The elevator has been broken twice and I had to downgrade my room the first time so I didn't have to take the stairs with toddler. The second time I chose to take the 3rd story room so I didn't have to downgrade again. Management should fix this

Hot tub and pool were closed due to a pipe breaking months ago and they claimed they called a plumber for repair but "they were all too busy". Room was ok. Ac unit was very loud and often times sounded like it was going to rattle off the wall. Had a weird bug crawling on the wall near the bed, above the lamp, that we had killed. Shower was hot and has good pressure but tub was very slippery and did not have a mat. Breakfast was terrible across the board. Had to go out for breakfast the rest of our stay.

I like the location for easy access to the highway. However, the fact that the elevator was broken and I had to carry big bags up to the second floor without help was annoying. I spent 5 days and no elevator throughout!

The elevator was out of order and nobody notified that it happened and no rooms on first floor available. We arrived late evening and didn't have time to make changes in our reservation. Very poor customer service.

The suite was clean and comfortable. We had a lot space. The bathroom was average. Breakfast was good. I didn't like their mini pillows. The elevator was broken during our stay and we had to use the stairs. The stairs could use some updating , the carpet felt uneven. The pool was only open from 10 am to 10 pm . When we did get to enjoy the pool area ,the hot tub was NOT hot at all .

We stayed here due to proximity to the highway and my brother's house, and even though it was conveniently located, we would never stay here again. The elevator didn't work, so we had to use the (hot) stairs to get to/from the 3rd floor the entire week we were there. (The guy at the front desk indicated it would be fixed in a day or two...it was not.) The tub had hair in it (before we used it) and was obviously not cleaned well. The ceiling/roof leaked into our room during a rainstorm. We could see damage from previous leaks, and the chair and floor were VERY wet, yet when we told the guy at the front desk about the leak as we were checking out, he denied that there was any sort of leak. Really disappointing experience.

Pretty disappointed with the cleanliness. The floors needed to be vacuumed in the room, the lamp shades had a bunch of gross food smears on them, the couch had some kind of nasty smear of something (probably food, but i didn't want to get close enough to find out) The beddind was the cleanest thing in the room thank God. Beds were comfortable so no complaints there. The elevator was broke during our entire stay, so we had to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs with luggage which was not expected.

Property was not clean. Our room had a live roach on the dresser which scurried away when we turned on the light. There was a dead bug in the bed. We only stayed because it was a late check in and we couldn’t find another place to relocate. We arrived close to midnight and left by 7AM. I will never stay at a Best Western again.

The bathroom in the room was not clean and not properly stocked. The refrigerator did not work. They brought in a new one, and claimed it worked, but it didn’t. Turned out there was an electrical issue and we had to plug it into a different outlet. We got locked out of our room right before checkout trying to load the car. The staff seemed mostly irritated that they had to help at all. The exception was the woman who checked us in. She was extremely friendly.

Check in was easy and efficient. Air conditioner was nice and cool but the couch and chairs were so dirty. I don’t know what substance was left on them. Disgusting we covered them with left with sheets that were spares. Will not stay there again. Poole is very small.

Our room was spacious and had a microwave and refrigerator. Very little lighting so room is dark. Not sure if all bathroom tubs are like our room but it was very slippery despite the rubber strips on the floor of the tub. We were on the second floor and could hear the footsteps in the room above us until late at night and very very early morning making it difficult to sleep. Breakfast was complimentary in our stay however on day #2 of our stay breakfast was all gone by 8:20 am so we had to go find elsewhere. The staff is friendly and the hotel is clean and wifi works well.

We've stayed here twice now. The rooms are clean and comfy and it's a quiet stay. The hotel was to capacity because we were the ones to get the last room of the night yet we didn't have any trouble with it being noisy in the hallway. We did have trouble with that at another hotel where there seemed to be constant noise in the hallway and was woken up several times in one night. Not a problem here at all. Breakfast is pretty good. Lot of fruit, cereal, bakery items (lots of options for vegetarians). The staff was professional and the gentleman at the reception even offered us a bit of a discount for being repeat customers which was much appreciated. Thank you so much! Will not doubt staying here again.

