The room felt dirty and the carpet was ripped as was the chair. Nightstand drawer wouldn't close and there was unpainted trim above the curtains. We stayed here last year and the same elevator is still broken. Do better!

1st of all only 1 working slow elevator. 2nd a dirty wash cloth was left on the shower rod. 3 electrical outlet was in horrible condition amd 4th the mirror above the sink was barely hanging on the wall. For the price paid was very disappointed

Property is well kept. Location was convenient. The staff was friendly. The stay was pretty much spoiled by the excessively loud ice machine that was in constant use from 6:00 am until we checked out at 8:00 am on Sunday morning. That combined with a text message at 7:30 am telling us that late checkout requests would not be honored which was immediate followed by the housekeeping staff knocking on doors and loudly yelling "Housekeeping" while speaking loudly in the hallway would cause me to stay somewhere else next time where they actually allow you to sleep.

The stay was pretty much spoiled by the excessively loud ice machine that was in constant use from 6:00 am until we checked out at 8:00 am on Sunday morning. That combined with a text message at 7:30 am telling us that late checkout requests would not be honored which was immediate followed by the housekeeping staff knocking on doors and loudly yelling "Housekeeping" while speaking loudly in the hallway would cause me to stay somewhere else next time where they actually allow you to sleep.

I don't need my hotel room to be fancy, just clean. This one wasn't. The floors were visibly dirty. There was something sticky all over the top of the dresser. Neither the sink nor the tub drained properly and I was shin deep in dirty water by the end of my shower. The sheets were visibly stained. At breakfast they ran out of eggs early and I heard a woman complaining about how many eggs people were eating and she wasn't going to bring out any more a half hour before breakfast ended. The young woman at the front desk was nice. Would not stay here again.

I come there once a month to visit my Son for the weekend. We were watching a movie the first evening and watched roaches crawl up wall behind television. Then as we got ready for bed and i pulled off comforter, i noticed what i thought was pizza sauce. Ugh.I complained and they said they couldn't switch my room and offered no compensation. Very disappointed with the whole situation. I definitely will never booked with them again.

It was fine except sheets had stains and there were ants in the bed. Bath spout was coming off the wall because the caulking was bad. Bed also seemed broken it kept making a thumping sound when I moved a tiny bit.

THEY HAVE MICE!! 🚨 Long story short, we called down to the desk at 3am on day 2. We spotted the mouse behind the tv stand, the receptionist was not alarmed at all, as if she already knew. She stated she couldn't come up due to being the only one at the desk. After packing up our bags trying to avoid the mouse, we got down to the desk to check out but had to wait for the receptionist 10 minutes to return from somewhere. The receptionist said the manager would call in the morning....Never received a call or an apology. Still being respectful to the receptionist even after having our night disturbed, having the mouse crawling onto our belongings, and our food literally eaten, we remained respectful. They may have offered another room but the receptionist never even made eye contact. There was absolutely no understanding or empathy for the inconvenience. My fiance booked through Expedia only receiving a 49 dollar refund! We are aiming to get a FULL refund. The mouse was in a second floor room. I RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY. We noticed after getting into the room that we started sneezing, coughing and shortness of breath due to asthma and allergies. But we didnt realize where it was coming from until after seeing the mouse.

Should be named LaRoach Motel literally but the staff was nice and accommodating once I made them aware of the situation. Next room wasn’t any better as far as cleanliness with a ceiling that looked wet and like asbestos on it…. Just a very unsettling experience to say the least.

Very pleased with the size of the junior suite room and the door separating the bedroom from sitting room. The negative was the beds were against the elevator wall - Scrambled eggs were cold.

Mattress was terrible. Worst night of sleep I’ve had in years. Could feel and hear the springs in the mattress when I moved. Visually, you could see there was something wrong, it didn’t lay flat. I am a small woman and slept alone on a king size bed but was miserable. Rest of the stay was fine but won’t come back for the terrible night of sleep.

The stay was ok . The tv remote didn’t work and we had to go get batteries for it . Then the volume button didn’t work . The bed is very uncomfortable and the pillows are terrible. The room was clean and staff was very nice .

Overall, I’d stay again, but the beds are not comfortable. We’re staying one night, so it’s fine. Also, the beds are on metal box frames, so every move we make, it makes a popping noise. Thought this was no pets, but dog barking on the 2nd floor along with people being extremely loud in their rooms. Check in was super easy though and rooms were pretty clean. Our duvet had a few stains, which gives the ick, but hopefully it’s been washed and it just can’t be removed.

The hotel allows dogs, we heard some barking but that's not the hotels fault. The bed was lumpy and hard. The room was big and spacious, but the sink area was very small, hard to get ready. Housekeeping and the front desk were very friendly.

