Boardwalk Inn

The Inn was beautiful and comfortable. The pool was a delight while listening to the live band. Bed was comfortable and AC worked great. Staff were pleasant and private parking in the garage was convenient. Will be coming back again.

Very Nice Hotel, but it just wasn't for me. The front desk was poorly manned. The hot tub jets did not work, although the hot tub was warm. No coffee in the lobby or information. I like to make a bigger cup. Had to pay for any extras. During the week many things were not open, such as ice cream. I had a construction view, so it wasn't as aesthetic as I would have liked.

Such a pretty hotel and do nice and smelled so good and it was very clean! The pool was nice too!

Always like to stay here when we're in the Kemah area. Nice big rooms, clean, nice pool and hot tub. Quiet even though there's always a lot going on outside on the boardwalk. Covered parking is a bonus!

Amazing location- free parking- super convenient to all attractions

Staying in August by the coast I wanted to get some sun. The pool was CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE THE WHOLE TIME! Maybe Expedia could verify details like that before letting somebody book a summer vacation and hoping to swim. I would like a refund.

All rooms have a view of the water. If you like boardwalk activity, this is the place. It is right downstairs. Parking is comped in the attached garage, which is a definite plus. No bellman but carts are available. Dining choices are abundant and within walking distance.

Overall a good experience with the exception of the pool being closed for several days. Very clean property.

Located in an amusement park on the boardwalk. Very nice clean area, but as expected was noisy. The Inn itself is very nice with clean spacious rooms. Parking was abundant with outside and in an adjacent parking garage which was complementary if staying in the Inn.

The hotel was so clean and nice.. The rooms even smelled brand new!! Convenient location!! Just a lot of construction happening outside the balcony but other than that it was amazing!!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The slats on the windows do let light in. The rain against the balcony door allowed water to seep in and make the carpet wet. The bath tub was ok, the pull to enable the shower did not allow you to fully pull it up. Staff was friendly and we would probably stay again

The hotel was nice and staff were helpful ! But I found trash under the night stand in the room i was staying! Also the coffee maker wasn’t clean and i saw sunflower seeds inside coffee maker!

We were in town on our way to Galveston. The ease of finding the hotel was good and the check in was flawless. Great atmosphere. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel has a strong mold smell in both the lobby and in the room. The bathroom ventilation was poor. Only 10 channels on the tv. Was a tad disappointed for the price spent.

Beautiful property with great views and lots of options for dining and entertainment. Rooms are big with comfy beds, spacious bathrooms and great balconies.

Location! Location! Location! Right in the middle of it all. Make sure you’re ok with live music and some really great people watching. Our balcony overlooked the stage, shops, and restaurants so it was quite lively each night until 10p on the nose. This wasnt a big deal for me and my son. The staff was friendly and the hotel is bright and beautifully decorated and close to Fantasea boat ride, amusement park, and food. We also did Nasa and that was a short 20 min ride away. The only negative is I would recommend shower shoes. I felt like I was back at camp with rusty drains and tile grout that needed refinishing. I didnt love that but the countertop and sink were perfectly fine. All in all I’d recommend but giving those more discriminating a little heads up to not expect to soak in the bathtub here. Oh and parking was complimentary the two days we were there but bc we didnt have a ticket when we enter the parking garage, upon departure we couldnt get out until we called for help via the ticketing gate at the exit. The hotel should maybe provide some instruction for departing parking garage without a ticket. There was a couple other cars that were obviously confused as well on how to exit

If you want to be on the boardwalk, this is the place. We found it too loud. The train was definitely in the room with us. The room was comfortable other than that.

Such a clean and authentic hotel. I love the sailor feel it gave off. Only thing is that the tv had one channel loll and there wasn’t any 3rd party tv apps so we were pretty bored in the room.

Rooms were really nice, clean, spacious, and great view from the balcony to the stage. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud.

The convience and hotel were awesome. Only problem was the king bed was so firm and uncomfortable. Thought was just me but my wife also had very hard time sleeping. The beds need major upgrade. Also room was over 300 a night and no microwave??

Location was awesome. Definitely an older building with needed upgrades. 2 things I’d change in the room, more channels on tv or get smart tvs, need black out curtains.

Vibes are really nice at night and the staff was friendly and our room was clean and ready to go accordingly. Was a really nice aesthetic hotel, however the Wi-Fi was spotty and didn’t have a strong enough connection so the TV kept cutting out. There was no microwave in our room and one of our mirrors in the bathroom did not light up like it was supposed to.

Holly at the front desk was exceptional! She was very cordial, helpful and professional.

