Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Corpus Christi/Aransas Pass

Nice hotel lots of well lit parking with a 24hr convenience store next door, and no sketchy folks loitering about either properties.

The pool was nice, the hot tub didnt work. The breakfast was standard. The shower head in our room sprayed everywhere and the nob was difficult to adjust and turn on and off.

I always like that the hotel smells nice and the bedding is clean and crisp. I didn't like that we stayed for two days and they didn't make the bed; they only took out the trash. When we first came in the room the bathroom had absolutely no toilet paper. I also needed to print a small document and their printer was out of toner both nights we were there. Even though they assured me they would have some "tomorrow" that didn't happen. Not a good experience.

The place is clean. However the bed was bad. I could feel the coils in room 220. The tv didnt have much of a selection. You could find lots of inframercials a few movie channels in the 200s. Forget thw 400s. No ice in the ice machine. Breakfast was fine. Selections were avalable. Hot and cold cereals, toast, waffles, eggs and sausage.

The pool was small but clean, the hot tub looked dingy, was barely warm and the knobs broken off. The beds looked very well made but felt gritty and we woke up with bug bites on our bodies. Breakfast bar is not big but it is sufficient. This little place looks nice but needs some work in some areas.

Very clean, friendly staff. Ice machine was out of order and no complimentary water but other than that everything was nice.

Paid to go there and hit tub was not working

the property was great, clean, crystal clear pool water and friendly staff. The only thing that was not good, the jacuzzi!!! It was soooo murky!! You could not see the bottom.

The fact that it shows you have a hot tub but doesn't work was a huge disappointment and I had to go ask for towels my room only had 2 bath towels 1 face towel and 1 wash cloth The room had a bad mildew an dog smell which was also in the hallways. I won't be staying there again.

CLEAN and smells good was my first impression! We stayed 3 nights and the staff was great! The room was clean and comfortable. It is located minutes from the Port Aransas Ferry ( Dolphin views!) Overall great hotel to stay at!

The bed had bed bugs. I got bit and the lady at front desk was so rude about moving me to another room. They didn’t even offer any kind of compensation for the inconvenience. Horrible experience.

The room was horrible smelling when first arriving to the hotel. When telling the front desk of the horrible smell, they gave us a air freshener to spray ourselves in the room, which didnt help. There were bed bugs and we had bites all over our legs. There was only eggs, sausage links, and waffles for the options for breakfast. One of the overnight staff was extremely rude and wouldnt stop giving everyone really dirty looks. The day front desk girl that has a lip piercing was amazing and so was the overnight lady from New York, both need a raise!!!!

The were roaches in the room.

Several holes in the bathroom walls, not repaired. Bathtub had several marks in the bottom appearing to be dirty. Beds are very firm. Hallways had a musty smell. The breakfast option was decent. We enjoyed the waffles.

Mold and rust in the bathroom. Property is not in good condition, nothing like the pictures. Hot tub was freezing which was why we booked this spot. Front desk worker when we checked in was very rude. We would not return

Microtel has really gone downhill. I’ve been staying there for 15 years. It was my go to every time I went to Aransas Pass. My room had cockroaches, doorframes are peeling with rust, the carpet was stained and had gum or something stuck in it in multiple places. The other guests were unsavory types. Very disappointed. My biggest grievance was they got rid of the Texas shaped waffle maker.

Where to start with this place.......first my booking was messed up. After a couple of clerks and rooms offered we got acceptable accommodations. Next zero water pressure, no real bedding they are making due with sheets and thin blankets. The property is very dated no remodel since i stayed last 14 years ago, but the exterior and pool are nice. The room visually are a mess, damage, thread bare carpet, worn furnishings. Two nights there was a strong smell of weed. Not burned but fresh in bags weed had to be alot judging by the strong odor. Continental breakfast, ya at your own risk. I stopped at the cup of mud that was supposed to be coffee. The lobby is pretty sad, small, more worn furnishings and an odd smell. We were there for a week. The place was reasonably quiet except for the traffic at the 24 hour convenience store outside of my window. The matress was comfortable enough and decent pillows. The employees get atleast 4 stars because of what they have to do to keep guests happy. The property itself 2 stars at best. Do better for travelers, remodel the place there's a good example of a remodel next door. Will i stay again? Maybe if I cant find anything else. Don't get me wrong it wasn't a bad experience just disappointingly underwhelming. Take care of your employee's they work very hard to make the stay better and keep customers from walking away.

