the rooms where very clean and the staff where good. the breakfast was just ok, not many choices and the had boiled cut up for scrambled eggs. the out side was ok and the area was not the best. location to Lackland AFB was great.

The hotel was clean but definitely in need of many updates in the rooms. The bed was quite large...kingsize...but needs to be discarded. I felt every spring and for a person with a bad back it was uncomfortable. Bathroom was clean but again in need of updating. Water pressure in the shower was great and plenty of hot water for a lengthy shower. There was a loveseat in the room but it also needs to discarded. It is leatherette/vinyl with some unsightly rips and tears. The staff was very welcoming and stated several times if we needed anything just let them know. I can't say anything about breakfast because we left before it was served in order to go to Lackland Airforce Base for graduation ceremonies. The staff did provide a snack bag to take which had water, nutrition bars and peanut butter crackers. Location is great if you're going to the base but just be aware it is located in a very sketchy part of San Anotonio. Lots of homeless people and I was told many businesses in that area closed because of repeated break ins. For what we paid for two nights it was adequate but offering the rooms at maybe a 20 dollar drop would match what it's worth with the updates needed.

It was an inconvenience that the ice maker was broken on the 2nd floor. The only other one was on the 1st floor on the other side of the building. The towels were had brown stains on them. The breakfast lady was really nice. This hotel is cool on a budget.

Very friendly staff,breakfast was good,it was amazing how they treated family's there for air force graduation,they even made snack bags for people that left before breakfast,
