It was ok but pool was to small

Great check in. Excellent customer service. Had no problems. Was a quick and easy procedure. Staff member made everything easy and comfortable to understand. Went to room. It stunk like a mixture of odor's. Had a strong onion body odor; with a mix of cigarettes smoke. I carry my own spray bottle to cover all odors as bad as this one was. So I sprayed room, having to work to make room have a "pleasant scent"!! Bed was comfortable. Relaxing. VERY clean. Soothing. Sheets were clean & smelled decent. Restroom was clean; tub as well. Trash can and UNDER trash can needed some attending to. They were both dirty. TV remote had an issue; needing me to attend to it, but same staff member at check-in took care of it immediately. Great TV quality. Sound proof from outside noise...including other rooms on both sides. Unfortunately, floors we VERY dirty. Like DIRTY dirty. Went to pool then showered. After 7 minutes of walking around in room, my feet were BLACK dirty. I have pictures of my feet while i was they're, but am unable to upload. HOWEVER, just to reiterate, floors were still disgustingly dirty. Maids ONLY swept. No mopping all at. After having to rewash my feet AND PUT SOCKS ON, I had to place towels thru out rooms walking area. Just to keep my feet clean. Pool was great, clean, comfortable, spacious and tranquil despit the traffic near by. Had speakers having groovy sounds on...making it semi-peaceful. Drowning out nearby construction & traffic.

Overall the room was just ok but the floor was very dirty. Bedding was fine but had cigerette burn on the cover even though the hotel is non smoking very noisey mattress/ frame, paper thin walls and ceiling can hear every step ubove and outside. Pool was ok but very small misrepresented in the pictures online. Ice machine was out of order the whole trip. Construction all over the ghetto neighborhood location. Definitely not worth the high price paid

Clean, cold air, pool is small but nice! I was able to get in and out easily and I'm in a wheelchair. Would stay here again!

Disappointed. They close the pool at 8 and don’t open it again until 10. So it gives you a very small window of using the amenities.

It was a quite place and had easy parking

The price was fair, staff nice and room clean. Did not like that the pool was empty and was not told that it was not in working condition. The area is under road construction, not the properties fault however was not mentioned ahead of booking.

First when arriving at Hotel female checking us in was not friendly. Second room was not ready and it was 1:30pm so we had to wait. Checking in clerk advise us that she would call us but never did. Came to check if room was ready at 3:45p and it took 30 minutes. Room was not clean at all roaches in the room. Little refrigator had so much ice. Microwave very unclean. Pillow was so so dirty. And we were charged a security fee of $100.00. But when we left the room was cleaner than we got it.

Not too clean, the room needed a good deep cleaning. The walls and baseboards were gross. Looks like the bare minimum was clean, but that’s it. Also the blue fuzzy blanket was stained with several random hairs all over. At least no bed bugs!

I was td they was goimg to be a $50 deposit that was going to be refundable and it's ok Omce i asroved they told me $60 ok i paid it but once we got into the room they toilet wouldn't flush properly we called front desk to let thek know we took a shower and water was not draining Once we tried to use the towels provided they had some black brown stains on them which was pretty disgusting I would definetly not be booking here again

Check in went fine. After being in the room for a little while, I moved one of the pillows on one of the beds and there was a live bed bug crawling on the bottom of the pillow. I captured it in a pill bottle. I went to the desk and the clerk said that he would notify his boss and someone would contact me in the morning. I slept in my vehicle. In the morning nobody came by to check on my room. I went to the morning clerk and she apologized for the inconvenience and called her boss. Her boss said that he could not refund my money because I had booked the room through a 3rd party (you). I was offered a 50 % discount for another night. I told her that I would never stay there again.

Clean and convenient, served our needs well.

When we arrived it was too dirty to stay

It was a quick trip but the Hotel Room was nice & Clean. Definitely one of the better ones we have stayed in. The Lobby was nice and so was the Staff.

The pictures posted on Expedia has to be when the hotel was first built lol because it no longer looks this way. The customer service was great but the room had a baddddd stitch! Even the bedding smelt bad. The wood floor wasn’t swept or mopped. However the furniture wasn’t bad for an overnight stay just the smell.

Tons of mosquitos in the room, saw 2 roaches and the restroom tub was clogged up

Nice size room and very clean and newly renovated. Comfortable bed. Just wish construction was not so bad around the area right now.

Motel area under heavy construction, I-37 frontage rd closed, so had to take alternate routes through a rough area in CC. External set-up with only two sets of stairs for 2nd fl rooms. First night OK, 2nd night a disaster with neighboring units up until 1 am with balcony heavy drinking and loud music. Would not recommend.

Everything was clean and tidy. Looked remodeled and modern. There was just a slight musty smell, or moldy smell. IDK, just not fresh. But I could not see any mold or mildew anywhere. Maybe just because of the general humidity? Still, a good value. The neighborhood - not so great.

