This was the MOST disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. Booked two rooms for 3 nights for an Air Force graduation. They require $60 in cash only per room for the deposit. The rooms should be condemned. I have no clue why Expedia would have this property on their platform. Mold, cockroaches, peeled paint everywhere. Smoke alarm ripped off wall. No remote for tv in room. When they found one, there were 2 channels working. One room required recoding key 9 times. Ice machine was broken. Just an absolute gross experience! STAY AWAY!!!

Was very clean, all remodeled, staff was friendly and accommodating. We got in a few hours after we said we would show and they had no issues, even upgraded our room. Pool was clean and hotel had adequate parking. 👍

Upon check in found out about a security deposit undisclosed in the original listing on hotel.com, the first counter rep was extremely rude (bigger guy, slick hair, wears glasses) upon entry to the room discovered the door strike plate is malfunctioning due to the screws being stripped, informed the front desk rep and she looked at me like I did something (I’m just reporting it as a contractor by trade). The carpet after walking for a minute was extremely gross, could not walk around in socks. It was as dirty as walking on pavement. The shower has mold in the corners and needs reconditioning. The Ice machine is malfunctioning. This by far has been the worst experience at a hotel.

You should not trust the photographs; This hotel is of low quality, with very austere rooms. Barely hot water came out in the shower, poorly maintained and a little dirty. The curtain in the room is broken. The printer at the reception was not working, they could not print the receipt. Difficult to sleep because it is on a busy freeway with a lot of noise all night.

Pros: nice pool, great water pressure, lots of lights and ways to charge devices Cons: stained sheets and bathmat that were not replaced when requested, burn holes in comforter not replaced as requested, weird refrigerator that either froze everything or melted everything.

I would first like to say that the staff was very nice and helpful. One thing I did NOT like was that they require you to pay an additional sixty dollars for a deposit. This information is Not listed ANYWHERE and at just over a hundred dollars a night, you might as well book a nicer hotel room like motel six . I Asked for a non smoking room and while the room didn't smell like smoke, there were cigarette burns in the sheets / bedding. The pillowcases were dirty, one had blood on it like if someone with bad acne used it last. There was mold in the bathroom, a hole in the tub, the shower curtain rod had been rehung so many times there was multiple holes in the wall and the shower curtain hung 3-4 inches AWAY from the tub so water went everywhere. They only give you half a roll of one ply toilet paper & The AC unit never got the room above 75 . The TV requires you to login with your own TV service , you don't get any channels, not even the news. The only plus is that it's not too noisy. But another con is that the balcony on the second story is cracked and leans like it's about to just fall off the building entirely.

So I have booked online using hotels.comover 30 days straight which now makes me a tenant. I asked the hotel management about the tax exemption and I was told that since I payed online and through hotels.com that I would have to talk to Hotels.com about being reambursted which this website does not include the U.S.to be. after speaking to a supervisor from this website . So I would like for someone in corporate to fix this issue or I will submitt my complaint to the Department of Justice with the ADA and Disability Act conserning this websites case on discrimination on equality.

Curtains have burn holes and are falling off. Most rooms are NOT HABITABLE as we looked into them. We asked to be moved because of the filth. It's a "nasty", dirty, disgusting place to stay. Expect nothing but yuck if you choose to book here. The owners DO NOT fix up the place. Unsafe. Lackland area around this Deluxe Inn formerly Days Inn) is very Unpleasant.

DO NOT STAY HERE! By far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The drapes were torn. The key card didn't work multiple times. The highway is right next to it, so it's hard to sleep at night. I had prepaid through Expedia, yet I was still required to put down a cash deposit on arrival. Fortunately I just happened to have enough cash in my wallet. The staff was helpful, so that was one positive. Ironically, the owner always replies to negative reviews on here saying, "This isn't the normal experience for our guests." His reply is not true. Why are the reviews so overwhelmingly bad if this isn't the normal experience?

I wish I could leave a review based on customer service alone because the customer service was superb! However, this is a bug motel. If you like dust and bugs, this is the place. Dirty sheets and pillow cases. Bugs everywhere. Cracks in the wall and bathroom. Spiderwebs in the shower. We will not stay here again or recommend it to friends and family.

Staying there was like something out of a horror movie. We are quite used to low priced budget motels but nothing prepared us for the filth, disrepair, and BUGS. I went to dry my hands on a hand towel hanging on the wall, and there was a giant 2 inch roach on the wall behind it, scaring the crap out of me. We saw other giant roaches as well as many cockroaches, ants, spiders, various types of bugs. We were waiting for our property to close escrow and had paid for a block of time in advance and really couldn't afford to leave and pay again for a new motel but we were extremely close to just leaving anyway. One night as my husband was unloading a few groceries from the car into the room, a prostitute solicited him right in front of me. Needless to say that didn't end well. But that's the kind of slimy place it is. They don't wash the towels, BTW. The "white" towels were all various shades of yellow. Gross! The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. We would have been better off sleeping in our car for free, it really was that disgusting. We stayed there in June 2022, over 2 years ago, and I'm still affected by it. Out of all the many budget motels we have stayed at over many states and over many years, this place was the absolute worst. Avoid at all costs! 0/10

Paint peeling, carpet old and dirty, holes in blankes and sheets, holes in curtins, holes in celings and carpet. Electrical outlets didnt work and roaches around the fridge. I walked around the room after taking a shower and the bottoms of my feet turned black from the filth on the carpet. I will never stay here again

Did not stay, cancelled my stay. A/C was dirty, moldy, unsanitary, sheets were strained and looked dirty, carpet was filthy, shower and bath had rust and corrosion, no towels were provided, and no tp. Do not recommend.

