Days Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Splashtown/ATT Center

The purpose of my stay was leisure & meeting up with family. Being a frequent traveler l try to be frugal which has me staying in some of the less expensive motels. I used to always check the reviews first and go from there and quickly found the flaw in that approach realizing people seem to write a indepth negative review slamming a owner, manager or property quicker than a positive one this has made me a true believer to give a honest review either way. Upon arrival I saw there is a lobby area with a couch and some comfy chairs it was quiet and peaceful nice place to sit and read. Check in was smooth The facilities were dated and could use an update which in a perfect world and in a better economy I'm convinced this property's owner would do. Everything appeared clean and orderly. The bed linens & towels were freshly laundered. The hospitality staff were very attentive and friendly. Located in a partial industrial area concerned me at first although there was little noise and we did not experience any disturbances. The pool area has a great picnicking deck with grills, tables and plenty of seating If you and your family are pool lovers like us then you're in for a treat. As far as security concerns the parking and facility were fenced with adequate parking for all the guests. I did not see any transients or loitering in parking areas. Pest control must be well maintained we did not see any signs of a insect or rodent presence. All in all it was a pleasant stay we will def

I can tell that they are working on fixing up the property. The people were very nice and very polite. The rooms were nice, they were clean . The bathrooms, still needed work. The pool needed to be repainted. Was not tempted to get in the pool.

Good price, nice water pressure, good pool. Our phone did not work, however, and the door wasn’t the most secure- my daughter and I could see a good 1/2 inch gap between the right side of the door and the frame, and it was easy to shove open even with the deadbolt in place.

Very poor property condition and facilities

This is not a property i would recommend. It was dirty, the tv didn't work, the toilet worked half the time. The pool had bandaids in it

Very convenient for my trip. It seemed like there has been little done in maintenance. The small shop was excellently priced and the staff was pleasant.

Good budget hotel. Old but clean and staff was friendly. Pool was immaculate. Right in the middle if you're looking to be close to Fort Sam and downtown but don't want to pay for the Riverwalk.

The rooms were ourdated and cringy. The pool was decent though.

The bathroom was dirty. The chairs looked like somebody died in them; they were stained so bad. I booked this because it was a Wyndham. I went to the check in desk to cancel the reservation, the employee couldn’t speak English. We left immediately upon seeing the room. We’re afraid of bedbugs or worse.

Dirty! Not well maintained. Dining looks like a jungle with a huge vine. Expedia should set standards for hotels to be included in the list of choices.

Our room was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. The curtains were stained and gross. The walls had pain peeling off. We didn’t even stay, we turned around immediately.

Extremely dirty and not well maintained. Did not feel safe staying there. The free breakfast felt misleading as all there was to eat was stale bread and a pre packaged pastry.

The bathroom had mold dirty sheets bathroom door broken lock im was surprised that Wyndham a 4 star hotel had anything to do with the Days inn someone is not doing their homework. Im former Hotel manager worked for Sheraton Melia, Meliá Dominicana, Lowes Dominicana The Plaza in New York City Doubletree in Miami and more. Never in my Hotel career did I saw such thing, you ask and I responded

Mold in the bathroom

Staff were helpful and friendly and the room was clean.

Room was disgusting, ti the point that my husband killed 3 roaches. When he moved the bed to spray roach spray that we asked on from desk , we found trash. Bag if trash behind the bed. When I calle front desk to tell them how dirty and the roaches in our room he said that our room was cleaned. What the hell!! If that “clean “ for them , that is insane. We are traveling and we were so tired. I just verified the beds didnt have bedbug on it so I left the girls sleep while I was wide awake ion the look out fo roaches so they can get a lil of sleep. By 7 am ww left!

Everything was good about my stay besides one thing. The poor wifi connection which was horrible. I couldn't use my laptop or play my PS5. They definitely need to upgrade.

Never again. The AC would not even cool off the room below 80°. It was so hot in that room it would have been cooler to open the door in June Texas weather. Bathroom vent was crusted in dust. The overall cleanliness of the room was good but just rundown and not taken care of. They have just given up at this point. Bed was clean and made. Came with two bath towels that were clean. Tv remote did not work at all. Holes in the floor. Don’t stay in 115.

Really good location, but the door was not sealed very well, I had to put a towel on the bottom of the door to keep the cold in...big gap on the bottom and sides

The room was as clean as it could be, but everything was dingy. Water didn’t really get hot. Too much light filtering into room. Broken furniture. Outdated. Windows not sound proof as it’s right off highway. So everything was loud. I literally could not sleep both nights of my stay. Definitely not for family.

