Breakfast stated on the website was not what was served. We ended up paying to go eat at a restaurant. Miniature golf was not maintained several things cracked or broken. Web gave impression pool had slides. It was not up to its competitors at similar prices. Would not recommend.

Had a great stay! Walking distance to the Waterpark. Breakfast was cereal, fruit, muffins and coffee. Would have loved some waffles or eggs but that’s ok! The putt golf was fun and kids loved it! The lady on staff during the day was friendly and helpful! Answered all my questions!

covered parking was really nice in the building that doesn't allow pets. It was very efficient. The hotel staff was wonderful. The breakfast is just to grab and go so no real protein It would be nice to have at least cream cheese and peanut butter we would definitely stay a game. The value is amazing. It's not walkable distance from the beach really though it does sit next to a waterpark but you don't get any discounts. It has putt golf, which is nice and their own little pool and they did a good job keeping everything really clean no weird smells or anything like that.

Inn is nice. Room had great AC. My only complaint was the upkeep of things. Elevator area was dated and seemed unsafe. Putt-putt was in TERRIBLE shape. Turf is so tore up you can barely play. They only had orange balls so playing with the family was interesting. That was a major draw for staying there and it very much disappointed. Staff was very friendly. Inn was very quiet. No other complaints

Hotel is currently on the market so operating with minimal amenities. Pool & miniature golf were not accessible and a part of the structure is out of service from a previous fire. The room was spacious and clean and the staff went out of their way to address my needs. Location is primo for visitors to Moody Gardens or the Water Park.

It was an ok place to stay. There were roaches all over the place in the room. We killed about 5 of them before giving up. We slept with the lights on in hopes of deterring more. We just needed a place to lay our heads and it was ok for what it was worth.

One of the beds in my room had blood stains on the sheets. The room was hot even though the ac unit said 68. There was a funny smell to the room. Like dampness and old paint. The electrical plugs did not work so we could not charge our cellphones. The “continental breakfast” was a joke. The worse I have ever had.

Breakfast was minimal, sheets and blankets were stained with blood, bed was broken, I had to sleep on the couch. AC leaks outside make sidewalks slick, drips from 2nd floor make steps hard to walk down. Tried to complain but no one in office. The one guy who checked me in and out was very nice.

Overall a Decent Stay, but with Room for Improvement We chose Inn at the Waterpark primarily for its value on Expedia and its convenient location near the Gulf and Galveston attractions. While we didn’t experience any major issues during our 6-day stay, there were several concerns worth noting. The property itself felt safe and quiet, and the staff were consistently friendly and responsive when we reached out. However, a few maintenance and cleanliness issues did detract from the overall experience. We observed visible mold in several areas, including the ice machine on the third floor, inside our room’s air conditioning unit, and parts of the bathroom. On the one day we turned the heat on due to a chill in the room, a strong smoke-like odor was emitted, possibly from melted blue scent beads or air freshener which was visible in the system. Housekeeping did not automatically service our room during the week, we had to request it when we wanted it cleaned. While staff responded promptly to those requests, it would’ve been nice to have a more proactive approach to cleanliness throughout the property. In summary, the stay was quiet, budget-friendly (approximately $130 per night), and the staff was kind, but improvements in sanitation and upkeep, especially regarding mold and ventilation, would greatly enhance the guest experience.

The parking was tight. Hard to get in and out. Housekeeping was good but the building itself needs serious updates. Room smelled like it used to be a smoking room. Font desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room was very clean and neat. Minimal low quality toiletries. Beds were full, not Queen so that was a not very good nights sleep. Staff was great. The biggest problem we had was the room they put us in was on the “2nd” floor, which was actually the third. No elevator in this building so we all had to lump our luggage up two flights of stairs. Hotel was not full at all, so I don’t know why they couldn’t have put us ground level or in the building with the elevator.

