Stayed one night while visiting Krause Springs. Beds were comfy, sheets were clean. Plenty of towels for my group. Breakfast was ok. Pool was murky. Pool side walls and floor need to be power washed. Water needs to be treated with shock or something. Location it self was good for us. Never felt unsafe.

We booked this hotel last minute via orbitz and check in was smooth. Front desk guy was nice. We traveled with a dog and their pet fee is super reasonable. $10 per night which is wonderful. Hotel room itself was clean. Loved the hardwood style floors. I wouldn’t say this hotel is “pet friendly” as there is no area for you to let your dog go to the bathroom except for a grassy area on the Main Street that is really part of whataburger. The one complaint I have is that the parking lot and the adjacent whataburger lot are super gross and dirty and trash was everywhere. It made the hotel feel sketchy. I’m not sure if people live in this hotel as well, but lots of people were out front of their doors just hanging out on the stoops. That combined with the trash and gross parking lot made the hotel feel a lot less nice that it could feel.

The breakfast spread was really complete and the staff were friendly. However, they did not have covered in like Peach Tree Inn, which was inconvenient when it started hailing. Also, the turn into the property was hectic and difficult to enter since the traffic outside is very busy. Overall the room was comfortable and the stay was great.

It is a very old property and it shows. Everything was clean and staff was freindly. Kinda interesting with a tailgate in the parkinglot, grilling and drinkink. And bunches of guys lining second floor walkway on their desk chairs and smoking (rooms are smoke free).

The first thing I noticed and appreciated was a nice cold, clean room! That is exactly what we were looking for after a full day of Texas summer baseball. The employees were extremely nice and helpful. The pool was perfect for our baseball team. Just like our rooms, the pool was clean and it was very refreshing! I'd recommend this place to anyone!

The inn was very dated, likely early 1960's. While the rooms were relatively clean, everything was very dated, and the window AC unit was very very loud. The staff was friendly, the breakfast "OK" at best. No fitness room, the pool had debris in it so we decided not to use it.

AC dripped water for the 2 nights we were there. The ice machine was not working properly - the breakfast was terrible. Specially the egg- I might have gotten sick to It- the pool was nasty!!! We cleaned it ourselves. I always stay at a quality in and this was the worst!! The smell in room was of wetness. There is much more I could say but why bother

The staff was all very friendly. But the state of our room was terrible. It was as if someone just made the bed in the room and that was all. The sheets didn’t even look to be changed. The pull out mattress and king bed both had blood on the sheets, there was trash and leaves on the floor as if it wasn’t vacuumed or swept, the bathtub was dirty, there was bugs in the bathroom all over the floor and the pull out bed had mold on it. There was blood on the walls in the bathroom I could go on and on with how dirty this place was. We used to stay here all the time and the rooms were decent but it’s a motel now and we won’t be back.

The hotel around a Disney's a power wash and cleaned up it's a really nice motel, just needs a nice update. The room is really nice the bathroom is really nice. And as a read mini reviews over and over, the floors are just nasty dirty like they haven't been mopped forever I mean you cannot walk barefoot you get back in bed you have to wash your feet I mean that's there's no excuse for that. And then breakfast I was very shocked the breakfast is like super nice is it any most any motel has it has a little bit of everything breakfast was a nice surprise. But just update clean it up a little bit and mop the freaking floor

Once in a while a place needs a deep cleaning. The room appears clean initially. However, if you walk barefoot in the house like I do, you would feel that the floor is dirty. The walls and baseboards need a wipe down. On the positive side, the lady at front desk is very friendly, beds are comfortable.

Floors weren’t clean, water bottle from previous stay left in floor, freezer wasn’t cleaned out prior to our stay so it melted a nasty liquid on everything we put in it. Other than that, this place was okay. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was not very clean when we checked in as there was stuff on the bathroom floor from previous renters, the sheets were not changed the next day after the cleaning crew came through, the key cards were only setup for one day so after a long day off-roading I had to go get keys made to get in my room, and the mattresses were so thin, it was a an absolute horrendous nites sleep. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I didn't like that we had specifically asked for a room downstairs because of my handicapped child,yet they gave us an upstairs and when I asked for an exchange they were booked-the lady didn't check her computer or even bat an eyelash just said she was booked, which I found a bit unprofessional.

I was charged for the room twice, and now I need to wait until the second charge falls off my card. This made our trip very inconvenient. Even though the room was clean, there were so many people just hanging around outside their rooms that it made you feel unsafe. The noise was also all night long with people coming and going. The Air conditioner was also very loud in the room.

Stayed overnight after having dinner at a nearby restaurant/bar, then a training in an adjacent town the next day. Location was ideal for me and the place was clean, maintained, and the breakfast layout in the morning was a good bonus. The next time my training rolls around, I’d stay here again.

Stayed overnight after having dinner at a nearby restaurant/bar, then a training in an adjacent town the next day. Location was ideal for me and the place was clean, maintained, and the breakfast layout in the morning was a good bonus. The next time my training rolls around, I’d stay here again.

The property has been upgraded, but there are a few things that still could be replaced in the bathrooms - hair dryer was barely operational - which I reported to the front desk. I like the new flooring in the rooms and bedding. If you are a Whataburger fan you are in luck - right across the parking lot! Short drive to the Historic District, which I visited twice. I used this as my base to go to a couple of state parks for hiking and it was great!

Overall, a clean room and amenities. The photos online do not show that it’s a motel in the center of town (thought it was a hotel). Don’t recommend for young females traveling alone since it made my girlfriend feel uncomfortable by how many men stay at this specific location.

The room was updated and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was not good. I tried the scrambled eggs, the biscuit very hard, sausage had a strange smell and color to it; had to toss them out. Ended up with coffee and instant oatmeal.

The room was really clean. The staff at front desk, breakfast, and cleaning was excellent. Great pillows. Wish they would update toilets. They are so low, it’s difficult for elderly people. I would like to see liquid soap. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Breakfast was excellent.

AC dripped water for the 2 nights we were there. The ice machine was not working properly - the breakfast was terrible. Specially the egg- I might have gotten sick to It- the pool was nasty!!! We cleaned it ourselves. I always stay at a quality in and this was the worst!! The smell in room was of wetness. There is much more I could say but why bother

During the reservation, we requested handicap accessible with 2 queen beds. When we arrived, Joseph, a Manager at the property, was distracted and seemed in a hurry to get us out of the lobby. We asked about the accessibility of the room. He stated that the only handicap accessible room was a king room and was booked well in advance. I asked if another hotel could accommodate us better. Joseph denied that any other motel was available. We checked in and went to the room. When we got there, it was not accessible at all. The commode was very low and difficult to manage as well as the room was filthy. The sheets were dirty and there were stains on the curtains, chair, lamp and shade. There was dirt and grime in all crevices in the bathroom and the towels in there were dusty. We called back up to the front desk to see if there was another room we could move to. Joseph stated that he could not move us due to being full. We decided to go to bed because it was late. The next day, we went to the front desk to request the room be cleaned to Joseph. Jeff, the other manager, was around the front desk as well. Joseph agreed to clean the room and again denied that another motel could accommodate us. He stated that the room would be done by 3. We came back to the room at 4:30. The room was still the way we left it. I went to the front desk. The lady working was very nice and apologetic. She messaged her manager, Jeff, and he told her it wouldn't be cleaned until the next day.
