We reserved and paid for 2 rooms in August for October. We requested accessible 1st floor rooms as 2 people are disabled and one is 87. When we arrived we were given 2nd floor rooms that we were physically unable to access. It took 30 minutes before they were able to get us 1st floor rooms. One was asscessible. One room stunk horribly and had dead bugs in it. Housekeeping did clean it good the next day. They were super friendly and great. The second room was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable for a motel. The couch was old and sagging, and other than the bed, the only place to sit. Our key card didn't work half the time,but they said they are supposed to get new locks in November. I can't praise the Housekeeping staff enough. They do not have breakfast, however they give you vouchers for breakfast at the restaurant on site. FANTASTIC breakfast with super friendly staff. Best grits I've had at any restaurant.

I gave this hotel a 2 star because they let us check in very early. The front desk attendant was very polite and accommodating. The photos on the website are very misleading. The outside of the hotel is very filthy. Looks nothing like the beautiful photos posted on the website. Inside the room is a 1-star. Carpets are filthy. Bathtubs are dirty. Lamp shade broken. Some outlets not working. The cleaning staff needs to be replaced for a better cleaning staff. Towels are clean though. Bedding was also clean. Good note: tv and appliances worked well. Air conditioning works well. The restaurant for breakfast gets a 4 star. Food is great! Good homemade cooking. Staff is very polite and friendly. Lots of parking.

The front deck person was incapable of communicating. When asked a question, he didn't answer at all. The rooms were filthy, especially the bathroom. The tub had not been scrubbed in months.
