’s clean and comfortable. It’s on Parkway so there is noise from traffic but honestly it doesn’t bother us at all and we sleep well. The breakfast is very good with bacon,sausage,eggs,waffles and much more. I love this place.
