The house is basic but comfortable. The pooland spa were wonderful, and the host was very responsive to our questions. Lots of games inc pool table, Ping Pong, Arcade games. The dock area is well kept with a large live well available for bait. We really enjoyed fishing from the canoe

We take quarterly trips with our employees as we are a small mostly family business. I think we have finally found a place we can continue to come back to over and over again. From the available fishing options here to the fun games and amazing spacious layout of the home we were all very happy! This place has a lot to offer but when it comes to the host! They seriously went way above and beyond. I have never been to or met a more accommodating home in all our stays on many apps. I truly wish I could go more than 5 stars. Jamie is a truly a class act and was so accommodating and thoughtful! Don’t think twice about this place it’s it! You will not be disappointed. Thank you Jamie we truly truly appreciate you sharing your home with us! We will see you again my friend thanks again! - the whole Sluiceboy Prospecting team!

Absolutely everything you could ever hope for in a rental! Of all the amenities listed the only thing that did not work during our stay was the outdoor fire pit. They have every cooking up rice that you could ever hope for. The double kitchen and the double sets of washer and dryer certainly came in helpful with our large group and family. We only asked our post for one thing the entire time, but she replied very quick and prompt back to us.

Great place for a family to gather. The house was clean and kitchen well equipped. Plenty of space for our group of 12. The pool was good size for all of us to enjoy. Watched manatees and caught fish off the dock. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Would stay there again.

We had a great time staying here. We brought our own boat and was able to dock it at the house, which we used to go to a different beach every day and out to eat at night which was way more enjoyable than sitting in traffic in a car.Kids loved the pool and catching fish off the dock.Loved it!!

Our overall experience was incredible! Jamie has such an attention to detail at his home. He creates a full service experience and has everything that you could ever want… Games, kayaks, bikes, pool, hot tub, darts, corn hole, and the rental boat. We hired a driver to take us out on the boat that he recommended and he did a fabulous job of entertaining our group. My girlfriends and I loved everything about our trip and I highly recommend this VRBO! We are already planning our next trip to the Snead Island Getaway.

This house has absolutely everything you could possibly want, Beach chairs, umbrellas, sand, toys, kayaks, bicycles, Ping-pong table, pool table, dart board, Cornhole! The pool and hot tub was amazing! We rented the boat and had a blast! Great communication with host, easy check-in and checkout!

Great place for a stay vacation for TampaBay locals. We love the water South of TampaBay so decided to check out the Palmetto area. We were able to drop our boat in at Riverside Park which was a short boat ride to the house. We were so thankful the rain stayed away for a fabulous firework show. The pool/spa and outdoor living was perfect. Had a little trouble with the front door keyless enter but the owner was Johnny on the spot with an alternative entry. We will definitely return in the future.

The home was exactly as described and well stocked with everything we needed. The bikes, kayaks, ping pong, pool table, and foosball were great to have and the heated pool and hot tub were wonderful. The location is ideal in that it is very quiet and away from the busyness of other locales off of the island. Jamie was great to work with throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend it to others looking for a great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously!!! Everyone wants to return. We saw manatee in the canal and dolphins when we went out on the boat. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything you could ask for. Property owner was extremely nice and I honestly enjoyed any interactions we had! I can’t say enough how nice the property and experience was!Thank you!

This home is just that, a home ! It has it all and more. Such a great place, everything worked and the place was immaculate. The owner clears understands what people want in a home away from home. I’d give it a solid 10 stars any day.

Our family of 11 adults and 1 1y/o enjoyed our getaway week on Snead Island. The VRBO met our needs. We had a couple of issues that the host was responsive to. Overall the house was clean with adequate beds, baths, and kitchen supplies. We are a nature loving family and enjoyed Emerson Pointe Preserve on the island as well as Robinson Preserve and the Manatee Viewing Center (40 mins drive). We took advantage of the property's 2 kayaks, some of the games and as the weather was a bit chilly, only the brave ventured into the pool. The Hot tub was a big hit and very warm/hot and had a great view of the winter stars!

This home was amazing for our family of 9! The outdoors with a beautiful pool and dock on the canal were the highlight. We just about lived out there. The fire pit was such an added treat! The home was well stocked with everything you could imagine and more. The beds were very comfortable - a big deal for us! If you go, you'll want to return! What a paradise!

Our family ages 50-80 had a wonderful stay at Snead Island GetAway. Jamie was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. The pool and spa were wonderful as well as all the amenities. Plenty of room for our day time visitors as well. Thank you !

The house was great! It was just as advertised. We loved that it had everything we needed for cooking including spices. There were plenty of extra supplies such as garbage bags and toilet paper. The showers had shampoo, conditioner, and body soap even! We enjoyed the outdoor area a lot. We caught a couple small fish and quite a few lures. We didn’t have any issues during our stay. The owner was very responsive to questions and very friendly. The house is a short easy drive to lots. Thanks for a great vacation.

