The parking scam here really upsets me, our car was towed, there were only 4 cars in the parking lot. Plenty of room for other cars, this hotel is in cahoots with the tow company, tells you to put a piece of paper on your dash. And we did, I think they actually moved it off the dash to the seat just so they could make a kickback of $20 from the tow company. Both Uber drivers said that’s what happens here. It cost up $288 to get our car back, don’t stay here. I never will!!!

I will start by saying the staff is kind and considerate. But the hotel itself is not it. Rooms are infected with roaches so we did not bother going down for breakfast. Their pool obviously did not have enough chemicals because the wayer smelld terrible and was very cloudy. We were very uncomfortable and kept our belonging in the car and stayed out of the rooms as much as possible.

Inexpensive great prices for a good clean place. Loved the room and kitchenette. Only thing was toilet clogged and it had just been #1 but that often happens in many hotels I've been at I've seen. Employees were nice and professional.

Forgot to put a sticker on my dash, so they towed my car away!! All they had to do was ask the front desk if they're was someone with that car staying here. NEVER AGAIN!! THEY SHOULD HAVE STRESSED THAT WE WOULD BE TOWED IF IT WASN'T ON THE DASHBOARD. We're currently homeless and came to shower here. Now we have to deal with this. 😭😩😔

The rooms could use a little tlc but the beds were comfy & the air worked! Nothing fancy & for the price it did the job. All the staff were really friendly & accommodating, it reminded me more of a motel than a hotel. The breakfast was simple, waffles & cereal. Washers & dryers worked well however no detergent or fabric softeners available for purchase there. The hot tub didn’t work when we arrived however I think they had someone looking at it & the pool had too much chlorine in it for me but overall it was a place to stay at an affordable rate!

AC unit did not cool. Toilet was clogged the whole time, we had to use the restroom when we were away. Bedding was dirty and needed to be replaced. No towels in the hotel at check in. The floors in the hotel room were filthy!

We left a day early and went to another hotel because it was so dirty. There is a sign on the mirror that says do not wipe the floor with towels, you can ask to borrow a mop which I thought was weird but after walking around for 5 minutes it all made sense. My feet were black from the floor. There was no hot water and mold in the bathroom. The faucet was beyond corroded. The walls, curtains and lamp shades were filthy. The whole room was disgusting. The staff members were nice and I hope they can find better jobs.

Rooms were in terrible condition. Most of the lights didn’t work and Lamp shades were moldy! No hand towels in the room and when we asked for some were told they didn’t have any because the owner wouldn’t buy more. Bedspreads were not washed from the guests before us and were covered in dog hair. Heat/air conditioner didn’t work either. When these concerns were brought up at the front desk they were not addressed other than to give us different bedspreads to put on our beds and replace one light in the bathroom. Breakfast was also disappointing with not enough food to go around. We definitely were not expecting a high end resort, it is a Super 8 after all, but we do expect rooms to be clean and in working order!

I was not happy with the condition or the cleanliness of the property. The room was not cleaned very well. The sheets had stains on them as well as the bedspread. The bathtub was in need of repair. The shower barely had a trickle of water coming out of it. The toilet did not flush well. Staff was less than friendly and they were not really helpful at all. I would say you get what you pay for but actually I paid enough for this room that it should have been in much better condition and much cleaner.

This place was so dirty our bed had someone’s hair in the blankets, The shower had mold The ac didn’t even kick on properly, was supper hot The hotel ice machine was broken cockroaches crawling on the floor and running after my kids, WiFi sucked and the pull out couch was ripped and broken with no extra blankets.

The entire hotel is filthy. Including the floors, walls, doors, wall switches and bathroom. We walked in bare feet in our room. The bottom of our feet were BLACK. The lamp on the night stand did not have a bulb and the switch was gone on it also. We were there 6 nights and housekeeping never came to our room during our stay. No hand towels available in room. I called the front desk, they said they don't have any as the manager is to cheep to buy new ones. The hallways have never been swept in a very long time. The breakfast area is so dirty I believe if the health department saw this they would shut it down immediately. I will never stay here again.

