Not clean, pool looked very yucky (green’ish, felt slimy, dirty floor), drawers kept opening on their own (dresser and night stand), shower was not clean, pictures did not accurately depict what was there. Ceiling looked a bit scary, very stained from old water leaks. Staff was very friendly.

I had read in the Hotels.com description that this hotel's airport shuttle was available upon request, but it only operates until 3 p.m. I had to take a taxi that ended up costing over 50 USD for a 11 min drive to the hotel! If I had known, I would have payed for a more expensive hotel that offers airport shuttle service all day. Other than that, the hotel was ok, but their shuttle service is limited, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and they don't have the intention of changing it. They told me they recommend calling the hotel directly before booking to make sure the shuttle is available at the time of arrival and departure.

They don't have a shuttle. So calculate the expense of a taxi. Pool was "closed for cleaning" our entire stay. The pullout bed was disgusting and in need of replacement. The room needs a dehumidifier - not sure if it was just our room, the floor, or everywhere. Area not safe to walk - not in terms of crime, but location is right off highway.

The property was nice. The service was good. The breakfast was good. Only drawback the pool was inoperative. My grandkids were so looking forward to swimming in the pool. Next time hopefully it will be open.

Very out dated. The hotel smelt like cigarette smoke covered up by atrong febreze. We asked for an extra pillow and were declined. The pool was verry outdated and not well maintained. We did not let our kids swim in the pool. The shuttle to the airport does not run until 7am which does not help if you have an early flight. Beds were okay. Overall there are better hotels for this price.

Nice little indoor pool, convenient to airport (no shuttle) breakfast was biscuits and gravy every day. I wanted some bacon or sausage! And more fruit selections. I was satisfied with the level of cleanliness

Mold in room , roaches, when asked staff to come do housekeeping all that was done was new towels put in restroom no cleaning whatsoever when we checked in the previous people who stayed in the rooms hair was in the bed and hair ties were all around the room. An attempt to upkeep the building’s cleanliness was apparent but the building itself is very old. Something was leaking from the a/c unit, which made the carpet wet. The room smelled moldy. Furniture was old; the couch and chair in the living room was stained. Overall, the business was quiet and smelled clean. I didn’t see any bugs but I also didn’t pull the blankets back to sleep in the bed. Felt like I was in a motel. Likely will not stay there again.

Not what I was expecting - just ok. We waited a while at the front desk when checking before someone showed up. Although room was clean, it does need some updating as there are stains in the furniture and carpet. Hotel is right off the highway but highway traffic noise didn't really affect our stay which was a good thing and a mall is very close to the hotel which was nice.

I love that the front desk clerk was friendly and attempted to accommodate the best she could. The room i booked wasn't available due to busted pipes. The 1st room she gave me smelled like an ashtray. I went back down. She offered another room. It wasn't the best, but it was clean. Everything is clean and works well just dated. I booked mainly to relax. They need digital smart TVs. They have analog Tvs. I wasn't able to stream anything. I booked the weekend. I checked out the next day. Overall staff was great. This location needs a renovation specifically since its close to the airport. Oh the plus an indoor pool we didn't get to use.

The rooms are very dated and old. The TV is analog and doesn’t get good reception and only a couple of channels . However, the mattress is comfortable and the rooms are nice and big. I think I was given an upgraded room to a suite when I checked in. The staff go above and beyond to help. All in all, it wasn’t too bad. Just an older property that needs some upgrading.

I was alerted at check in that there was no hot water. I asked to cancel my reservation and refund the room I prepaid for and the manager did not allow his staff to cancel and refund. They also tried calling him numerous times and he was not answering their calls or texts. Escalated to Expedia to get me a refund.

Got in really late. Staff at front counter wasn’t the friendliest and Seemed annoyed we got there late. Room had a weird mildewy smell. Sheets were too small for the bed and kept coming off the dirty mattress. Best part was the breakfast. Surprisingly very good!

The staff was absolutely accommodating and so friendly. They made you feel right at home. Mary, Melanie and Taryn (hope I spelled that right), helped check me in and helped me change rooms over a minor mishap. So incredibly sweet!