This is an excellent hotel. The toilet in our first room had a faulty flush, and the desk changed us seamlessly to a room a few doors down. Then I had an embarrassing emergency -- an otherwise unnoticed rash on my skin opened up and bled a little on the bedding. The desk sent up a complete change of linen with kindness and sympathy. I wish I had the name of that excellent desk clerk, who genuinely cared (she was on duty on the morning of July 10). The breakfast is FAB (eggs and sausage, plus other stuff), and is operated by a sweet, thoughtful person named Dee. We even met a few dogs! La Quintas are pet-friendly. We really appreciated our stay here. Thank you.

We stayed here for two nights and had a great experience. The hotel has excellent facilities—everything was clean and comfortable. It’s located in a great area, with restaurants, shops, and other attractions all within walking distance, which made it very convenient for us. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly and always willing to assist us with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended—would definitely stay here again!

Staff -Halah was wonderful! Our booking had been made on Hotels.com. Our plans changed and we needed to leave a day early. We chose this property for the convinience of surgery center and size. We arrived after 9pm, tired from a long day/drive, front desk clerk seemed half asleep and bored. Got to our room, very outdated but with all the necessary items, the bedroom air conditioner wasnt working, the phone was barely working, my sister called front desk and nothing happened, no one came. I had to make a 2nd call and front desk shows up. He's not a tech, tech wont come out at that time. I was offered a smaller room or wait til morning. We chose to wait. We asked for extra pillows as i was having surgery early the next morning but he never brought them up. So my sister went down around 2am to get some and was told no by a different woman now in front desk. She basically said, "you can have pillows in the morning, not now". The beds are cheap and uncomfortable. I cant comment on breakfast bevause i didnt eat from their buffett. The place is ghetto, run by ghetto people. I would never stay here again or recommend to anyone.

Gave someone else our room while we were in it and they woke us up trying to get in then the front desk came and knocked 30 min later telling me to open the door and woke us up a second time. No apology.

It was in a great area. Everything was very convenient and I especially like I was very, very close to the mall. Only steps away really enjoy that. Because I have my granddaughters and that was perfect for them.

Very reasonably priced for a motel in this area. They cover the basics very well. The motel is adjacent to a major Chesterfield, VA mall. You can walk to the mall in five minutes, which has restaurants. Additionally, there are a number of fast food and sit-down restaurant very close by.

Hotel worked well for weekend soccer tournament. Location was convenient to fields and restaurants/shopping was convenient and accessible. Front desk was great and ms Dee did a great job with breakfast every morning- made sure everything was stocked and clean. Room was a little small, but ac worked great and floor was quiet. I’d stay here again

This La Quinta was in the location I desired. Many great dining options super close!! The staff was very nice. The room was very nice for the rate. Clean, good bed, pillows, etc. AC worked great and not crazy loud. Shower head was good, good pressure and hot. The in room coffee maker actually made great coffee. They reloaded me with Dark Roast as much as I wanted. The breakfast buffet was also very good! Not just carbs but eggs, bacon, sausage. and 24hr coffee bar. The WiFi was super easy to use. and the room TV was probably the largest I have seen in a Hotel..period! Very nice stay. I would absolutely book again. Thanks,

This trip was for a soccer tournament. It was a last minute decision to stay rather than drive back home. The hotel was clean. Next to a mall. Breakfast was decent, but they opened at the time we needed to leave. The staff DID NOT want to accommodate the many soccer players that wanted to grab something quick so they could head to the pitch. They simply kept repeating when the breakfast bar opened. Quite annoying. When we first walked in, the cleaning staff was cleaning the floor. I was pleased to see that. They seemed to be investing in the cleanliness of the hotel rather than do the bare minimum. We stayed in the first floor. Not ideal, but it was quiet and we felt safe.

Was having work done on our house & we had to stay out for 24 hrs. (due to chemicals smell). Picked La Quinta for pricing & reviews. We weren't disappointed. Room was nice, everything was clean. Took advantage of the complimentary breakfast. A very special shout-out to Ms. D who did a masterly job. She even offered to fix my plate for me. Everything was very good.

Lobby smelled like cigarettes. Beds were old and uncomfortable. We weren’t told we had to request a clean room and fresh towels and so our rooms didn’t get serviced until our second day. Front desk tried to help by giving us some popcorn on the house. Oh and the elevator sounded like one from a haunted house lol

Two double beds with the wall side of either bed was impossible to gain entry,just about flush with the wall.no hand soap bar in room.ironing board and iron with no hall outlet.Hotels.com listed room As Nonfundable,with total forfeiture total amount paid!!!! Had to revize plans or lose the room already paid for . Breakfast very good,staff very helpful..a pleasure

Very old hotel and key system didn't work, have to Walk down multiple times to lobby and exchange card and again in the morning. No USB port for charging, breakfast is not as good as described in the website. I could have bought better breakfast in grocery store for $10. Always someone smoking weed in the parking lot. Too bad to check in