Staff was very nice. Rooms were nice but showing some age. Not as clean as we would like around the edges but not bad. Beds were so high that the 4’11 wife had to climb in. Breakfast good also, definitely missing healthier options. No fruits we could find . No non-dairy options at all. Overall it’s nice

The hotel looked brand new and smelled so nice! We fiund out there's air fresheners in every room? The room was spacious and the beds very comfy. I especially liked the location. The breakfast looked great too! The only issue we had waa that the coffee machine didn't work in our room.

Check in was quick, hotel grounds were nice. The mini-suite booked was comfortable, though felt a bit cramped. For example, one of the queen beds was right up against the A/C unit. When the sofa bed was pulled out, it was up against the desk so that the desk chair had to be moved. Other than that, it was a cozy room.

I checked out and left a backpack containing my work laptop. An hour later the hotel called and told me that I left a bag behind. I was sure that I didn't but I was wrong. Fortunately I was only a few miles away and was able to return and get my forgotten bag.

after calling the location prior to booking i was told an early check in was available for an extra fee..drove 2 in a half hours to be told by a manager they do NOT do that! I then had to wait until 2pm to check in due to rooms not being cleaned. I slept in my truck for 3 hours and proceeded to wait in their lobby for an additional 3 hours! i will NEVER book this hotel ever again!!

The owners refused to allow my husband to check in while I was in dental surgery AND REFUSED to give us a refund. I called BEFORE booking and was told that we would not have any problem. THEY LIED and kept our money!!!!

We were on our way home to houston when stopped here for overnight. the hotel itself, breakfast and facilities were above average. We happen to left my son's rain jacket that my wife called to request to have it mailed to us. Manager Kareem help facilitate our request and we are so grateful!

We had a great stay here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had many choices. The coffee machine had a variety of flavors, including regular. Our room was a nice size. Very clean and comfortable. We were there 7 nights and enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had many choices. The coffee machine had a variety of flavors, including regular. Our room was a nice size. Very clean and comfortable. We were there 7 nights and enjoyed our stay.

Getting to this place was interesting the first time. You have to turn and go down the alley. Room was nice. Couldn’t get TV to find any channels. Elevator was not working while we were there but we were on the first floor so not an issue. It was a nice place and we would go again. Breakfast was ok.

Under new Mgmnt, property has improved. It doesn’t negate its vulnerable location, & for me personally, I disliked that the bathrooms weren’t updated/very clean, that few services on property are available- It’s definitely okay in a pinch! Don’t misunderstand. But as a traveler to/out of area for medical purposes/treatment, it’s not my 1st choice. So long as fine w/ a lackluster refrigerator, driving to get needed items/meals—it’s def a fine property, & lower priced than some competitors.

The location was very convenient for us. The area had many shopping and eating options within minutes. Check in was smooth and the attendant was very polite and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, room was clean and QUIET! Some hotels seem like the wallpaper is the barrier, not here. We didn't hear anything and with the room darkening shades, we got a really good nights sleep. The hot breakfast was impressive - LOVE the Texas waffle maker! Area was clean and well stocked. Although the weather was on the chilly side, the outdoor pool was open and clean. We did not use it. Overall I was very happy with my choice at Best Western Plus, McKinney TX. I would definitely stay there again on future visits.

We stayed here for volleyball. The elevator wasn't working and we were on the third floor. Wife has bad knees so it was hard to get up and down. Breakfast was non existent at 8:15a. No where to sit. Definitely won't be staying here ever again.

After a 5 day stay we extended our time so we could see friends & visit family longer on this trip to McKinney, that’s how pleased we were staying in this hotel a few days longer. Breakfast is availble daily, and you can choose from a variety of fruits, cereals, and there’s scrambled eggs with bacon/ham or sausage, waffles, yogurt, muffins, bagels, etc. there’s also plenty of coffee choices as well as juices availble.

The air conditioner was extremely loud and woke me up every night. I had requested a room that was not on the ground floor, but that’s where they booked me, with the parking lot right outside my window. Room was dirty and not taken care of. The sheets and comforters had multiple stains on them. We noticed the room had mouse droppings a day into our trip. Front desk manager was not helpful. Refused to give a refund for our last night. Will not be using this hotel for trips in the future.

My wife and I stayed here for 8 days and nights, and we were completely satisfied wit the hotel. The rooms were clean, everything worked, and the breakfast buffet was really good. We had no complaints, and if we visit McKinney again, we would definitely be willing to stay at this hotel.