I stayed at the Inn at the Water Park in 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. So when we decided to do a 1-night stay in Galveston, I booked a room! I stayed in a new section of the hotel on the second floor. Biggest complaint I have is that there is absolutely no sound proofing between the floors. I was awaken at 4:45am by our upstairs neighbors running and jumping on their bed, and it lasted until at least 7am. They woke up my 7yr old up as well... Normally I wouldn't care, but we left our 4-week old with the grandparents for the first time on this trip. This was my one night to get a full 8-hrs of uninterrupted sleep. So as all parents can imagine, I was a pretty irritated. Still overall, we enjoyed our stay and the staff/rooms were as expected. Would probably go back but would insist on an accommodation on the top floor.

We have two service dogs and the front desk wanted to argue about the law and demanded us to pay for one of our dogs saying she is an emotional support dog and we have to pay $100. ruined our weekend. I will be contacting the owner and the state about this!!!

Room was not ready for occupancy until 5:00 PM after we had reservations for several days in advance. We arrived at 3:00 and had to wait. We had reserved two rooms and even though the occupancy rate was very low our rooms were on different floors and very far apart.

The office staff were great. Friendly and helpful. Room was big with a kitchen area. Will definitely stay there again. We parked our car there for 12 days while we were on a cruise. It was very reasonable. We caught a shuttle to the ship and back for a very reasonable price. Sure beat the $279.00 price to park at the dock.

Had a great stay! Walking distance to the Waterpark. Breakfast was cereal, fruit, muffins and coffee. Would have loved some waffles or eggs but that’s ok! The putt golf was fun and kids loved it! The lady on staff during the day was friendly and helpful! Answered all my questions!

We were there to go to Schlitterbahn. This hotel is right by the water park parking lot. It was an easy walk. We didn’t have to pay for parking, we didn’t need an Uber, AND we were all able to enjoy the swim-up bar. The rooms are big and exceptionally clean. It’s a quick drive to the beach, downtown, or the cruise terminal. We absolutely plan to return. FYI - the water park allows wagons, small ice chests, and outside food / nonalcoholic beverages.

It was a great stay for the price. We had all we needed. The breakfast was great and getting pancakes instead of waffles was a nice surprise. The choices were good and I enjoyed the coffee. I would definitely stay again especially since they have extra amenities like putt putt.

Very convenient location to Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn. Property is a bit dated but looks like remodeling being done presently. Beds were pretty comfortable. Breakfast was limited (no hot food besides small pancakes) and only lasted until 9:30 on the weekends. Room was quite big. Overall, good value for price.

Overall this was a great stay the staff was friendly the room was clean and quiet and comfortable the continental breakfast was very lacking especially when you have quests the can’t eat bread. Maybe add some eggs and a meat even the traditional waffles would have been nice. The parking is lacking it’s hard to park large vehicles under the garage area. Over all if stay again and look forward to seeing the rebuilt areas.

The property is very old with no updates. The toilet broke, all rusted , there was mold in shower, pool was not assessable, and both card quit working. Breakfast is a continental on the go. It was a great disappointment for our stay.

I had a very good experience with this location; I was here for just one night before the cruise we were headed on the following day. Very basic hotel but really had a cute rustic feel to it. I can't comment on the breakfast because I missed it by 10 minutes, but I definitely liked the staff, specifically D'Marcus. He was so friendly and kind and held a great conversation. I mentioned to him that the hotel was great, but the mosquito problem was out of control. Sadly, we told him that we could not even go out and play on the mini golf because of them. I mentioned to him that I thought it would be SUPER DUPER wise of the management to sell mosquito repellent cans and/or mosquito repellent wipes. This is a HUGE additional revenue opportunity for them and trust me, I would have bought some !!!!

The room was spacious, and cool. The staff wasn’t the greatest help when checking in at night. The mini golf area was flooded while we stayed so we didn’t get to use it. The breakfast was just cereal. And the stairs to get to the top levels could use some maintance, they were missing chunks of concrete.
