Stay was fine. Reason we chose it was because of an indoor pool. Canceled reservations at another hotel because pool was down for maintenance I was told by someone that lives nearby. So we chose Hampton. After getting checked in, we dressed to swim, went down to pool, stuck our foot in. It was cold. Went to front desk and was told heater was broken. Something we weren’t told when we booked. Not very happy.

Was not told when I made reservations that the pool was out of order. Found out another motel had a pool that was under maintenance so we chose this one so we chose another with indoor pool. After check in and went down to swim. Pool was freezing cold. Talked to front desk and was told it was under repair.

Upon check in there was not enough bed linens or towels laundered to supply our room properly. We had to wait two hours, for them to be cleaned, so they arrived at 9PM. The pool is dirty and full of rust. The following day, the water to our room was disconnected due to a plumbing issue in their building. The sofa bed was miserable, bar jabbing your back…you could feel every spring. Awful. We ended up leaving mid day even though we were supposed to stay another day. The staff acted as though we should just be ok with the fact that their was no water to our room, and just understand that it was being fixed within “a few hours”. They did not offer to change us to a room with water. However they did refund our fee for the room in full. The staff member that did that acted as though we were being unreasonable and was not super kind…nor apologetic for the no water issue.

It was a great place to stay with very good healthy breakfasts. The only downside was the pool was cold. The location was perfect for us. Close to family, gas stations, restaurants, and a grocery store.

I was placed a room next to the indoor swimming pool. By 9:45 pm, the swimmers were still shouting and made loud noise. J called the front desk, she promised to calm them down. “By the way, the pool closes at 10:00 anyway.” The noise quiet down at 10:00. The sign on the swimming pool reads pool hours “8 to 9”. I am not a happy camper. Make sure ask a room away from any public place if you have to stay there.

We arrived just before 3pm (check in time). Was told our room was not ready and they did not know when it would be ready because housekeeping was behind. We were also told we were the only ones there waiting for a room. After about an hour wait, a room was ready. It was not well cleaned. The beds were nicely made and it smelled nice but the longer we stayed we noticed more things. The bathtub was gross, the shower head was caked in grime, towels had stains as well as the bed linens. The exercise room had broken equipment and the pool was disgusting. The staff both at arrival and the next day were not friendly, helpful and were just rude. Many things could have been overlooked if the staff wasn’t so rude. We only stayed one night and if it weren’t for it being a holiday weekend we would have gone elsewhere but everything nearby was booked. We love San Angelo and hope to visit again soon but we won’t be staying here again.

There was not shampoo in the shower, makes me wonder if it was even cleaned. Also the tub felt very uneven and filled with water while you shower, like it wasn’t draining properly. Also there was hair on the wall of the shower. We found a plastic cap in one of the beds. Again making me think the sheets had not been changed. There was a bad smell in the entry way as well as in the hallways. Definitely would not stay here again. Not worth almost $200.

Our sheets did not fit the bed and they just kept popping off all night. The shower drain did not drain properly, we had to turn the water off mid shower to let it drain then resume the shower. The shower was all chipped and rusted. The room was dusty and we had big black beetles all around the floor. Definitely will not stay again.

Overall the room was very clean and well kept. However, I had to wait an extra 1.5 hours passed check-in time to be able to get into my pre-booked room (due to low staffing, apparently?). I only have two complaints - 1) The shower head was ATROCIOUSLY DIRTY. As in, I worry about potential respiratory infection from having been using that shower head... it was *BAD*. The shower/bath itself was nice and clean, but the shower head looks like it hasn't been cleaned in literal YEARS. 2) The internet, despite being lauded as "great" and "speedy" in other comments, was barely a 3mb connection. It petered out quite regularly, and was not usable for anything more than FB / X usage... even streaming would randomly go into "loading" status using it. Aside from those complaints, the stay was delightful and the staff were great.

The hotel was very outdated, but I was hoping the cleanliness would be better. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the sheets felt like sand paper. The bathroom was dirty as well. Absolutely disappointed in the hamptons hotel. I found black hairs in my bed (I’m blonde), the toilet wasn’t scrubbed, the shower was also dirty. Just no.

The room was nice but plumbing maintenance poor. The sink didn’t drain properly and the bathtub faucet dripped non stop. Earplugs necessary. Breakfast was good with very friendly attendant. We thought $50 for a pet steep.

Hotel was run down. The walls and ceiling were patched. The carpet in the room felt dirty. All three drawers in the nightstand wouldn’t stay closed. Front desk said it was due to a slight elevation on one end?? She did offer to give me points for the inconvenience.

I was on the 1st floor. Someone above me was making so much noise. It seemed like they were stomping all night. The walls were really thin. The lady at front desk was indeed very nice, and I did not complain about the noise, but I never leave reviews, so hopefully that describes how bad the noise was. I didn’t get 4 hours of sleep. I also could not figure out how to turn the shower on.

