Pool was green entire 3 days we were there. There was garbage outside the pool nobody ever picked up. The bed had springs sticking out and it hurt my back. The staff was nice at check in and breakfast was good. Room was clean. Super disappointed in the pool.

Did not clean room when indicated on the initial check in. when they did clean room on the 3rd day of stay, floor not swept, clean blanket and sheet for pull out not left. Was told first night would be refunded by one staff and then told they would not by another staff. hot tub not working and pool dirty. Would not recommend and will not return.

Homeless people were camped out just behind parking area. Doors to side and back of building did not lock. Treadmill & bike in Gym were not working order. Breakfast was below average. This is the worst Country Inn and Suites I have stayed in.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The pool was unkept and dirty. The hot tub was empty and not operating. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Th tub was clogged and the water slow to go down. The fridge was leaking. The air conditioning unit was leaking.

Other than the location for Lackland Air Force base, this hotel was terrible. If you are traveling to attend AFBMT graduation I recommend spending a little extra money and staying on the boardwalk so your graduate has a nice room to hang out in. This specific hotel was filthy and smelled like urine in the halls. The room we stayed in had a broken refrigerator and tub. The bed was filthy and room just smelled.

I picked this hotel because of the ratings but it was horrible. They tell you to respond to a text with any questions/concerns. When you text, nobody writes back. You just get a generic message saying somebody will be with you shortly. WiFi was out the first night. Cockroaches everywhere. Body towels are like hand towels. Hair dryer didn’t work. Towels never replenished. Pool is disgusting. Carpets are dirty and old! Hallways smelled of marijuana. Area is sketchy and didn’t feel safe. I picked this because it had ok ratings and close to Lackland AFB, but wished I would have picked something farther that was in better quality. For how much that base brings business to the area, you would expect differently. I do like how they supported the graduates and families.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels. A lot. This place is the nastiest, trashiest, most horrible property I’ve ever stayed at. Period. Don’t let that pretty little lobby picture fool you, this place is disgusting. Found a dirty sock in the floor of our room as soon as we checked in. Filthy clothes hanger on the bathroom door (never seen a filthy clothes hanger at all. I have now) shower tub was damaged and felt unsafe and flimsy when showering. You could see the curtains bounce when you put your foot down. This was a second floor room. Tub drain and sink wouldn’t drain properly. Sink was inside the room and separate from the bathroom. Layout of the hotel was horrible. There was only one elevator and it was in the worst location. Not only that, the button was falling out of the button hole. Too scared to take it because it looked dangerous. Made us park around back in a sketchy neighborhood. Every morning we went to get coffee (no way I’d let my family eat a thing at this dump) the trash can was overflowing onto the floor and either the creamer, sugar or cups were always gone. I had to ask them to pick up the trash and refill coffee items all 3 mornings. Staff half asleep behind the counter doing NOTHING. No, I didn’t complain because I was there to see my son graduate Air Force basic training. Wasn’t worth my energy and there’s NO way this room was any worse than the rest of the facility. I wasn’t chancing it. The devil you know. Stay away.

Bed was clean, that was about all that was clean in the room. Not particularly comfortable mattress. Only positive really was that room wasn’t noisy. Bathroom had some black mold which I did report. Someone had smeared what looked like snot on one of the walls. Lack of upkeep in general, stained carpets, strange smell from AC unit.

The room was a bit cramped , the hotel seemed pretty much empty but the rooms above us were occupied by apparently large people who were somewhat noisy at strange hours . The toilet was cracked and i was genuinely concerned it would break and fall apart but it didn’t. Food was ok and staff was very helpful and polite. The building seems tired from use but very clean . Amy checked us in and was excellent and friendly. The area was optimal but location was.

We arrived and the room we were given was hotter (80 degrees) than it was outside. When we turned on the air conditioner and it didn't work. Called the front desk and told they were sold out and that there were no rooms to move to. When I asked whether we could get a refund and go to another hotel, I was told that because we were in the room, they would not refund. As a result we spent the night in a room without air conditioning and slept on top on the beds to stay cool. Couldn't have been any worse of a stay, and the worst customer service. If you can't provide a decent room, then don't take our money!

I’m trying not to bash the place too much. It reminded me of a flip property tried really hard but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The windows let in a lot of road noise. The bathroom didn’t have a fan. It was next-door to a pretty seedy hotel with barbedwire on the fence. But it was really close to where I needed to be. For 20 bucks more I could’ve gotten a better place a couple more miles away.

Staying at the Country Inn was what I expected, nothing different then what I seen on the website. It was close to Lakland AFB, where it was a easy route back and forth. I stayed at the Country Inn to sleep and it was comfortable. Breakfast was always there in the morning and fit it's purpose. The Inn is aged but clean. There was not much around the immediate area where I could walk to. I would not hesitate to stay again when visiting.

Staff were great. Very geared to thr BMT graduation. 12 mins to thr graduation location which was good. The breakfast spread was also good. The facility does need some work done. Had some areas with unfinished patch work and unpainted.

