Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Eagle Pass

Well, first thing we see when we arrived the pool was green. The pump was broken, but they were working on it. Next the lobby AC was not working. The lady took forever to check us in. The room was okay except the tub and shower curtain looked disgusting. Luckily we were only there for one night.

I like the beds! Pool is never clean or ready no matter the season

Although there was construction at pool area, everything was very nice.

Pool was green, sheets and pillows were dirty had to buy my own.

The door frames need to be fixed there was evidence the door had been kicked in there was not plate for the dead bolt just a big hole in the door frame. Very disappointing especially when the property manager said all the door frames are like that. Looked like some people were actually living there property needed maintenance and trash pick up. Can send photos.

I checked into this hotel and checked out 5 minutes later. The pool water was green. The property landscape was overgrown with weeds. The door frame on the room door was damaged and had a big gap. I went to the front desk and checked out. No refund was given.

The front office lady was to slow to check in people and the pool was to dirty and was no WiFi at all.

Slipped and fell on a banana peel outside in front area and reported but Management had no intent of making an incident report or even ask if I was ok. Had to go back and tell them peel was still outside so they could clean and avoid further incidents. Pool was dirty.

The parking area in front of the room had 2 ft tall weeks growing in the concrete cracks and trash strewn. The TV, lamp, phone and alarm clock didn’t work. They did bring a new TV. The maintenance guy asked my husband for a screw driver to install the feet on the TV. The internet didn’t work and the manager said they had been hacked and didn’t know how to fix it. The carpet was filthy, there was trash behind the nightstand, and a dirty sock on the balcony. The area around the pool was nasty. Breakfast was a pieces of bread and a few packaged rolls. All this for $125!

Friendly staff but a very furty pool.

The room was literally full of roaches. Arrived late night to the hotel and no more options available at that area.

The property is kept very clean the rooms are fully stocked with all the necessities. I do wish the complimentary breakfast was a bit better but still you can’t beat it for the price. I had previously came a week prior and was impressed the way they received us so amicable but this time around unfortunately maybe they were having a bad day they were rude. Still my place to come is here.

We had excellent service from start to finish of our stay. From receptionist to room service and breakfast. The room was very clean and smelled amazing. We will be using this hotel for all our future trips from now on.

It was just filthy. Stained and dirty bathtub and the shower curtain as really dirty, floors by the sink are looked like there was urine on some spots. The pillows were smelly.

The room very clean, tub was clean but when they removed matt it left stain . The front desk employees were very friendly.

I found some roaches

The room definitely needed cleaning. It was dirty around the bed and even found change (1 nickel and 2 pennies to be exact) right by the bed. Bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned except for adding toiletries, clean trash bags and toilet paper. Floor hadn’t been mopped or vacuumed. Counters and blow dryer had toothpaste stains from previous guests.

They don’t have internet

No wifi. Hard beds.

It was okay but to much noice at night. Staff are friendly

The TV channels were very limited. Especially for the kids unless you speak and understand Spanish... Which we don't.

Rooms could be cleaner and bathroom could use some work. Overall for the price I paid I didn't expect much more. I just needed a place to sleep and I definitely heard the workers that were staying there also making all kinds of noise early in the morning. I would stay again if I'm in the area.

At the time of check-in, we were told that the internet in the room is not working, They don't have internet service for the past 2 months or so. We were also told that the remote control device for TV was not working. We wished they had told us about this well in advance, we would not come back to stay here any more.

The TV was not working. The floor molding was missing and in conclusion the property needed a complete makeover!!!!

The parking area in front of the room had 2 ft tall weeks growing in the concrete cracks and trash strewn. The TV, lamp, phone and alarm clock didn’t work. They did bring a new TV. The maintenance guy asked my husband for a screw driver to install the feet on the TV. The internet didn’t work and the manager said they had been hacked and didn’t know how to fix it. The carpet was filthy, there was trash behind the nightstand, and a dirty sock on the balcony. The area around the pool was nasty. Breakfast was a pieces of bread and a few packaged rolls. All this for $125!

It was the only hotel with availability for reservation so I ended up giving it a try . Well the first room I got was not even cleaned it was dirty. Went to the front desk they were eating and looked upset because I went to let them know . Yes they did change me to another room it was cleaned thank god but there was a loud noise coming from above so I went back to the front desk and again they looked bothered so they ended it switching me to the 3rd room which was okay but until the night to sleep it was too much noise the construction guys were staying in the same side and had their loud music at night while people are trying to sleep and being loud shouting at each other . Typical guys who don’t respect others but anywho the following day was the same thing restless night with all the noise . The room needed way more attention missing base boards the bathroom wall was dirty I’m assuming it was like dried up blood carpets were stained tissue box was empty but still there mini fridge was dirty . Even the trash outside was way too full . If fellow travelers can book elsewhere Do It don’t hesitate to book at this location save your coins and go somewhere were they going to welcome you and not stare at you like you are an inconvenience to them

When we got to the room it was dirty the air was not working the bathroom was dirtyI went back to the front desk to cancel my stay the staff and the manager were very rude they charge my card twice tjey said that I would get my refund with in 7 to 10 days that is not right. We had to come back home we did not have a good trip. I am very disappointed. We got home at 3 in the morning

Christine and her team were great. They did their best to accomodate me with last minute changes and needs, I left my ID in the front office and went to my room to return it. Friendly from beginning to end. I felt safe at all times. I knew they would be there for me.

Bathroom had roaches and shower curtain was filthy. Never was my choice of place to stay but it was a last minute trip and a lot of hotels we’re completely sold out. Worst place ever! Manager was really unprofessional. He had his wife answering the phone lines from the lobby and she was yelling customers information back and forth to him. Go elsewhere for your buck.

The lady at the front , was SO NICE ANS WONDERFUL, I appreciate that so much. Great costumer service !!! Will stay again for sure !

Customer service , the guy at the front desk talks too much! He had people in line and wants to talk about his life to everyone. It took more then an hour to check me in.

Had an enjoyable visit with my good friends. This was our second time back.Beds were very comfortable and clean. The room was very roomy. The owner and her son were very friendly and helpful. Limited continental breakfast. Will probably return again.

Beds were OK, very clean. Very old furniture and lamps. Liked hard floors instead of carpet. Liked it had micro and small fridge. Very few towels but had enough. Commode was very clean, appeared to be new, however, bathroom tub was dirty or very stained. We didn't use it! Comfortable temperature with window unit control. Door was hard to open and close. Continental breakfast was very limited. Pool looked clean but the property was not well kept, had loose ends here and there. The gentleman at the front desk, who was doing everything, was great. He was nice, friendly and courteous!

No breakfast setup

Bad sheets all wrinkled. Shower head not working. No ice bucket. Spiders in bathroom. Breakfast old Mexican cookies, jello hard is if old. Coffee tasty nasty. Parking area dirty…boxes and old mops scattered about…..over all very disgusting.