We checked in at 2:30, at 6:00 my kids went to shower and there was no hot water. I called to the desk and was told the heater has been broken since early afternoon. Was told the plumber is on site working on it and it will be fixed shortly. As of noon the next day it still was not fixed. At 6;00 I walked the outside of the hotel and saw absolutely no sign of a plumber. I asked the staff if I could see the plumber and was told no. They were continuing to check people in and not telling no one the hotel had no hot water. The staff lied to Expedia when they called as well. Management refused to speak to me as well. Expedia did basically nothing as well and offered us a $30 voucher. A new hotel with hot water is what should have been offered.

Our room key didn’t work. The evening staff girl reprogrammed the key and it still didn’t work. We bought a room with 2 queen beds originally and since they had none left she gave us a king with a pull out couch. Pull out couches are not usually comfortable. So we were a bit let down but we still had a place to stay. Even the next morning our room keys wouldn’t work on our door. I think they have an issue with room keys since we went through 3 rooms before we could get in and still had an issue the next day. Thankfully we were only there for one night. But the girl that worked the evening shift was so nice and did everything she could in her power to accommodate us.

Reasonable place to stay and handy to airport area. Was clean and comfortable. Staff were good, but check in was a bit painful as the reception guy was struggling with a new system. Overall a good hotel.

Location was great. Large mall (Deerbrook) with tons of food and shopping less than 5mins drive away. Was too hot to walk so can't say walking distance. First room we were given the door couldn't be properly shut. They gave us a new one without any query. Rooms and corridors need renovating, but cleaning seems to happen round the clock which was great. Beds were comfy, all the amenities you need including body wash, hair dryer, microwave, fridge, tea and coffee, TV in bedroom and living space. Nice big windows but lots of traffic noise at night. Breakfast also good, varied and filling. Really enjoyed the stay.

Very convenient location for travelling to the airport. There was a mall and many restaurants within walking distance. They were also very accommodating for us as we arrived much earlier than check in time and even gave us a ride to the mall! However, it is right next to the highway so it’s pretty loud there!

Perfectly adequate for a one night stay on a rushed trip. The milk at the breakfast counter was sour, but the staff immediately corrected it. Breakfast bar limited with hot food, bur sufficient for a quick coffee and muffin. We reserved one room with two beds for my adult son and me but were told there were none available when we checked in. Staff did find one for us, and we had a good night's rest. I do recommend it for urgent travel. A longer, more leisurely vacationer would want more amenities. Thank you.

Got in really late. Staff at front counter wasn’t the friendliest and Seemed annoyed we got there late. Room had a weird mildewy smell. Sheets were too small for the bed and kept coming off the dirty mattress. Best part was the breakfast. Surprisingly very good!

I rented 2 rooms for the 5 of us. Everyone had a nice stay, plenty of room. And the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I am not much of a breakfast eater, but this hotel had an amazing breakfast both Saturday and Sunday. I opted for the yogurt and blueberry muffin. My son had the Texas shaped waffles, and my husband and mother inlaw said the eggs, biscuits, and sausage links were all delicious.

I used to know a woman who worked at this hotel but it had been many years since I had been there. The lobby wasn’t how I remembered it but it was clear the hotel was being remodeled. However, it was also clear nothing had been done on level 2 where my room was. My room was very old. Though I had two TVs in my room they reminded me of TVs that existed in 2010. I could not get closed captioning to work on either one. I can’t imagine how a guest who is legally deaf would feel. This is the first hotel in Houston where I have experienced this problem. I wanted to do a load of laundry while staying there but I gave up after learning the only way to start a load of wash or dry is with a specific app. However, the laundry room is isolated and my cellphone reception was poor. My backup plan? A new Washateria opened in Porter and not only is it 24 hours, they have free dryers.

I only gave this hotel 4 stars because it is under renovations. The rooms was great. One of the rooms i stayed in did not have a trashcan, which I'm sure was just an oversight. I wasn't able to enjoy breakfast only because I checked really early. When in Humble this will be my go to hotel. Each room I was in was like a mini apartment without the stove. The bedroom was separate from the living room and the sofa let's out into a bed. Which if you are traveling with kids it's great because there are 2 televisions.