The hotel was fine, parking was easy and we were able to check in a little early. The young man that checked us in was very nice and accommodating. Our room seemed clean and spacious. There was an issue with the fire alarm around 12:45 a.m. it went off twice and scared the soup out of my granddaughter and myself. Not really knowing what to do, I called the front desk and was told they were working on it. The young woman that checked us out the next morning could use a lesson on the hospitality business. She didn’t ask how our stay was or apologize to us for being startled out of bed at 12:45 a.m. by the fire alarm, even after I told her it scared us.

First, I like to point out that the hotel is clean and nice in many ways. The ambiance is nice. However, I am a person that has no problem to spend the money for a nice hotel with nice rooms. This hotel is priced around the $300 mark per night and I would consider it at best a 3-star hotel. The reason for that is that the hotel is understaffed and with less than qualified people. At the very least, training is badly needed. I can say that from a level of experience as I stay in 4-5 star hotels about 300 nights a year for business travel. With this hotel, I took my wife on a weekend trip to Kemah. When we checked in, there was very little information supplied about the hotel. For example, we were told to hang a green tag on the mirror in the car to park in the parking building attached for the security to see. But they forgot to mentioned that there was a designated place to park for hotel guests. This became an issue later when we tried to find a parking lot on Saturday and Sunday evening and couldn't find one. We overheard in the hotel another couple talking about a designated area.... We asked the front desk and they said...oh yes, there is a place.... !!! They forgot to tell us that there is a pool and internet access available. We heard the front desk telling another guest. So we again asked the front desk why we were not made aware of it when checking in... no answer, just a deer-in-the-headlight look. The beds were uncomfortable. The 2nd night, the AC broke down!!!!

We got here before check in so the staff did a pre check in for us. We rode some rides and 45 mins later, we got a text saying they had given us a comp upgraded view and our room was ready! Amazing experience and amazing staff!!!

The train bell was broken and was going all night long. Couldn’t sleep. Called front desk. No answer.

Wonderful property. The staff were super friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The location is marvelous, especially if you wake up early enough to watch the sunrise.

The property is the only on-site Boardwalk location so it was extremely convenient. We loved the comfortable king bed. The ease of parking made the entire weekend stress-free. The staff was very attentive and informative. We will definitely stay again.

The hotel sits right on the boardwalk. Its surrounded by restaurants and rollercoasters. The hotel's location is convenient for a quick trip to Houston and Galveston Island. The hotel staff exhibited great customer service.

We arrived on a Sunday, which was great. On Monday most shops were closed. Was advised there that Mondays and Tuesdays are the slowest days so most shops are closed. Wednesday thru Sunday would be best to travel to that location.

The hotel was clean and right on the boardwalk. Our room had a balcony and we could listen to live music all day Sat. The room itself was well maintained, bed was comfortable. It took a minute to get the AC right, but it was still very comfortable. There were several shops/restaurants within walking distance.

I'm so glad we picked the Kemah Inn. Our balcony looked right to the stage for the concert. Parking was EASY!

It was Ok, but Kemah boardwalk closes all shops so there really is nothing to do unless you drive. I won’t stay there again. That’s a lot of money on a hotel that offers nothing for its customers.

There is no nice restaurant open for breakfast in the property area. They closed the only restaurant that serve breakfast - The Flying Dutchman.

The hotel was nice, no breakfast option, you have to request room service AND hotels keep raising their check in times, this one was a 4 O'clock check in ! Check out has never changed, still 11AM.... how about a 4 PM checkout . As a family we used to take small get aways every 3rd weekend, stay a day or two in a different city in Texas but between added on state/city taxes, LATER check in times, reduced services.... What's next 10 PM check in 7AM check out ?

Nice property. Check-in was easy and the front desk people were very welcoming. The rooms were clean and inviting. we enjoyed having a balcony. It’s right on the boardwalk, which surprisingly the boardwalk is kept clean. The only thing I would gig them on is no courtesy breakfast of any kind. There’s a restaurant on site but did not offer room service. We did not eat there and we did not check out the pricing. it was a nice overnight stay. We had two rooms, six of us. I thought it was kind of pricey….

Lovely place to stay on Kemah boardwalk. Room was comfortable and clean. It also had a nice balcony and there was free parking. Very close to several places to eat. It would have been great if they also did breakfast

There was a “rule” that you could not bring any outside food into the hotel!! We were with our young grandchildren. How could we not have snacks for them? They even have a refrigerator in each room. Why if food is not allowed. The hotel doesn’t provide a breakfast, continental or a restaurant. Yes there are restaurants nearby but seriously, it’s hard to pack up little kids and take them out early when a simple kids breakfast in the room would be so much better. Everything else about the hotel seemed fine. It’s a little dated and needs updating in the rooms, but it was comfortable. A little noisy outside our window until late but not terrible.

Just wish you had a restaurant there for room service. Other than that it was perfect

I liked how all the shopping places amusement park right on site food restaurants right on site watching the sailboats go by absolutely must stay there again
