Motel 6-Lewisville, TX - Medical City

This motel is located in a decent area with a convenient access point off the interstate, which is why I originally booked it. From the outside, it appears fine, but the issues become apparent as soon as you enter. The pictures online do not reflect what you encounter upon arrival. The staff seemed clueless. I was first given a room on the third floor that reeked of marijuana. The second room I received was musty, dusty, and in poor condition. The floor was sticky, peeling, and coming loose. The duvet cover had a cigarette burn and stains that looked like blood. The towels were hard and stained, and both the shower and tub had rust stains. Throughout the hotel, there was a pervasive smell of cigarettes or marijuana. Additionally, there were homeless individuals in the lobby and lingering outside. Although the hotel advertises itself as smoke-free, this claim cannot be true. There are also no-loitering signs that seem to be ignored. After witnessing all of this, my party and I decided to go across the street for coffee. When we returned, we handed in our keys because we did not feel safe and chose to book elsewhere. Do. Not. Stay. Here.

Cleaning the parking lot area up some wouldn’t hurt. Front office staff is good though.

Worst hotel ever. The room was very hot as the floor unit was completely off and it was a heavy smoke smell in room 213 that was supposed to be non smoking. The bed covers were stained the bed was lumpy the bathtub wasn’t the cleanest and the decor looked like a 1970s hotel that hadn’t been updated. Both trash cans in hallway were over run with smelly trash and it’s a franchise not corporate owned motel 6. I refused to stay so I checked out immediately and went to the corporate owned motel 6 at 35 and corporate drive in Lewisville and it was 1000 times better. The parking lot needs replacing and there were 3 homeless people sitting next to the back door. Only good thing about this place is the front desk attendant was pleasant.

There was a stain on the wail in my room that appeared to be blood. They apparently have long term residents who live there. There was a constant smell of marijuana.

This hotel is in definite need of an upgrade!! The mold and mildew smell instantly hit us after we got off the elevator on the 3rd floor! The floors were in bad shape in the room! The air conditioner was outdated but worked okay I guess. The parking lot had trash everywhere. I will never book here again!!

Roaches in the room. Urine smell in the stairs wells. Attendant was nice. Won't stay here though.

People loitered in the parking lot at night, the back security door was broken so anyone could walk in, and the A/C barely worked, making the bed so hot my husband slept on the floor. Called the front desk for a room change—was told it would be handled—but no one ever came and my follow-up calls went unanswered. No shampoo or conditioner provided. I will never stay here again and strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Hallway smelled like weed. When I was showering the tub had a yellow stain in it or what o thought was a yellow stain because the next day it was cleaned up. Shower was pee stained. Too many people hanging outside in the lots

Toilet area I’m guessing, was leaking on the floor, there as a tick on the shower curtain, and saw 2 roaches when my friend walked into the room. Got this room for my friend coming in town and booked this spot since my family stayed here a few months ago and loved it, but this visit wasn’t the best for someone coming out of town to stay there.

Roaches, one bar of soap, walls were covered in some sticky substance and black fingerprints, bathroom vent hanging out of wall, smoke-free room was not smoke free. Entire hotel smelled like cigarettes.

Room had an odd, dirty sheets hair all over the bathroom floor! Towels dirty

The room was so dirty. A total lack of cleanliness and disinfection

The room wasn’t perfect but it could’ve been better. The room was not properly cleaned and had bugs. The shower head didn’t work and the hallways reaked of weed and cigarettes. The person working at the desk was very friendly and helpful at check-in.

Bugs. On the walls floors and in the bed. Water leaking from the ceiling. Id like a refund.

My rooms always smells like cigarette smoke The room had black mold on the wall in the bathroom.

Hotel itself smelled of cigarettes and weed. There was blood on a comforter, pills under the bed, dog barking in the hotel hallway all night, no soap or shampoo in the room.

Found some roaches in the room

This place was exactly what it was needed for, clean comfortable bed, shower and toilet where all properly functioning and the A/C kept me comfortable during sleep. The building is old and has its quirks but I still recommend if all you need is a comfortable bed and nice hot shower this is perfect!

Service was very friendly and even changed my room with no issue when one room a/c wasn’t working

Worst stay of my life A/C barely worked,bed sheets had cigarette burns in a non smoking room. Tryied to speak with the front desk and they just completely didn’t care asked could I be compensated and said strictly no,firmly seeking refund

The room was old, the pillows are to soft to say it was a pillow the room stayed cold the room was rough. A dog barked all night in the room next to us, at 3 people were outside our door yelling and laughing banging on walls. You get what you pay for but that was still to much money.

Close to restaurants

Room was clean, staff was helpfull, and hotel is in good location close to food places.

An excellent place and very central to the areas I needed to go to.

Due to road construction the area is hard to enter if you don’t know the surrounding area.