Our family truly enjoyed the property. The owners thought of everything and ensured that you had everything needed to have a great time. If you are looking for a great home with fantastic, comfortable bedding this is the place! We have rented at least a dozen homes and this place absolutely is the highest rated for bedding! There were ample rooms, a great kitchen with plenty of everything you need to host a large group. The wife and girls loved the toiletries! The soaps, conditioners and shampoo were a luxury! Thanks for the abundance of towels and well stocked kitchen. The only issue (and it is a small one) we recommend that the air ducts be cleaned. Outside of that, we loved the pool, dock and next time we will take advantage of the boat rental and all the amenities. For those that are staying there, be sure to hit 10th street Coffee and the Italian restaurant about a mile away off 10th. The pizza was a big hit! We made use of the outdoor bar and the upper sun room! Great place for a family gathering. Overall one of the best rentals we have stayed at and when we return to the area we will look to stay there again.

This is a nicely renovated home with plenty of room for our whole family. It’s a peaceful yard and we even saw a dolphin in the canal. It’s centrally located to the more touristy island like Ana Maria and Treasure Island. You can visit for the day and then return to Snead Island quieter pace. Jamie was incredibly quick to respond to questions and easy to communicate with. A thumbs up for our whole crew!

This place was even better than I thought. We had so much fun. All furniture was so comfortable. Plenty of space for everyone. Great location as well. My husband celebrated his 70th birthday with family and friends and it was such a great time. Can’t recommend it enough! Don’t hesitate to book here you will love it. Everything was just perfect. The home is beautifully updated and in a quiet neighborhood. We loved that it was fully stocked with everything you need for your stay, from shower essentials to beach necessities to kitchen and laundry needs. We greatly enjoyed the bikes available and the short ride to Emerson Point. The trails were flat, gorgeous and easy to ride on. Our family of 7 (5 adults and 2 children) had lots of room and had a wonderful vacation. Thank you Jaime for letting us stay in your beautiful home and being available to answer any questions ❤️

This was the perfect spot for our family getaway. My husband, myself, our 10 yr old son, 7 year old daughter, 29 year old daughter and her husband had plenty of space and privacy. The pool is even bigger than the pictures make it look. The hot tub was nice and hot. We also got to see dolphins on 2 separate days right off of the dock while my son was fishing. My favorite room is the dining room that has huge windows looking out over the canal. The view was amazing. The pool table was a huge hit with everyone. Jaime was so quick to respond to any requests and is so nice and accommodating. We will 100% rent here again!! Love love love this place!

The home was perfect for our family getaway, which included 9 adults. We loved the back patio, pool, hottub and firepit. We enjoy cooking and did all of our meals at home. As a side bonus, we rented the boat for fishing and cruising the immediate area. Communication was great and Jamie made the entire check in and out process easy. Will return!

We literally didn’t need to leave because this place had it all. 6 kids age 9-18 all loved the place as did the adults! The owner was super responsive with all questions! Definitely would go back and recommend.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously!!! Everyone wants to return. We saw manatee in the canal and dolphins when we went out on the boat. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything you could ask for. Property owner was extremely nice and I honestly enjoyed any interactions we had! I can’t say enough how nice the property and experience was!Thank you!

Great place for a stay vacation for TampaBay locals. We love the water South of TampaBay so decided to check out the Palmetto area. We were able to drop our boat in at Riverside Park which was a short boat ride to the house. We were so thankful the rain stayed away for a fabulous firework show. The pool/spa and outdoor living was perfect. Had a little trouble with the front door keyless enter but the owner was Johnny on the spot with an alternative entry. We will definitely return in the future.

Had a wonderful week there! We all loved the house, location and everything included. We had to communicate with Jamie for a few things and he was very helpful and available anytime! Would definitely stay there again.

The house, location and amenities made our stay and holiday perfect for the entire family.Pool, games and bunk room for the teens, hot tub, fishing gear, kayaks, pool table and darts for the guys, and plenty of family time in the house and around the pool.The host was very responsive and helpful from the time of booking all the way thru our stay and even after we had left.Definitely my best experience to date.

we loved the house. Everything you need to have fun! The canal and dock were perfect for our boat. The island is very laid back not like AMI, so traffic is non-existent. We will be back!

We had a great time and had everything we needed. Location was perfect. We found end of November had perfect weather. We rented the boat for a few days and that was a great experience. Fishing was good and they had everything you needed to throw a line in right off the deck. We definitely want to stay again. Jamie was great to work with!

This is a nicely renovated home with plenty of room for our whole family. It’s a peaceful yard and we even saw a dolphin in the canal. It’s centrally located to the more touristy island like Ana Maria and Treasure Island. You can visit for the day and then return to Snead Island quieter pace. Jamie was incredibly quick to respond to questions and easy to communicate with. A thumbs up for our whole crew!

We had a great time staying here. We brought our own boat and was able to dock it at the house, which we used to go to a different beach every day and out to eat at night which was way more enjoyable than sitting in traffic in a car.Kids loved the pool and catching fish off the dock.Loved it!!

