I checked into this hotel expecting standard service, but the overall experience was very disappointing for $85 a night. When I arrived, the front desk was completely unattended. I rang the bell and waited six minutes with no response. Ironically, a young woman sitting on a bench outside smoking a cigarette saw me walk in—and a few minutes later, she walked inside to check me in. She apologized for the wait, but because she was dressed in casual clothes with no hotel uniform or identification, I had no idea she was an employee until she stepped behind the counter. Also her purse and Pop-Eyes dinner Things did not improve once I got to the room. The TV displayed a message saying "Call Front Desk" because the remote wasn't working. However, there was no telephone in the room at all. I had to Google the hotel's phone number to call the front desk, but nobody answered. I walked all the way back down to report the issue at 6:00 PM. The front desk clerk offered no apology and simply said she would call maintenance. Someone finally knocked on my door to fix it at 8:30 PM—two and a half hours later, making it completely useless by that point. The room amenities were practically non-existent: no coffee pot, no iron, and no plastic-wrapped drinking cups. The exterior of the property was also unkept, with cigarette butts littering the front entrance and a random ladder leaning against a window. The only upside to the entire stay was that it was quiet, but given the poor service.

We were removed from our room on Saturday when we returned from the beach. My daughter and husband Found a man in our room. They told me we were removed For non payment. I told her Friday night check in was not normal, didn't even get my ID or credit card thought my room was pre-paid. Was told Juanita night clerk quit. Kayla was so helpful got us another room. Found our personal items in a Bin. Our Worst experience ever. Not recommend this location. Filing complaint with Baymont corporate office.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely horrible experience. After a long day of work in Clute, Texas, I booked and prepaid for a room online because I needed a place to rest for the night. I arrived at the hotel around 8:40 p.m., completely exhausted. I provided my identification to the front desk attendant, and she looked at it multiple times before simply telling me there were no rooms available. I was shocked because I had a confirmed reservation and had already paid for it. When I asked how that was possible, she just repeated that there were no rooms. I then asked about my refund, and she said she would refund it. This left me with nowhere to stay after a long day of work, forcing me to drive all the way back home to Houston while exhausted. A confirmed, prepaid reservation should be honored, or at the very least, guests should receive a clear explanation and assistance in finding another accommodation. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would not recommend staying here based on the way my reservation was handled.

No hot water Saturday night .. No one around to get extra towels from Fire alarm went off at 530am Sunday morning No one in the lobby to say what was goin on We had to call 911 ourselves Roaches in bathtub area … Just not a very well kept property Very very dissatisfied…Will not stay there again

The hotel is run down. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was until 10:00. I went at 9 and everything was out!!! Not sure if I will stay here again.