The room served its purpose…. But I felt like I was in Polly Pocket’s room. The pictures are completely deceiving. Bedding was terrible.

The breakfast was great. The beds were comfortable and the show was so inviting. Only problem was noise from the people next door and upstairs.

Was there for two days, found it overall clean but not excellent. Staff was serviced but did not feel like home. Room AC to us was not functioning properly, did not report it to staff because it will be a little bit more uncomfortable to be moving our belongings. Overall it was a good stay on your place, but I do believe it can be improved in many ways by same staff. Customer service!!!!!

It’s a good value for what it is, a convenient place to take a shower and sleep. My only dislike was the mattress. It seem to be broke down on my side of the bed, which made it feel like I was rolling out throughout the night.

The room and the especially the beds were so comfortable. The TV worked well and the A/C was perfect.

Bed was comfortable. Room was smaller than usual and didn't have a mini-fridge or microwave. Breakfast was very limited and they were out of forks at 7:20am. At check-in, I had to wait for clerk to come back from talking with someone. I had my cards ready and I started to tell her my name. She didn't even say hello, she just grabbed the cards out of my hand. Not friendly, no smile, not even a thank you!

Had to change rooms. Original room A/C was on its last leg, room never cooled off.

AC outlet in bad places very hard to reach. Shower water control was strange. No refrigerator. Room was small but nice

For the amount of money the room cost, I expected it to at least have a fridge. Traveling with my toddler was way harder having no where to store anything like food or snacks.

Ac in room was not working and when talked with front desk was told we would have to deal with it! Asked to speak with the manager and was told he was out and would call! But still haven’t heard from management

I had my bag stolen out of the parking lot. More then 2 weeks later the manager has not called me as requested. The police still have not filed a report.

I enjoyed staying here. When my ac stopped working without no doubt the receptionist did not hesitate and placed us in another room. She was amazing! Thank you for the great stay

The property was ok. Good not great. Better than a the Motel 6 but far from as good as the Candlewood. The first day there was NEVER anyone at the desk and me and several other guests had to wait for someone to show up. There were no wash cloths in the bathroom and only 2 towels. When we asked for more they gave us 2 more towels and that’s it. I had to get a crib and they did get me one, but when I asked for linens they gave them to me on a heap and I couldn’t tell if they were even clean. This was all from the young girl who was there on the first day. The other lady who was there the 2nd day was way better she was gone from the desk a little bit but you could tell she was doing stuff for guests and she always came right back.

When it was finally my turn, the clerk insisted that I needed to have my vehicle's license tag number. I had to walk back out to the handicapped parking to get that information. room was clean and it was conveniently located.

The room itself looked worn down, with old carpet and furniture that had so many scratches and torn pieces that it did not make you feel comfortable. I also had to kill a bug that was crawling through the counter, which looked like a roach, but it was hard to say after I had killed it. The breakfast was absolutely terrible, or at least the scrambled eggs were. I did like the location, though; this was fairly close to the Ferry to Port Aransas and near Rockport as well. However, the experience was meh, and I will likely not book this place again. Next time, I'll stay at Home2 Suites in Corpus and just drive where I need to go.

Convenient to shop and activities. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Lobby was bright and new.

I like that the hotel is located next to a convenience store and a grocery store. The hotel still provides daily breakfast, but it is a little more limited in selection.

A short walk to the grocery store and many other things. Single beds have no fridge but are clean and well maintained. No loud noises ac is great bathtub is clean I took a bath but you can change the settings on the shower which is nice

I loved that it was very clean, Staff was helpful, Free Breakfast was on point. Location location location, so close to Port A, Corpus. I will stay here again.

Solid, comfortable and safe. This hotel met my needs for a one-night stay during a family weekend trip to the beach. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and functional. Even breakfast was good.

It’s micro in size. Online picture had a small refrigerator but not one in the room. Worker were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was terrible.

Breakfast was very limited, and several options, such as yogurt, were not available at times. Only 2 towels were provided, and we had to go to the front desk to request clean towels. Other than those two items, it was pretty average.

Overall a good stay. Breakfast on the other hand was awful. Cold eggs, dry hard sausage. Just not many options. Even hard to just get coffee. It's listed as free but we all know it's built into the booking price
