This property was a complete dump! The trim on the entry door was broken and partially blocking the doorway, the dresser drawer was broken and leaning up against the wall, the towel rods were all bent or broken. The train noise was very loud as well as noise from the traffic outside the facility. Poor lighting in the parking lot and other "travelers" hanging out on the balcony made us feel unsafe.

The property was full of seemingly undesirable people sitting out on the stairs, drinking, smoking and playing their music very loudly. I did not want to stay there much less leave my vehicle alone overnight. So we left before we even went into the room. The ratings this property had on your website were deceiving. I had the impression that the property was at least safe. And obviously that was incorrect. You need to dump this property from your website.

The price of the room was exorbitant. The bathroom was disgusting. I showered with my sandals on. The toilet was nasty and the baseboards looked like they had never been cleaned. The shampoo is worse than dish soap. The person checking in was very nice and helpful. The back of the property, which I used to walk my dogs, was terrible and trashy. I know you have no control of other patrons but a big 15 passenger van of illegals stayed in the rooms next to us making me feel very unsafe when walking outside and they are all sitting outside. Will not use in the future.

I walked into my room and was shocked. There was a large chair with the cover completely shredded. Pulled back the bed cover and the sheets were stained. Walked into the bathroom and the bottom of the tub was black. I did NOT stay!!!

I'm pretty sure this property is as good as it gets in Dalhart. Room was full of flies, so was the parking lot. Later we found out the whole town was. Property could do a better job cleaning. Dead flies and june bugs where stuck in light fixtures and corners of the floor. Sink area floor was sticky. We wore our flip flops the whole time except when we slept because we were sure the floor was filthy. Mattress on the bed was worn and sunk in the middle. Won't stay again in Dalhart. We will travel a bit farther next time. This site states that the room has a alarm clock and coffee maker. None in site. No hair dryers either.

Staff in office very nice. Quick check-in. Room clean, bed comfortable, good wifi,good cable, and good AC. Breakfast was excellent waffles,sausage, eggs,biscuits,gravy,fresh fruit,bagels,sweet rolls, yogurt, cereal,coffee and oj. Only negative were flies in the room and I'm guessing because of all the feeder lots in the area. A little traffic noise and railroad behind hotel. Would stay here again. It is an older hotel but good for an overnight stay

Because of what I had seen on some reviews, I was reluctant to book, but thought I would take a flyer. Turned out it was just fine. If you want the Hilton, go there and pay Hilton prices. The room was clean. Its roomy and the furniture is a little dated, but kept up and clean. The bed was super comfy. Had a good nights sleep. Needed to run a fan for noise buffer because of being on a busy corner. We had good wifi. . You can see they are slowly making improvements. It’s a good price point. I had no issues staying here. Good selection at breakfast. However, on the negative side. I was disappointed to find our room window was dirty, so went and asked reception for cleaning supplies and cleaned it myself. All was good! Would stay again.

breakfast was ok, but had to wait for them to replenish before we got anything. room was terrible, recliner chair was disgusting, outlet hanging out of the wall, chain missing on door, dresser was missing a drawer and 1 drawer had no handle,chair by table was so rickety we didn't dare use it. i read a poor review that had pictures, must have been the same room and everything was still the same or worse. my worst stay at a hotel in 30+ years of traveling. shame on them.

The room was great for the price, the big problem is you cannot sleep due to the railroad trains passing by every couple hours. There is a crossing right at the hotel the trains are required to blow the horn!!

We just needed a place to stay for the night. Hotel was an older hotel but was clean! The experience turned horrid by the man working the front desk. He raised his voice, yelled at me and told me the price I got online would not even pay for the electricity. I did not request a first floor room when we booked as I was just so tired, did not even think about it. I am handicapped and there is no way I could walk up the stairs. He wanted to charge me more for a first floor room. Let me also say the hotel was half full so it really did not matter what room we had. He also threatened to just cancel my rez. I ask him, you want to charge me more for a room because I am Handicapped and I said I would Be sure to include that in my review. Maybe I should not have said that but he was so rude to me and I was so tired (it was close to 11pm) I also asked him Not to yell at me and to not talk with such disrespect. I texted my husband to please come inside as I was very uncomfortable and this man seemed very unstable. My husband walked in and the man changed his attitude. The next morning the manager was working the front desk and I relayed my experience from The night before. The manager was unfazed and just said I am sorry. No corrective action was discussed or mentioned. Had the hotel done ANYTHING to make a wrong a right, I would not be writing this review. DO NOT STAY HERE! The front desk staff is aggressive and scary!

