Our stay at casa Del Mar was great. It is a close walk to the beach as well as some fast food dining options and grocery. The view was great and the room was comfortable for our family of 4. However, the pools were both warm (like bath water) and the elevator was extremely slow. We also stayed on the side closest to 61st street and the road noise was a bit much— we tolerated it but it is something that could possibly bother other people. Overall, we would stay at Casa Del Mar again.

We came for an Anniversary trip and the stay at Casa Del Mar was perfect for our get away. Rooms were clean and spacious. You can fit up to 6 people. Bed was a little too on the soft side but comfortable. Quiet. Convenient to restaurants, supermarkets and of course the beach. Checking in was easy and plenty of parking. Just know there is a fee for parking. Will come back.

Great place to stay. We loved our beach-style room. The hotel is so convenient for everything. The rooms were clean and comfy. The pool was great, but no hot tub. Staff was friendly and helpful, will stay here again.

Stayed for a week with a 7 year old and a 1 year old. Great location. Clean. 2 awesome and very clean pools. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Definitely recommend. Not a single negative thing to report. If you are looking for a family friendly hotel with great pools and great location this should be your place!

Definitely not a 4 star hotel but also not priced like one! The heated pool was AMAZING!!! Hottub really wasn't "hot" at all but that was OK with us. So close to lots of great places to eat, shop, drink and of course THE BEACH! The room was perfect for our family of 4. The queen size bed was super comfortable with great pillows! The balcony was fabulous - we sat out there every night and morning. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Galveston.

If you are on the east side of the complex facing road its extremely loud from crazy drivers on the street. Other than that pools are great and convenient. Plenty of covered parking which is important for us.

The property was very nice and well maintained. Dislike: The pools were always crowded and there was construction in the apartment right next to us. It was very loud starting at 9:00 am. Luckily they finished early enough in the day.

Great location: walk across the street is the beach, and a lot of convenient stores, restaurants, and coffee places nearby. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only shortcoming is the room is old. With the reasonable price, it is not surprising the interior is outdated. But the smell of old and humidity is a big issue. I don't think it is very hard to fix that.

Decent property and good value for a room with a beach view. The room had a slight musty smell and some wear and tear but overall no issues. The lobby is closed from 10:00p.m. To 7:00a.m. So if you need something overnight you will have to wait. When we did call for clean towels they came immediately. For the price of this Hotel on the beach compared to others I would stay here again.

Casa Del Mar was a great place to stay. The property was spotless, it was decorated beautifully and there was plenty of room for the four of us. If we're ever in the Galveston Beach area again, we will definitely stay here.

I guess this is my 4th time staying on this place, It is right in front of the beach, the room was very clean and had everything needed if you want to stay a few days and make your own meals, the pools are a good plus. I definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay with our grandchildren. The place was clean and friendly. My Mom was even pleased and that's saying a lot! We will definitely be back.

The room is not very big, but you have everything you need. The area can become quite noisy after hours if kids are in the area. The central parking area which splits the two rows of buildings in half become an echo chamber.

Galveston is a wonderful place. This property is in amazing spot right on the beach road and right across from Babe Beach. On the downside, the property is very very dated! The units are very small and everything about the suite is OLD. The room was tiny, the bunk beds are incredibly small and the living room/kitchen is completely unusable if the sofa bed is folded out. Location- AWESOME Suite- Not worth the price they charge I wouldn’t stay here again

Overall, the property was nice and clean. Good for families too. The 1 bedroom was small but could sleep up to 6 people. The only problem I found was air circulation in in the bedroom was lacking and I got hot mist of the night. Maybe a ceiling fan would help with that issue. I would stay again if the opportunity presented itself.

The location of the hotel was great. The main bed was super nice, just don’t plan to sleep on the pull out couch. That was my bed and it was all springs!

My kids loved the bunkbeds. Room was a little tight. No paper towels, no dish sponges and not enough bath towels. Partial beach view, photo was zoomed in.

Stayed for the week with husband and kids for spring break. Definitely needs updating, but overall was a comfortable room. Did not see the staff. Room was never cleaned, never saw the room cleaners. Had to go to the front office for towels as there weren’t any separate pool towels available, only shower towels.

