It was like being cat-fished!! The pictures are NOT what we got. A green swimming pool. A NASTY bird mess everywhere outside. I understand birds are protected but no other establishments had this issue. Our downstairs room FLOODED with two inches of water ruining my electronics. The staff were as helpful as you could hope for in a second rate establishment. Waiting over an hour for maintenance to fix a clogged toilet. It was relatively clean inside the rooms otherwise but very very old and rundown.

The service was great. The hotel was having a major problem with cattle egrets which was legally totally out of their control. It would have been nice to have been notified by hotels.com about the issue so we I could have made other arrangements.

I booked this location for a short trip in New Braunfels with my family. I also liked this location since pets were allowed with a $100.00 pet deposit which was listed on the website during booking. Once we arrived I was made aware it would be an extra $40.00 per night for my two dogs and for three nights this hotel was no longer cost effective to stay at compared to the hotels in New Braunfels. I was upset when I was told about the new cost during check in but I have two little kids who were very excited to swim in the pool so we checked in. The pool was green with heavy alge growth and my wife wouldn't even get in. The staff was very nice and helpful and we never complained to anyone there since they did treat us nicely. I'm just aggravated with the hidden pet fee, and overall condition of the pool. We knew this was an older hotel so I'm not going to complain about the room condition which had black mold in the shower be aware since we knew ahead of time the place would be dated. Overall I would not pick this place again due to hidden fee and overall condition. The staff was very nice though.

Unfortunately for this hotel, the local Egret birds nest right outside and it is stinky and messy. Also, all of the bottom floor rooms flooded during the 4th of July floods in the area. The hotel moved our rooms, but it was still an inconvenience.

Plenty of parking and the pool was bigger than i expected. I had an awesome time there with my grandchildren. My four day stay was enjoyable, never had issues with anything. I would definitely stay there again.💗

We had a room for a handicapped person. There was no hot water at all not even warm. The showerhead didnt move and was pointed to wall so couldnt take that way either. A handicap person could not have used this room. Our son has Down Syndrome so he is handicapped and couldnt take a shower. Breakfast was over and lights were out before 9:00. Other parts were fine, but my son to nit be able to shower and we had to take a cold shower was terrible.

Just remodeled, but no toilet tissue or holder. Floor lamp had no bulb and side table with broken switch. No TV remote in room. Toilet tank lid had broken corner. Water was hard to adjust in the shower (hot/cold). Room itself was very clean and neat and bed was good.

I saw mixed reviews for this hotel due to “decor being outdated”, but I found that to be irrelevant. Our room was comfortable and I loved the little courtyard with a large pool. The staff was very accommodating and kind. Would definitely stay here again. I believe the front desk attendant’s name was Banu, and he went over and above to make sure we had what we needed.

There was a generator and power washer literally right outside the room 4 nights (7-10 pm) in a row. They didn’t do anything about it. There was no consideration, and it was so loud that even having the tv up super loud wouldn’t stop the noise. Obvious water damage. Staff would disappear and if you needed to get a hold of them sometimes you’d have to wait half an hour for anyone to appear.

If you just need a bed to sleep in then you could stay here. Sketchy area, out dated, dirty, The first room we got had no ac and the lights were shorting out. We were moved to a room where the ac was great. French fries left on the floor and sheets were stained. Breakfast area was like a sauna.

We had a room for a handicapped person. There was no hot water at all not even warm. The showerhead didnt move and was pointed to wall so couldnt take that way either. A handicap person could not have used this room. Our son has Down Syndrome so he is handicapped and couldnt take a shower. Breakfast was over and lights were out before 9:00. Other parts were fine, but my son to nit be able to shower and we had to take a cold shower was terrible.

Old School (former Holiday Inn) hotel nice court yard, pool is huge, breakfast could be better. Eggs and bacon or sausage added to the menu would be nice. Only had waffles and cereal.

Breakfast wasn't that good. The waffle maker didn't cook the batter all the way. We made the waffles and took it on the go, but we couldn't even eat it due to it being raw. Front desk personnel were very helpful and always made sure we didn't need anything else. They did an excellent job on helping us with the people next door. Their dog kept on barking and they did go to the room to talk to the people to keep the noise down.

The room was decent.The property was decent, but they did have a lot of cattle egrate out there, and bird poop everywhere people were running over the babies. My refrigerator wasn't working, and it took two days before they got me another one. I booked for two weeks. I had to leave a week early and they would not refund my money and hotels.com. could not get my money back. So I've been charged $1450 for 1 week and 1 day stay plus a fee for checking out early. I would have been fine with a small fee for checking out early but not being charged for the 5 days I wasn't there. I will never use a days inn again nor will I use hotels.com again. I asked the gentleman up front if I were to check out early would I get a refrun and he told me that it would be up to hotels.com. or Expedia, because that was who I booked through, but apparently nobody was going to give me a refund because the agent for hotels.com told me that the hotel wouldn't give me a refund. Good luck 👍

Normally we don’t have much issues but this trip was pretty bad. We had a lot of mats and flies. No hot water and the pressure sucked. Staff is always very welcoming and nice.
