Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Fort Stockton by IHG

Very strange, but I could not get a room as a walk-in. Person at check-in gave a contusing explanation about the computer. Was told that I could get a room by reserving on the internet. I did that standing right there. Stay was very nice: clean room, quiet, liked the cookies offered in the lobby, breakfast was very good, reakfast hostess was delightful. Did not like the temporary charging my card for incidentals. Money was returned to my account the next day. Overall a very nice stay.

Easy check-in. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Good A/C, Lsrge room. Good lighting. Fresh fruit at breakfast & typical self serve breakfast with choices. Quick check out. Open parking with no incidents. Walmart & two named pizza drive ups & gas station & K-Bob’s with-in a few blocks across street.

Stayed while driving through. Hotel needs some repairs but not major enough to affect a good night's sleep for passing through and cost was not expensive. Didn't get to try the breakfast.

Spacious suite. Plenty if room for the whole family. The bathroom was huge. Water was very hot and I liked the Dove soap dispensers that are environmentally conscious. Beds were soft and pillows were comfy, not too soft or overfilled.

It was clean and the staff was nice. The shower barely put out any water and the pool smelled like a wet dog.