Arrived to check in with 4 guests ahead of me while we all waited for clerk to return with a soda to resume her duties. No apparent employees on the premises. Rang bell, knocked on office door, even called the phone (voicemail). Pathetic service to endure the feedlot smell that is Dalhart. Then something bit me in bed. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Well I had to switch rooms. The attendant was very rude. He charged me more for the room than what the initial payment was supposed to be. He also refused to give the military discount because he said we’re already getting a still in the room because we went through a third-party. I don’t understand why they offer the military discount if they don’t intend to apply it. Just a very rude attendant. If they don’t like their job, they should switch it.

Great Mexican restaurant next door, good coffee across the street, bed was fine, access was fine, just kinda dirty, bathroom has issues, fine for a quick grab some sleep and move on down the road.

The room was great for the price, the big problem is you cannot sleep due to the railroad trains passing by every couple hours. There is a crossing right at the hotel the trains are required to blow the horn!!

Located in the middle of Dalhart. There is surely a traffic noise as it is located on the sides of a busy intersection and there's a railway track behind the property. Breakfast was good though and so was the hotel staff. Check-in was easy and quick and staff was able to help you with your queries.

The staff was very nice room was clean and breakfast was very good biscuit and gravy cereal and waffles and few other things all worth eating. Good people.

breakfast was ok, but had to wait for them to replenish before we got anything. room was terrible, recliner chair was disgusting, outlet hanging out of the wall, chain missing on door, dresser was missing a drawer and 1 drawer had no handle,chair by table was so rickety we didn't dare use it. i read a poor review that had pictures, must have been the same room and everything was still the same or worse. my worst stay at a hotel in 30+ years of traveling. shame on them.

The only issue we had was the shower knob wouldn't turn on. Otherwise, the room was nice, cool, and quiet within walking distance of several small eateries. Attentive staff and very good breakfast set up in the office area.

Our first room had tape around the shower head, large burn marks on the furniture, a door that had a gap around it, and a heater that kept blowing the breaker ( it was 20 degrees outside and quite windy.) The room was on the 2nd floor and it shook anytime someone walked on it. As we know about construction, that was scary. We moved to a room with heat. I thought it was cleaner but my socks got really dirty and the sheet stunk like they had been used by a dirty person. The breakfast had coffee like mud, packaged pastries, corn flakes, and yogurt. There was no one refilling anything so if you didn't there early, you are out of luck. I typically do not write reviews but I felt like you should have a warning.

Staff in office very nice. Quick check-in. Room clean, bed comfortable, good wifi,good cable, and good AC. Breakfast was excellent waffles,sausage, eggs,biscuits,gravy,fresh fruit,bagels,sweet rolls, yogurt, cereal,coffee and oj. Only negative were flies in the room and I'm guessing because of all the feeder lots in the area. A little traffic noise and railroad behind hotel. Would stay here again. It is an older hotel but good for an overnight stay

The property was a bit run down and dirty looking. There was a group of men sitting and drinking cases of beer in front of the motel rooms ( evidenced by all the cans , cartons and trash they left on the walkway ) . I would like to think people expect it would be quiet when they rent a room , not having to listen to loud partying outside your window. My room was clean , with exception of the floors. Cobwebs in corners.. bed was neat and clean and bathroom had a great count to linens .

It was basic, but for the money, it was adequate. Paint throughout and some clean up of outdoor spaces would make it a bit more appealing. No coffeemaker in room which has come to be expected at most accommodations. Breakfast was “meh.”

Dalhart itself has large population of flies so beware (nothing against the hotel). Had three rooms and each room came with at least two flies ;). Otherwise, it was a great place to stop for the night.