Our rooms (daughter stayed with her husband in own room) were never cleaned the whole stay. We were charged $80 for 4 towels that had dirty spots. Trash stacked up for 4 days and was never picked up. My daughter’s room had roaches. The staff was confrontational with my husband and son in law. Worst hotel experience we have ever had. We travel and stay at many places. This is the first time using Expedia for booking. Our trip was fun, only complaint was the Super 8 hotel.

The hotel is worn out and old. Rusty , marks all over the walls that look like blood and boogers. Our bedroom cover looked like it had semen wiped on the corners of it. The floors were disgusting. They would make your feet black walking around shortly. They used dark tiles to cover the grime on the floors. Shower had cockroaches coming out of the spout and handles on the shower. Most drawers had dead cockroaches inside. Won't ever come here again. Just a poorly maintained property.

Wall lamps were severely rusted, so was microwave and the safe. TV was broken and didn't have a remote. Bedding sheets had stains. Bathroom area was the worst part. Shower started cold and slowly stayed permanently hot. Towel was on the floor. Toilet area was really unclean. There was urine under the toilet ring and dried poop at the back of it. A hotel stay should make you feel relaxed not give you major anxiety.

Staff at check in were super helpful and friendly. Our room was quiet and bed comfy. Sheets were clean but a little bit stained which happens so was understandable. Good central location. Would stay again for the price we paid plus you get a breakfast included which was appreciated.

This is where I always stayed. I've probably stayed here between 50 and 100 times in the last 3 years. Requirements for a clean hotel room. I think clean always goes without saying. All I need is a comfortable bed, cold AC and fast Wi-Fi. Super 8 always provided this. The last three times the Wi-Fi has not been acceptable at all. But I'd like to say that all of the staff are incredible. I've had positive experiences with each and every one of them. They just need to fix the Wi-Fi or I'm going to have to find a new place to stay.

Decent stay—provided a parking permit for one vehicle, staff was friendly enough, and it was close to everything on the island. Only complaints are that we were only provided 1 sheet as the primary blanket, the toilet water pressure was awful and would not flush, and during our 3 night stay, our trash was never taken out. Otherwise it was what you’d expect from a Super 8. Another note: if you don’t like carbs for breakfast, I’d avoid this place, since all there was for breakfast was bagels, muffins, oatmeal, cereal and waffles—not an issue for us, but a heads up to others!

First, I can say that the room was clean and decently comfortable. There is plenty of room and the location is great. These are the main things I look for, as well as affordable. I won’t pay for high end when all I do is sleep. However, for the money I spent, compared to other hotels I have stayed at in this price range, they could provide more. The bedspread was horrid quality where its only purpose was to add color. There was no function to it other than that. So technically, we had one sheet no blankets. They gave us two towels and one hand towel no wash cloths. I realize that we could’ve requested more, but it was just weird. The plumbing worked, but looks like it has been fixed over and over again. At this point, please replace some thing that looks decent. They need to re-caulk the bathtub and we only got one cup of coffee for the room and there were two people. I’m giving them an average rating for the fact that they cleaned and kept the property up. But they could try a little bit more to make their customers more comfortable.

At this point, please replace some thing that looks decent. They need to re-caulk the bathtub and we only got one cup of coffee for the room and there were two people. The rooms could use a little tlc but the beds were comfy & the air worked! Nothing fancy & for the price it did the job. All the staff were really friendly & accommodating, it reminded me more of a motel than a hotel. The breakfast was simple, waffles & cereal. Washers & dryers worked well however no detergent or fabric softeners available for purchase there. The hot tub didn’t work when we arrived however I think they had someone looking at it & the pool had too much chlorine in it for me but overall it was a place to stay at an affordable rate!

