This place was awful! We left less than an hour after arriving. I am highly allergic to mold and from the moment we entered our room I was hit hard. The moldy, mildewy smell was the first thing we noticed. Everything in the room was damp, bed linen, carpet, and the sofa my nephew was supposed to sleep on, all of it. I immediately called Hotels.com and they began working to get me a refund. Manager refused to refund the 1st night even though we literally stayed less than an hour. I am still waiting to hear back about they other 2 nights. Please if you value your health, don't stay at this hotel.

Had two rooms. First room (#111) smelled terrible and ac unit was extremely loud. Second room surfaces were not clean and bathroom had mold on shower wall where the unit was pulling away from wall. Shower end would not fully engage do water pressure was not ideal.

The hotel looks great in the photos online, as if it is new. When you arrive you can immediately tell it is either older, or well abused by customers. The AC only went to 73 even though it was warmer outside. The carpet had a musty smell and could use a deep clean. Bathroom door caught on the floor and would not open all the way.

Security door lock was broken off the wall. The lamp shade was broken. Kids were running around without parental supervision, both days. Friday they trailed water down the hall from the pool and up through the elevator. Saturday morning they were heard running all over the third floor, waking us up. Why the heck the staff puts people right on top of each other is beyond me!

House keeping tried open g my door at 8:20 ish. Was still in bed when I heard the door opening. Yelled out still in the room. No apologies, just left. Luckily the top door lock was open which keeps the door from being opened. I ask the front desk if house keeping keeps a long of what guests leave already. It’s disappointing experiencing this.

I have NEVER experienced the lack of service for this trip as we did. The property was overbooked, and the property called us and canceled our stay 3 days prior to arrival with no other communication. I purchased the trip insurance and reached out to Expedia and still with the chat and email from Expedia, we did NOT get our money back from either Expedia or the hotel. This is POOR customer service and someone needs to look into why the lack of communication and clarification between Expedia and the property was this bad! I do NOT recommend this property and after this, I will NOT be using Expedia!

The beds were comfortable. Shower was nice. Towels were nice. Really no complaint about the room. Just the breakfast was horrible. Stale cereal. Horrible sausage. Hard bagels. Moldy blueberry muffin.

It’s a good hotel on a bind but in desperate need of renovation. Staff was friendly and it seemed clean but misty for in rooms. Good for a night to rest yourselves and feel safe and then move on.

At checking the desk clerk, while getting us checked in started a conversation that I would say is an inappropriate way to engage a guest. She said “how do you feel about what is going on in Michigan”. Confused I inquired what do you mean? She stated back you know with all the election stuff. The questions tone seemed that she had perceptions that she would like to have a not pleasant conversation about. Worse than that, the Comfort Suites has a very active BED BUG infestation. Adults down to small nymphs. They have been there awhile and it didn’t become apparent till the next morning as I travel and book many hotel stays, upward of over 20 per year, I pull my sheets and check upon entering the room. We informed the front desk, left numerous photos of the bugs. The aftermath is that my guest and I will need to seek medical attention due to the severity and number of bites we experienced. I have over 20 on my face and probably double that on each arm alone. The owner/manager did not even apologize for the issue when called this morning only that he would check into it and call me back.