The tv only have 2 channels, the whole room was dirty and falling apart, from the walls to the furniture and carpets, the towells, are in bad shape, and with spots, one of the towells look like was use for a mechanic to clean his hands, the blanked on the bed have spot and cigarrette burns, people wake me up at 2 am screaming in the parking lot, may be d....g or p....... very bad experience, i dont think i use yor search engine again, this hotel should be close, out of service.

The staff is friendly but the facility is super scary at night. The locks are broken on the door and the handle when trying to get in needs to be messed with before going in. At night you can see the light from outside coming in through the door. I would not recommend this place it’s not a safe place

You should not trust the photographs; This hotel is of low quality, with very austere rooms. Barely hot water came out in the shower, poorly maintained and a little dirty. The curtain in the room is broken. The printer at the reception was not working, they could not print the receipt. Difficult to sleep because it is on a busy freeway with a lot of noise all night.

I would first like to say that the staff was very nice and helpful. One thing I did NOT like was that they require you to pay an additional sixty dollars for a deposit. This information is Not listed ANYWHERE and at just over a hundred dollars a night, you might as well book a nicer hotel room like motel six . I Asked for a non smoking room and while the room didn't smell like smoke, there were cigarette burns in the sheets / bedding. The pillowcases were dirty, one had blood on it like if someone with bad acne used it last. There was mold in the bathroom, a hole in the tub, the shower curtain rod had been rehung so many times there was multiple holes in the wall and the shower curtain hung 3-4 inches AWAY from the tub so water went everywhere. They only give you half a roll of one ply toilet paper & The AC unit never got the room above 75 . The TV requires you to login with your own TV service , you don't get any channels, not even the news. The only plus is that it's not too noisy. But another con is that the balcony on the second story is cracked and leans like it's about to just fall off the building entirely.

It was completely chaotic..check in taking 30 minutes. $60 cash required at check in that was not made clear to us. 911 calls being made. Very sorry, people couldn't get their door locks to work. Shocking really

Was very clean, all remodeled, staff was friendly and accommodating. We got in a few hours after we said we would show and they had no issues, even upgraded our room. Pool was clean and hotel had adequate parking. 👍

First room I was given was not ready. There were no sheets on either bed, or phone in the room to call and report the issue. I had to go to the office. Second room smelled awful, carpet was disgustingly dirty. Less than half toilet paper roll was in the bathroom ,no extra. 2 towels were on the counter that’s it! Curtains were not closing, had to do my best to close them. Also no phone in room. It was 10:30 when we got a knock on the door telling us they would charge a $1 a minute if we did not check out on time. Check out was at 11:00 am. I had to wait for a receipt of my stay so the secretary could take care of other people although I was there first. Never again!

Absolutely disappointed with my recent experience at Hotel Despite having a confirmed reservation well in advance, upon arrival I was informed they had no room available for me. The staff offered a vague apology and a recommendation for another hotel miles away. This left me stranded and scrambling to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, which was incredibly stressful, especially since we all are need of a room due to extremely tired of all day visit of San Antonio sights and scenes.

Initially requested a room with a walk-in shower for my disabled family members. Upon arrival, I was told none exist on the property. Reluctantly, I continued with check-in (despite the dirty reception wall). Got my key and walked to the room. Not only did the key not work, the door and ground were filthy! Imagine what the room looked like?? I immediately returned to the front desk and requested a refund. The lady said I’d have to contact hotels.com and they’d need to speak to the manager. We tried that for several days, and guess what…said manager was never available. I’m not sure who’s rating this property 3 stars, but I wouldn’t give it 1. This is a dump in every sense of the word and there’s a $60 cash deposit (which I’m sure would have been a struggle to get back had I stayed). Stay here at your own risk. Oh…and it’s next door to a gas station with questionable patrons. No thank you.

The staff is friendly but the facility is super scary at night. The locks are broken on the door and the handle when trying to get in needs to be messed with before going in. At night you can see the light from outside coming in through the door. I would not recommend this place it’s not a safe place

So I have booked online using hotels.comover 30 days straight which now makes me a tenant. I asked the hotel management about the tax exemption and I was told that since I payed online and through hotels.com that I would have to talk to Hotels.com about being reambursted which this website does not include the U.S.to be. after speaking to a supervisor from this website . So I would like for someone in corporate to fix this issue or I will submitt my complaint to the Department of Justice with the ADA and Disability Act conserning this websites case on discrimination on equality.

DO NOT STAY HERE! By far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The drapes were torn. The key card didn't work multiple times. The highway is right next to it, so it's hard to sleep at night. I had prepaid through Expedia, yet I was still required to put down a cash deposit on arrival. Fortunately I just happened to have enough cash in my wallet. The staff was helpful, so that was one positive. Ironically, the owner always replies to negative reviews on here saying, "This isn't the normal experience for our guests." His reply is not true. Why are the reviews so overwhelmingly bad if this isn't the normal experience?

Stayed 3 nights, they never made my room, I mention it to fron desk. The guy didn't say nothing. He just wrote it down in a notebook. The room was ok but blankets on both beds had a lot stains. There are many homless around the area.

The first room had blood on the sheets on one of the beds. They switched us to another room and there was dirt and grass on both beds. I have to assume they never changed the sheets between guests. We asked for a refund and were directed to our online reservation. I contacted hotels.com who said only the hotel can authorize a refund. Hotels.com contacted the hotel who said the manager who can approve refunds was unavailable. I'm still waiting 5 days later and have heard nothing.

The TV was broken, I called the front desk several times about it, maintenance did not show up until my departure. Also, there were roaches in the room crawling around. However, the staff communicated well, but not up to standard. The mattress was also comfortable. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel.