Check in was ridiculous. Apparently, the clerk could not read. He told us he did not have our reservation. After wasting over 20 min trying to rectify the issue with Hotels.com, another agent found the reservation instantly. It was there all along. Condo was very small and not all that comfortable. However, it was clean.

Front desk staff were very friendly and inviting. Other staff offered to help with l luggage. Property and home was clean and comfortable. Even though it was a partial view of the beach, it was still a very big view, in a great location. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, friendly staff, cute decor and functional kitchen. The property was very appropriately depicted in the photos on Hotels.com. The manager reached out by phone prior to arrival to confirm our stay and to explain the after hours check in procedure. Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. We are already planning our next stay!

Nice and clean small condo w bunk beds. Just an easy walk across the road at the light to get to the beach. Plenty to do in the area. My only issue is listing says check in by 11pm.but elsewhere it says front desk is only open to 10pm.i sent a message asking for clarification, but never heard back. So I had a tight schedule getting there by 10pm to error on the safe side after working that morning in Dallas Fort Worth area.

Our key broke as we were entering our unit. The staff wasted no time placing us in another room. Also, this has to be the most convenient place on the strip. We were in walking distance of multiple restaurants and the beach with a pier was literally right across the street. We are already planning our next stay there.

Ac went out, Libby was closed. Maintenance couldn’t figure it out. Later found out he was security. We had to sleep in the heat with the balcony open. They didn’t offer to move us.

We did have a disturbance in the parking lot and an incessant car alarm but those were not the fault of the hotel. The room was pretty awesome but all rooms except those facing the bay will have a very sunny balcony either in the morning or evening. Not much bay view on the rooms facing the main parking area. View is blocked by the other hotel building. Traffic is very busy at this intersection most times during the day so accessing the parking lot or street going east is difficult. Very beach and pier accessable. The beach is literally right across the street. There were lots of folks that were fishing and others going to the beach with kids.

View is blocked by the other hotel building. Traffic is very busy at this intersection most times during the day so accessing the parking lot or street going east is difficult. Very beach and pier accessable. The beach is literally right across the street. There were lots of folks that were fishing and others going to the beach with kids.

We choose Casa Del Mar year after year. It is a comfortable stay with a close walk across the Seawall to the pier for fishing and beach access. It has a very at home feel and the staff have always been attentive and friendly. Looking forward to our next trip!

Very convenient location in Galveston to be right on the beach. We stayed the night before a cruise and it was perfect. We could walk to Krogers to get snacks and drinks before our ride picked us up to take to the pier. It would be ideal if you are staying in Galveston as it’s right across the street from the beach.

The room was clean, it was comfortable and it worked for us. I liked that the property was not in the middle of the busiest part of the seawall. It was quiet and felt safe and within walking distance of convenient store, fastfood, restaurant and beach.

the place was great. Had a little kitchen and plenty of space for all of us. Pool was open and it was right across the street from the beach. There were plenty of restaurants in the area.

Check in staff not friendly. Seemed annoyed by my check in. Didnt know where my info was. Had to get someone else. Otherwise fine. Very small space!! It would be nice if they had onsite restaurant. Also, gym would be helpful.

I loved this property! Kitchenette, pool, across from a coffee bar/Pier/bar, surrounded by restaurants, and a Walmart on 1 side and a Kroger on the opposite.

Loved this place. Very clean and cozy. Loved the decor and loved the view. Ahhh and loved the location. Close to restaurants shopping and a quick walk to the beach. I will definitely book my future stays right here.

It was an amazing stay...love sitting on balcony watching sunset. Room was clean and relaxing. Beach was right across the road for anytime u wanna to go.

When checking in the front desk said 3 people were booked for the same condo. Had to call the company to get sorted out. Someone had smoked in a non smoking room and had to pay for parking.

No visible person to check in with or talk to at the property. Our unit was clean out the hallways and property itself was not. It stunk of musty damp carpet. Also, the main issue was that there is a window in the main bedroom that faces the hallway and only had a curtain for privacy. We had to stack pillows around the window for privacy and to keep the lights out. Would not recommend.

Hallway in the room is super narrow. Great view of ocean. Instructions for departure do not match up with what they would like. On instructions it says to leave keys with lobby. After taking them over to the lobby, security said you are to leave them in lockbox in your room. Pool was really dirty one evening, so instead of opening pool at 9am we had to wait another hour.
