Best Western Padre Island

Everything was good except the parking it was hard to get in and out in a parking spot because vehicles were too close behind you to back out but overall good place

It was sufficient a little dated the cleaning crew were great disappointed the pool although it was suppose to be open at 10am many of us were told to come back at 11/11:30 the pool was still being cleaned. The kiddos wanted to go swimming before check out. Also our parking was supposed to be reimbursed and three days later and we are still waiting

Good location, pool was open but not heated. Room was pretty clean. Continental breakfast was a plus. Overall good value.

Our stay was great service on point, right on the strip easy access in and out of parking. Pool was a simple pool but well maintenance. Definitely will stay again !!

Great place to stay if you are launching your boat at Bird Island Boat Ramp. The rooms are nice and there us parking available for truck and boat trailer.

Nice place. Enjoyed the pool as our house in NH was getting snowed on.

We always stay here, they are friendly and clean. Our fur babies travel with us so it's critical they enjoy the stay as well. They get treats on check in, plenty of grass, and only a $30 pet fee.

The floors in the room weren’t cleaned very well

1st of all the woman behind the counter couldn’t count my change back to me when I paid cash for the stay, I showed her on my phone calculator what she owed me. Then she just about refused to give me any type of receipt for the $100 cash deposit (I was concerned leaving her the cash w/o a receipt just after she couldn’t determine how much she needed to give me in change. The floors in my room were gritty / sandy, the towels were replaced but the bed wasn’t made, there wasn’t any body wash / shampoo in the dispenser in the shower. Extremely noisy, people talking on their phone outside the room, people running back / forth. Very disappointed to say the least. I have stayed here many times and this was a disaster.

Rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was so so but it was free. It's a great location to several beaches and parks on the island.

Good customer service! The room was not clean at all. Dirty floors, fridge with sticky spots, furnitures and vents very dusty, a dead bug in kitchen cabinets, dark spots on sheets, and towels. AC unit very noisy all the time was on, and the air coming from there was stinky. It definitely needs maintenance. The bathroom was clean.

This was our third time on the Island, so we had something to compare it to. Location is not good. Every time you drive to the beach, you have to make a u-Turn in heavy traffic. The building is old and showing it. Cleanliness is an issue. Cobwebs above the curtains in our room. A cigarette butt was left on the stairs the whole week during our stay. Which means it was not cleaned once. Breakfast was not good, either (very few choices, eggs way oversalted, sour milk).

Room was at the farthest end of the hotel, room key didn’t wrk twice, finally give another room. Just a hassle to walk back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth after a long long day & drive,”.

Enjoyed my stay. Older two story motel where you drive up to your room on first floor. Clean, modernized/refreshed decor. Comfortable bed. Nice staff and good breakfast. I would stay here again.

We have been staying at this hotel for about 15 years throughout our time taking trips to Corpus we love the proximity of this hotel the price is a reasonable price the rooms are comfortable the air conditioning was great check in was wonderful we had a small problem with the room card there were multiple times where it was hard to get the key to respond to the lock but that was a small thing for us I just love how this hotel is close to the National Seashore. We just really enjoy this hotel and we look forward to our next day

Great staff. Had a shower that wouldn't turn off so we had to switch rooms at night. The rooms are very large n comfortable beds. TV, microwave n fridge all worked n very nice. Air-conditioning was great. The free breakfast was pretty good too. Receptionist was very happy as was breakfast lady. We'll be staying there again The seals on the front doors need replacement

Ordered a rollaway over a week before my stay and was not ready in room, mattress was like an inch thick and not set up and no pillow was given

Old motel style but clean. Nice to be able to park in front of the room.

Handy location on island for overnite stay. Loud neighbors were a bummer. Next time that probably not an issue.

The place was clean and fresh. Staff very helpful and polite. The couch was very uncomfortable and tv hard to work. There was baseboard and trim coming apart and sheetrock crumbling.

The room was really nice and clean other than the gap in the door frame when the door was closed couldn't use the deadbolt. The free breakfast area was really nice and clean and Nancy was very helpful. That was the highlight of the stay. The waffle bar was great and the biscuits and gravy were delicious 😋.

The room was great. We weren't expecting much for a budget price but it was really nice. Great shower as well.

House keeping staff was very rude and rushed us out of room. Was told by one of the staff that we need to be out of the room because check out is at 11 when the time was 10:15. It was not pleasant to be rushed out of room.

Easy check in. Friendly staff

It was a nice place waited a bit to check in no one was a front desk, then we got to our room unpacked and they knock on our door to reconnect fridge.

The only complaint is our room was given away to three different people WHILE we are in the room. Not sure how that happened but it’s frustrating to be sitting in the room chilling out and then have people trying to open your door. Not once but three times

it was a good experience, people were friendly and helpful. i stayed at a larger chain hotel the night before and even though this is an older style hotel it was a much better experience.

Property is older, but great location close to beach and restaurants.

The hotel sits by itself on a busy highway - walking to dinner is not an option. There is nothing else around. My mistake in thinking there was something to do on Padre Island. The desk clerk was very accommodating when we cancelled our extra days.

A nice hotel near restaurants & other amusements on a beautiful island.

We like the place a lot - The third year we stayed there in a row! Everything was very good except: 1) Terrible breakfast biscuits (they were cold & dry) 2) NO Internet the first night, & the staff had no clue of anything to do to fix it. It was working the second night. We'll be back next year!

We’ve stayed here numerous times always a great hotel. Attentive and pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Quiet and clean.

Tried to check in at 4pm with one lady working. There were too many people in the lobby. We had to leave and come back an hour later. The fridge seemed kind of warm in our room so I moved the dial to 4 and it bagan to leak water. I let the front desk lady know and she said sorry and asked if I'd let the cleaning people know. Which I did. I kindly asked for an older towel to pick up the puddle myself. No one fixed it the entire stay. We finally figured out you have to leave the dial at 3 for the fridge not to leak. We had no linens or extra pillow for the pull out couch and only 3 towels for our family of 5.But paid for that family suite. We sent our oldest to grab what we needed. There was a line again. Oldest did get linens and they were out of pillows so they tried stuffing a pillowcase and handed that to him. The beds are firm and stiff and pillows are worn.Every day and night we thought to take a swim there were a ton a folks there.So we never used the pool.Every morning, except the last day,my family would go at about 8:50am or 9am to have complimentary breakfast. I understand it's complimentary. Naturally there was nothing left to eat or drink. From 3am-6am the last day which was the 4th of July our neighbors were in and out of their room. Then at 6am the fire alarm went off. No of us could fall back to sleep and it went off again around 7am. So we ate breakfast at 8am that day and packed up. I will book a home instead. Lesson learned.

This hotel is a no frills hotel, very clean and the breakfast was awesome.

This is an older property that has been very well maintained. It was incredibly clean. I had a short visit with the owner as he supervised and helped housekeeping clean the rooms. The owner’s hands on supervision has resulted in a very clean friendly facility. Almost forgot, the free breakfast was very nice!