The front desk lady was HORRIBLE! I drove 9 hrs, had previously made 3 calls confirming my reservation and that my ck in would be very late due to long distance travel and weather conditions. The Rep., on the phone confirmed no problem. He was very kind and confirmed my room was secure. When I arrived at the hotel to ck in, the lady at the front desk told me my room was no longer available, no refund would be given and if I wanted to stay (sleep for 4 hrs) I would have to make a new reservation and pay again. Annnnnd she confirmed she was aware of my previous calls and had gotten a note about my previous confirmations from the other rep. but I came too late!!! What???? Mind you all this convo was taking place in front of her 7 yr old son sitting at the front desk with her at work at 5:30am....smdh!!! Absolutely ridiculous, horrible customer service, rude and embarrassing as she was yelling at me wavibg her arms in front of my grown daughter. Never again. Thanks Super 8.

To start I was given a room card for a room that was occupied already. I asked for room service in the am due to check in they stated had to be requested in the morning so I called and then they said I had to request in person so I did. Returned to my room and no room service was done. I called and lady said it was not her problem if the am staff didn’t do it I asked to speak to manager she said there was none if I needed something to go to the front and request. I had to do my own beds and get towels. So disappointed. I requested a late check out and lady said sure just call us in the morning as a reminder and so I did and man stated he was told no late check out due to not w enough room service staff available. Like what hotel does that I travel so much and never had none of these issues. Over priced for the service I got and tables so dusty. Would never go back

If you want all the basics in a good, affordable hotel- look no further. Great location in the middle of the island- with 2 huge t-shirt and souvenir stores across the street, and fabulous dining, also a Dollar General- a short walk across the street. Right by free shuttle pick-up.

The hotel staff was great, excellent customer service. However there were a few disappointments. We reserved a Family Suite (2Q and 1K bed), and was pleased with the amount of space we got, but was a little disappointed when we found the Full size bed where we thought a King would be. Also, on the last day we came down for breakfast only to discover it was closed 30 minutes early because they ran out of coffee, juice, and waffles. They let us in to grab cereal and some apples and go back to the room, but a downer not to enjoy what was advertised. The pool was warm and my kids liked playing in it, but it isn't very clean and the hot tub wasn't working. Overall we enjoyed our time, but it was worse than what we thought it was going to be. Not a bad place to go, but set your expectations low for this budget hotel.

Decent stay—provided a parking permit for one vehicle, staff was friendly enough, and it was close to everything on the island. Only complaints are that we were only provided 1 sheet as the primary blanket, the toilet water pressure was awful and would not flush, and during our 3 night stay, our trash was never taken out. Otherwise it was what you’d expect from a Super 8. Another note: if you don’t like carbs for breakfast, I’d avoid this place, since all there was for breakfast was bagels, muffins, oatmeal, cereal and waffles—not an issue for us, but a heads up to others!

We had to go out and buy all of it just so we could use the kitchenette. The pools is ran down and forget the free breakfast. It seems that there are people living there and so the crowd at breakfast is crazy and the only thing offered is the waffles. Not worth the cost to stay here and because there is zero refund when booking we were not able to go somewhere else. Never again stay at this dump. It reminds me of the section 8 housing I grew up in in Southern California.

Hello there .we usually travel not alot but mostly to the Island of South Padre Island. We have stayed on several other hotels..but these one beats them all. Everything starts at the front door. No greetings at all.the place looks good but a damp smell. The water on the hot tub was not hot i ask one your employee the night maintenance if he can raise the temperature on the hot tube.he gave me attitude and said it wasn't working. I said too bad it was warmer earlier no action what so ever.but I did slept good. .thank you. Your Personal staff needs more courtesy if you want more vacationing people to come back I'm not one of them.. thanks again.

Also, DO NOT LOSE your parking pass. It's a $25 replacement fee and there is nowhere near by to park for free and they will tow you if you don't have it. The staff here is amazing.