Everything was just perfect. The home is beautifully updated and in a quiet neighborhood. We loved that it was fully stocked with everything you need for your stay, from shower essentials to beach necessities to kitchen and laundry needs. We greatly enjoyed the bikes available and the short ride to Emerson Point. The trails were flat, gorgeous and easy to ride on. Our family of 7 (5 adults and 2 children) had lots of room and had a wonderful vacation. Thank you Jaime for letting us stay in your beautiful home and being available to answer any questions ❤️

Had a great, relaxing stay. We enjoyed the pool, spa, and boat! The location is safe, private, and quiet. Manatees swam right up to the dock! The host is very easy to communicate with, very quick to reply, and more than willing to help with questions. There were 3 adults and 3 teen girls, and we had more than enough space. Can’t wait to come back and visit again.

The home was perfect for our family getaway, which included 9 adults. We loved the back patio, pool, hottub and firepit. We enjoy cooking and did all of our meals at home. As a side bonus, we rented the boat for fishing and cruising the immediate area. Communication was great and Jamie made the entire check in and out process easy. Will return!

We often rent for holiday family reunions and bring our fur babies. This property was one of the best we have stayed at. There are so many amenities just as described. Jamie even had a Christmas tree with lights set up so we brought our family ornaments and decorated the tree. It was unusually cold and windy during our stay (coldest in 30 years the news reported) so we did not spend as much time outside as we normally would. We did use the hot tub and fire pit area. We had fun watching holiday movies on the huge tv and playing pool downstairs in the game room. We also walked the trails at the nearby preserve, which were dog friendly. The view of the waterway from the house was great. We could see the pelicans, blue herons and egrets fishing. The neighborhood was very nice with many holiday decorated golf carts out and about. The house is very well stocked with generous quantities of the basic kitchen and bathroom essentials. We took advantage of the pizza oven and created homemade pizzas - what fun and tasty too. We are happy to recommend this property and plan to return ourselves. 🎄

I'm tempted to leave a poor review so it will be available for us next year, but that would not be right. We had a group of 8 ages 19-86 and everyone loved this house. It has everything it says it does and Jamie is very responsive. One thing it has that I did not expect is good cookware. I brought my own pan because I scramble eggs every day but the pans at the house handled my daily eggs and cooking for a crew..

The house was great! It was just as advertised. We loved that it had everything we needed for cooking including spices. There were plenty of extra supplies such as garbage bags and toilet paper. The showers had shampoo, conditioner, and body soap even! We enjoyed the outdoor area a lot. We caught a couple small fish and quite a few lures. We didn’t have any issues during our stay. The owner was very responsive to questions and very friendly. The house is a short easy drive to lots. Thanks for a great vacation.

Our family truly enjoyed the property. The owners thought of everything and ensured that you had everything needed to have a great time. If you are looking for a great home with fantastic, comfortable bedding this is the place! We have rented at least a dozen homes and this place absolutely is the highest rated for bedding! There were ample rooms, a great kitchen with plenty of everything you need to host a large group. The wife and girls loved the toiletries! The soaps, conditioners and shampoo were a luxury! Thanks for the abundance of towels and well stocked kitchen. The only issue (and it is a small one) we recommend that the air ducts be cleaned. Outside of that, we loved the pool, dock and next time we will take advantage of the boat rental and all the amenities. For those that are staying there, be sure to hit 10th street Coffee and the Italian restaurant about a mile away off 10th. The pizza was a big hit! We made use of the outdoor bar and the upper sun room! Great place for a family gathering. Overall one of the best rentals we have stayed at and when we return to the area we will look to stay there again.

Absolutely everything you could ever hope for in a rental! Of all the amenities listed the only thing that did not work during our stay was the outdoor fire pit. They have every cooking up rice that you could ever hope for. The double kitchen and the double sets of washer and dryer certainly came in helpful with our large group and family. We only asked our post for one thing the entire time, but she replied very quick and prompt back to us.

The home was exactly as described and well stocked with everything we needed. The bikes, kayaks, ping pong, pool table, and foosball were great to have and the heated pool and hot tub were wonderful. The location is ideal in that it is very quiet and away from the busyness of other locales off of the island. Jamie was great to work with throughout the whole process. Clean pool, house could use a little remodeling and maintenance. It never said in the posting the house had stairs should be pointed out. The backyard could use a bit more maintenance. Overall it was a decent old house.

We had an amazing stay at this property. Our family made full use of the beautiful pool and spacious outdoor area, and we loved watching the local wildlife and birds throughout the day. The games room was a perfect escape for the kids, and the whole house was spotless with everything you could possibly need. The beds were really comfortable and the natural light throughout the home made it feel bright and relaxing.The location was ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet only a short drive to shops and restaurants. 10th Street Coffee was a great little find nearby. Jamie, the host, was incredibly helpful and responsive. We had a technical issue with the internet (completely outside the owner’s control), and he arranged for a technician to come out quickly, which we really appreciated.We absolutely loved our time here and would happily return.

Property is ideal for families who want to stay away from all of the activity and be close enough to go to the beach and they have all of the gear you need for any side journey. We saw an alligator every day down at Emerson Point Preserve and went kayaking. The house has everything you need and is perfect for families and adults. Thank you.