Check-in was great. Debbie was super helpful. Tv did not work at all, just a black screen with streaks across and could not be moved to another room. Bathroom was clean but bedding was lumpy. If you’re looking to stay overnight, it’s okay for the price.

Room was clean, comfy bed, chilly environment, but I didn't like they charged me $60 upfront as a deposit and it was not available upon check out. The Lady told me it will hit my bank after 5-10 business days. I'm a foreigner, first time in America and I will be here in Corpus for around a week. That expense was not considered within my budget, because I thought I was going to get it immediately after check out according to Expedia but it did not happen. It doesn't make the experience enjoyable for first time travelers. I don't even know if I will get the full amount because my bank will charge me a fee for the international transaction. A bummer!

Had a very late check-in with no problem. Area was well lit. Bed was a bit hard for my liking, but clean.

The TV remote needed new batteries and it felt sticky and very few channels to choose from. Everything else was good.

Our room was upstairs. We did not know it was our first time staying there. The overall experience was good. We were down there for business, we took the whole family made a trip out of it and they gave us a nice room with two double beds and a couch. I folded out to bed with a mini fridge a TV with basic channels not a lot of channels though and a microwave nice size restroom nice size area, the restroom was nice and the vanity section was very spacious so overall it was a very great property centrally located to what we needed at that point of time

Good service clean room good area clean pool will be booking again soon

I made this reservation online with the intention to pay later when I arrived since I knew it would be several hours before I got there. However, shortly after booking, they attempted to charge my card for about $50. My card was locked, so the payment was declined. When I arrived at the hotel about 9 hours later, they informed me that the reservation had been canceled due to the declined payment, which seemed odd since I had specifically selected the "pay later" option. The staff said, "Oh well, we can offer you a different room for the same price," but I’d have to move to a different room the following day. At this point, it was nearly 2 AM, and the man at the front desk was polite and accommodating, so I agreed. When I walked into Room 108, the smell immediately hit me. It was awful—like a mix of stale smoke and mildew, like someone had been chain-smoking in there for days, and the air was thick and suffocating. I tried to look past it, I started to look around and noticed the microwave door was greasy with some orange stuff on it, the sink had hair in it, and the worst part: there was dirt on the bed, and the sheets had brown stains all over them. I went back to the front desk and requested a refund. I’ll never stay at a hotel that can’t even bother to clean their rooms properly. It was hands down the worst hotel I stayed at during my entire trip.

I don’t recommend staying here. The construction around the property is ridiculous bad. It was VERY DIRTY when arrived and I had a reservation so they had time to clean. Also the tub and sink were clogged and when I complained to the property manager he told me “just keep turning off the water so it can drain”. I was so confused on why he thought that was ok. So when I asked for my money back or at least half to get another hotel he then told me it wasn’t possible because the payment was complete I then told him there was a way for him to refund me my money. He then offered to come inside my hotel to fix it. That made me laugh because why not give me another room. And if there wasn’t any rooms available why not give me my money back? But overall I had to deal with it without my money back so I don’t recommend staying here.

We had to do a late check in (after midnight) and they were so accommodating. Debbie and the guy at that check me in at 2am were so nice and helpful.

This hotel is in a strategic location in the city because you won’t need to drive long getting anywhere. Staff are friendly and the place is kept neat.

Check in was smooth and easy and staff was very friendly!

The property managers were super RUDE! Both of them! And did not want to help me when first checked in. Which I didn’t understand because it’s their job but never again.

Star was nice and helpful. Hot water has no pressure so we took cold showers. They did send somebody to fix and it was fine after that. Pipes under sink leaking. Other than this, Tim was clean and comfortable. Will stay here again.

Nice place for personal business, work, or family stay. Clean with good service and easy access to downtown, aquarium, and other sights

I did not stay. I felt unsafe. There were homeless people and random people just hanging out in the parking lot and around the doors.

They require a security deposit, the reason is evident, the property is located in a rough area.

Lots of road construction and limited access to the highway.

Both night and morning front office ladies were extremely nice and the house keeper in the morning was nice enough to let us know we forgot my daughter’s pj’s. Great convenient location not too far from North Beach. Worth the price for the one night we stayed.

Great hotel just to much construction

For me it was the location. A minute to downtown corpus and 5 minutes to North Beach, exactly where I wanted to be.

Hotel was just ok. The room was nice, but no one swept so there was stuff all over the floor. The location was horrible because there was so much construction going on, and it seem to be in a very rough neighborhood. The pictures made things seem a lot better. For instance, the pool online looked a lot bigger but in person it was super tiny. I probably would not stay here again, unless it was my only option.

Sadly it’s no in the nicer looking location but the service is essential… ready like the place front desk lady where both very nice and polite. And they have free coffee for the morning… 25m to the closer beach a plus location. Att Ana j

The room was clean but the surrounding area was under construction. The property doesn't include a breakfast, which is fine but there wasn't anywhere close (walking distance) to eat. The room temperature was great and the bed was okay. Since it's a small property and my room was on the ground floor there was a lot of noise from people socializing. It was a good value but next time I'll choose something a little nicer.