Stayed there for my daughter’s Air Force graduation. Very knowledgeable staff on Air Force graduation start times. They even had a breakfast bags to go on Wednesday which was a plus plus.

Anna at the front desk was amazing. We had a large military group with 11 different rooms. She was kind, patient, and got us all checked in very fast, which allowed us to get settled in and get to work quickly. Thanks to Anna making us feel so welcome, we will definitely be staying here again in the future.

It was Difficult checking in due to poor communication with manger , he told us our room would be ready in 5-10 min we ended up waiting over an hr 1/2. we got frustrated so asked again and it ended being an issue logging on to his computer to be able to check us in , the manager was 1 call away but decided to wait almost 2 hrs to finally call her . This really upset me cause this whole time we were waiting exhausted thinking he was getting our room ready but he was just walking around and going outside to vape . When finally checked in we got a knock on our door they had assigned someone else our room , 5 min later another knock on the door they thought we were still the previous guest. We also requested a late check out @12 and had house keeping knocking on our door @10:30 not even @11 which is normal check out still 30 min earlier which was annoying. Needs work on better communication but over all the hotel was clean room & lobby .

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They had breakfast for free early in the morning which helps if you’re going to a graduation on base, I just wish they had more food options like lunch or dinner. The room was clean, the bed was so so soft. I felt safe the whole time there even though I did have a door lock on but still nobody ever bothered me. I loved the atmosphere of the hotel. I’d definitely go back.

I used to live nearby a million years ago but I absent-mindedly confused the property for another. Of course, everything has changed but I found this property quite pleasant. The staff was superb, everyone friendly and professional. Breakfast was good. Location was perfect for our event and they even had a gentleman providing security outside. I don't think there was any danger but maybe to keep outsiders from the property. We felt safe even when we returned late. For the first time in my life I got the first room, 101, and loved the convenience. Thank you so much!! The only small things was the room coffee pot was dirty. The area where you pour the water had alot of caked stuff in it. We might have cleaned it but we didn't have time to drink coffee anyway. Before you think we're the picky Starbucks type, we usually drink instant. The coffee in the breakfast area was nasty, kinda bitter. None of us liked it. Otherwise breakfast was good and plentiful. There was a vehicle in the parking lot that had lost some quarts of motor oil. It probably could have been better parked and on the second day, someone had poured dirt on the oil to cover it up under the vehicle. Park it by the fence. It was a good place. I'll definitely stay there again.

We were there for grandsons’s graduation at Lackland AFB. The hotel was great location to the base. On the day of Coin Ceremony the hotel provided goodie bags for those that were leaving at 5:00am. I would recommend this hotel for anyone attending Lackland graduation.

Front desk girls were great. Every morning the hotel hallways smelled horribly of marajuana. The hotel looks nicer on the website pictures. Rooms were clean but some family members had mold in the bathroom. Around the property is very dirty most likely from transients. Breakfast was ok. We were there for basic training graduation and the hotel is less than 5 minutes from the base which was great. If you’re looking for just a place to sleep and don’t plan on being in your room much this is a good hotel for that. Not sure if I’d stay again.

Free breakfast is typical which offer hot scrambled egg and self made hot waffle. Room is clean and decent as expected for the price. The surrounding area seems to be in the middle of nowhere but it’s convenient to go to restaurants and shopping centers nearby for less than 10 mins drive . And About 15 mins to Seaworld. .

Staying at the Country Inn was what I expected, nothing different then what I seen on the website. It was close to Lakland AFB, where it was a easy route back and forth. I stayed at the Country Inn to sleep and it was comfortable. Breakfast was always there in the morning and fit it's purpose. The Inn is aged but clean. There was not much around the immediate area where I could walk to. I would not hesitate to stay again when visiting.

The room was clean and comfortable, the beds were comfortable, the shower head was perfect and the water temperature was amazing. I turned the hot water all the way up and it was hot, but not scolding. Breakfast was good. They have a waffle station, bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, a juice station (the water was refreshing) the orange juice was sweet. I would stay again. Check in was simple!

TV remote stopped working our first night. Front desk rep swapped out the AAA batteries. No improvement. Had to manually turn channels and power on/off TV. Cleaning staff very courteous. Front desk personnel greeted us every time we entered building. Breakfast was tasty

This hotel was amazing. The rooms were very clean, spacious , and very comfortable as far as temperature. The breakfast was good. They had a worker by the name of YeVett who was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. Thank you YeVett for your great hospitality. If you are looking for a great place to stay for the Airman graduation this is the place . It’s only 5 minutes from the base.

Broken light fixtures, cracked toilets, and other signs of neglect were everywhere. It's clear this property hasn't seen much investment in a long time.And the "free breakfast"? Only if you're prepared to audition for The Hunger Games. It was absolute chaos. Guests were literally pushing people out of line just to get to the food. In all my years of traveling, I've never seen such aggressive competition over powdered scrambled eggs and hockey-puck sausage patties.Between the condition of the rooms and the breakfast experience, I can't recommend staying here. The low price isn't worth the frustration.