I was told I could check in at 3 but when I got there I was told my room still wasn’t ready and I could come back in about 15 minutes when I got into my room finally I was pretty upset to see the beds weren’t even made properly it was very sloppy and the ac didn’t work to well either not to mention u could tell the shower hadn’t been cleaned right but overall I guess it was an ok stay

Requested a different room because ours had a very deep indent in middle of room. Made all the drawers in the room stay open & caused me to hit my leg on one. The beds were leaning which made sleeping very uncomfortable. Did not receive a different room or offer any remedy. Will not stay again

Everything was great but one side of the mattress felt lumpy. Could have just been me I guess as I've never had that problem at Hampton before. Excellent staff and very clean, quiet place to stay

The only observation for this visit involves the overall construction of the hotel. We stayed in room 210. We were able to hear the guests in room 310 every time they moved about their room. Other than that, we had a great experience. Cierra, the front desk attendant, did a great job for us. And, her manager did a great job helping her with a process she was not comfortable with. Nicely done by all staff.

Napkins were stuffed in the sides of the night stand draws because they wouldn’t stay shut, several light bulbs in the room were burnt out, and the tv only worked part of the time. Staff appeared annoyed at check in and were not very welcoming.

We booked this property for the indoor pool. Our reservation was for 4 people. The pool was ICE cold. The room was only stocked with 2 towels. When I stopped by the front desk to ask for additional towels I was told that they had no extra towels because they had issues with guest not bringing them back. Then I said we booked the king suite with a pullout sofa for 4 first and they only provide 2 towels and no blanket or sheets for the couch, she said what the king suite only come with 2 towels. An hour after checkout I noticed they charged my card for a night in the room and an incidental charge. I payed through Expedia ahead of time and had to call to have them fix it. We will never book here again.

We have stayed here two years in a role for our San Angelo . The staff went above and beyond and help me with my needs. There is a IHOP right next to the restaurant but they also offer free breakfast and it was very good and there is a roadhouse steak place right next to it and we’ve eaten there two years in a row and they were very good too, so it’s a very nice facility and I would recommend it to anyone beds or wonderful

Hotel wasn't ready for 3hrs after check in time of 3pm. After waiting 3 hours in the parking lot after driving 5hrs the first room thermostat was stuck on heater when it was 70 degrees outside. After switching rooms the shower was moldy so we couldn't shower. Not to mention the full lobby of people going through the same issues.

We arrived just before 3pm (check in time). Was told our room was not ready and they did not know when it would be ready because housekeeping was behind. We were also told we were the only ones there waiting for a room. After about an hour wait, a room was ready. It was not well cleaned. The beds were nicely made and it smelled nice but the longer we stayed we noticed more things. The bathtub was gross, the shower head was caked in grime, towels had stains as well as the bed linens. The exercise room had broken equipment and the pool was disgusting. The staff both at arrival and the next day were not friendly, helpful and were just rude. Many things could have been overlooked if the staff wasn’t so rude. We only stayed one night and if it weren’t for it being a holiday weekend we would have gone elsewhere but everything nearby was booked. We love San Angelo and hope to visit again soon but we won’t be staying here again.

Average hotel, nothing exceptional- room was clean, staff at check in was kind and helpful. Checked in at 8pm, left 5:30am pre breakfast so no comment on the free breakfast- coffee in the room was marginal, coffee in break area a little better. Proximity to loop means some traffic noise but overall just a decent place to stay.

The hotel has an excellent location, and the staff at the desk and the way breakfast was prepared were terrific. They love their guests, it was evident. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and I felt very safe there. Excellent work by all on the team.

The staff was incredibly nice and did the best they could. But the property was old. Sat by a frontage road and highway. Midas muffler and ihop in front of facility. TV’s did not carry nbc or cbs.

Everything was ok the only thing that I was upset is because the housekeeper was extremely noisy since 7 am. So please don’t do that because we are driving the whole night so we need to sleep that’s the reason we decide to stay at this location because is beside the freeway.

The room was clean, shower wasn't hot at all, breakfast at 8 am had nothing left and they weren't refilling anything. No waffles, toast, eggs, only cereal and some fruit. Breakfast is from 6-10 and they should plan for that.

Old facility, not upgraded to stay competitive. Crummy mattress & pillows. Grout crumbling in bathroom. Tv channel selection sucked with maybe 25 channels to choose from. You could find something better in their price range or something comparable for less no doubt. The staff was excellent from the lobby person to the shuttle driver. Their employees certainly helped their rating. Everything else was lacking

The room was nice. However, it was right next to the highway, and there was a lot of noise from the cars and motorcycles going by. The coffee pot in my room was broken, but I got fresh coffee downstairs. Everyone was very helpful and nice. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.