The staff were very nice and helpful to me. Our room, on the other hand, was abysmal. So many parts of it were broken or falling apart. It was a convenient location compared to where we needed to go, but that’s really the only positive I can say about it. I know that I didn’t pay much for the room, but I just thought that I’d been able to get a really good deal. I was shocked and beyond disappointed by the state of the room we got. I recommend that you look elsewhere for somewhere to stay.

Our suite had mold growing around the vent on the ceiling in the bathroom; wall outlets were few and very loose (plugs tended to just fall out), and one of them was half-melted. The AC unit is quite noisy. Sound insulation is poor: loud birds outside start calling before dawn; in the late evening, there were obvious sex noises (loud female moans) coming through from some nearby suite. Continental breakfast is very scant (just some foul-smelling, bleached white bread for toast with packaged butter or jam; two basic choices of cereal with milk; and some superstore-bought individually packaged danishes); coffee is the only hot beverage available. Wi-Fi is wonky - hard to initially get connected (requiring multiple attempts, and retries; then won't stay consistently connected.)

Rooms are very outdated and small. Hotel is very run down.Our ceiling had a whole in it. But had a nice pool area.

Some of the furniture was broken. The TV would power up for about 2 minutes then power off.

I understand the clerks and front desk people were from out of the US but it Is extremely unpolite to speak other language then English in front of patrons and customers

Good stay. Hotel is old but for my needs it was a great stay. Check in person was amazing and friendly. Room was clean and the fridge was amazing.

I had two rooms, both of them were dusty everywhere, windows as well. Started sneezing just as I walked in, had to wipe tables and headboard as were covered in dust. We went out for a while after checking in and when we came back a stranger has our room because they forgot to check us in correctly and one of the rooms was given to somebody else. Good thing the guest was kind enough to give the backpack that was on that room to the people at frontdesk. Toilet was dirty, doors all beaten up. Do not recommend this hotel at all.

Manager is so unprofessional Lisa is her name so rude when she talk to people unprofessional way to speak to a customer there better ways to talk to people she got no education at all never again ill got back to the hotel everything was ok but the rude unprofessional manager they got

Staff were helpful and friendly and the room was clean.

To start, i got a key that didnt work. Then i got send to a different room, pretty beat down, with a hole behind the door stopper that was not properly secured to the wall. Then, they put a $50 hold on my card, whuch was taken and i still have not gotten it back. I got there at 10:30pm, went to sleep, woke up and showered, and checked out by 6:30am. Not sure why they kept my $50. Literally one of the worst places i have stayed at.

Easy access to highway

The drive to the venue was super close making the trip stress free.

Was a very quiet location. We booked very last minute but they were so kind and courteous. Will very much be booking again in a few months!

I stayed during the Final 4 and National Championship for NCAA. The location was very convenient and was priced very reasonable compared to other locations. I would stay here again.

I liked that it was quite and peaceful.

Not much to look at, but we were only there for the location and just an overnight stay.

Mold on bathroom ceiling. Switchplates on lightswitches broken. Waterpipe noises all night long. Morning breakfast consisted of cold cereal, toast, sweet roll. OJ, Apple juice and coffee. And then the OJ machine broke...

Price good. You get what you paid for. Sink was not working, Floor was dirty, there were fingernails on the ground. The place needs a facelift. Breakfast was just toast and fruit loops. Common area bathroom out of order.

All of the staff were very nice and helpful. It was raining hard and there were two leaks in the ceiling, and when I called the front desk they immediately sent maintenance to check the room. He brought a key to another room with him, and helped us move our bags to the next room. The beds are hard, not just firm...hard. The breakfast in the morning was disappointing - two kinds of cereal and toast. The orange juice was empty and the only juice option was apple.

We had to get a new key everyday because we were getting locked out and the continental breakfast was just cereal and bread to make toast with milk, juice and coffee.

False advertising regarding breakfast being offered. We went to the dining room at 8:10 for breakfast, and the only thing on the counter was bread and the juice machine. We didn't have hot water in our room. Reported it, but was ignored. Drawers were broken. Cigarette burns on the covers.

I picked this place because it said breakfast included, all it offered was cold cereal and toast

Overall clean rooms, nice staff had to change rooms since my key wasn’t properly working for first room breakfast was only a few pieces of toast and cereal rooms where a bit smaller than what they appear online but wouldn’t mind staying again area is away from downtown which I liked.
