Rooms were nice, clean, and well maintained each day. ISSUE with the elevator reported to the evening desk assistant who did not appear concerned. After lowering from the 2nd floor to the 1st, the elevator did not signal. The doors finally opened after pressing 1 several times but just after opening, the door started to close. The elevator door required shoving to open completly. I took the steps the remaining days of my stay but notice the elevator delayed with other guest.

This hotel was absolutely amazing!!!! We came to celebrate my Great Nieces graduation. Checking in was a breeze & the room was big, spacious, and clean. The shower was hot and refreshing and the breakfast was absolutely awesome with a plethora of food options. It's also conveniently located across the street from The Broadway Shopping Mall as well as a plethora of restaurants. The outdoor pool was crisp and clean and had a nice fitness center as well. Overall, this hotel is definitely worth staying at.

Only decent person was Collin. On top I got stuck in the elevator for 5 mins and my wife and 2 kids a different time all together for 10 mins and nothing was done about it I need this to be remedy just poor service for 850 dollars

The bathroom floor was filthy. I could feel a sticky film on the tile when barefoot. When stepping in the shower or towel after stepping on the floor, there was dirt coming off my feet. Also, the carpet was worn to the concrete in a certain area of the floor.

Bathroom lights were burnt out, hair on the "clean" towels, fecal matter on the back of the toilet seat, unknown substance on the bed cover. Asked for new towels and were given more which also had black hair on them. Could hear the "neighbor" all night long. Breakfast not good but was stocked.

Outside of hotel is fine. Check in was simple. Lobby smelled overly chemically cleaned. Room was supposed to be non smoking.. smelled like stale cigarettes. The carpet was very old and gross. Bathroom was not clean, couch was in horrible condition. Bed was comfortable and clean though. Decent enough for one night, wouldn’t stay again.

Staff is really friendly and helpful. When I got to my room I had to shove the door open it was stuck. The room has an odor not sure what all it is. Bathroom floor sticky and grime. Bed linens had stains and stunk also. Try to sit on one side and it was still damp from no telling what. I stayed a couple of hours the left at 330 am. No one was there for me to talk to at checkout. I also didn’t realize this was a smoking hotel. From the time I opened my door until I got outside it was thick of cigarette smoke. The only reason I didn’t leave was I could not afford to leave. Would never go back and can never recommend unless some serious changes were to be made.

Some repairs need to be done on the room (leaky shower, door “kick plate” was partially unscrewed and sticky out where someone could get scraped & air unit was missing all it buttons so we had to guess which was heat & ac.

Service was good. One king bedroom with no chair or sofa and no coffee table. Very inconvenient. Water doesn't drain neither in the tube and in the sink. which is nasty and disgusting. I could feel the mattress the springs of the mattress so hard. the rest was not pleasant.

This is our third day here. This hotel is very doable for the price and location we needed for staying the night in Tyler. One thing I’ve noticed since we’ve been going there the last couple of years is that the rooms are starting to get a little run down. It’s a pretty average hotel room, I guess I would be depending on your expectations.🙂

Hotel is dirty and dingy. The a/c was old with worn out buttons and the room was hot. The walls and floors are paper thin and you can hear everyone above and beside you. The bed was old and uncomfortable. I got NO sleep. Terrible experience. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. There are a lot better options in Tyler, Texas.

The staff was very nice and the hotel was clean. But the mattress needs to be burned. You could feel the springs and it was so lumpy and thin. It was so bad I almost went to sleep in the car. The car, would no doubt have been more comfortable than the mattress.

Overall the room started clean. However, if you stay multiple days they do not come in to clean the rooms. I had to bring our trash out to the carts cleaning other rooms of people who had checked out. She swapped out our towels there. I had stopped by the front desk on our way out that morning and the lady working the desk was not happy about my request to freshen the room. We had checked in two days prior, I didn’t think that was an unreasonable request. She did not add our room to the list to clean so I had to take care of it myself. The ladies cleaning the other rooms was more than helpful but it was disappointing that the request I had made in the morning was not put on the list. If you are staying multiple days it would be in the properties best interest to maintain the rooms by taking trash out and swapping out the towels.

When I got into my room the inside door handle fell off. After working to get it back on and open the door, I went to the front desk and immediately reported it. I was told they would let maintenance know to fix it the next day. ( I wasn’t even given an option to move to another room!! And the hotel was not full so there were other rooms.)Then within about 6 hours I had to have my keycard reprogrammed because it would stop working. I was blamed by the clerk and told that I must be demagnetizing it. I explained that I didn’t have anything magnetic to demagnetize it. The clerk did not respond. I had to go back to the front desk and tell them about the door handle again the next day and they acted like I was bothering them. I was told that maintenance had been notified while she got on the phone and called maintenance in front of me. I have been to this hotel many times over the last 10 years and this was by far the worst customer service I have experienced.

Location was excellent it was easy to reach the hospital. We were there for medical reasons. Many eateries within walking distance.

Hotel was in good area with dining options and a Walgreens store. It was quiet and clean, and the room had plenty of space. Staff was quite pleasant. Breakfast was the usual "free" fare. Be careful with the water temp in the bathroom. It was set too high. The rate was good and I would stay again.

This hotel was absolutely amazing!!!! We came to celebrate my Great Nieces graduation. Checking in was a breeze & the room was big, spacious, and clean. The shower was hot and refreshing and the breakfast was absolutely awesome with a plethora of food options. It's also conveniently located across the street from The Broadway Shopping Mall as well as a plethora of restaurants. The outdoor pool was crisp and clean and had a nice fitness center as well. Overall, this hotel is definitely worth staying at.

Overall, this hotel was perfectly fine for a quick one night stay. Felt safe in the neighborhood. Well lit parking. Bedsheets and towels need to be replaced. Very scratchy.

This seems to be a hotel in transition. Workers everywhere. Our room was nice; it looked freshly painted. Fairly clean; I think they had just removed an easy chair and forgot to sweep the floors after. Got up Saturday and went to breakfast, but there was a sign on the door saying "sorry, no breakfast". I think someone didn't show up for work. But saying "sorry" doesn't help; free breakfast is one thing I search for in a hotel.

Really crappy breakfast. Stale bagels, fake eggs no meat. Weird useless coffee machine. No knives to spread cream cheese on stale bagel. Room was fine, clean, check on was easy nice people.

Nothing unique with the property. The whole hotel was NOT a BW PLUS. Rooms had no chairs! Carpets were in awful condition. Ice machine on our floor was broken. Gym is small and old equipment. Breakfast food was poor quality with limited selection. Topings for oatmeat was alway gone by 8:30am. BUT, the kitchen staff were excellent! Friendly, courteous, polite and helpful! Receptionists/front desk... Matthew, Colin, & Lolly, were great. Professional, helpful and delightful! Owners need to stop doing piece meal renovations... interior looks as though there was a estate sale. Take a look at La Quinta South Tyler. They know what to do!

Location Room was downstairs like I asked One draw back was the breakfast at link sausage and there was no brown grill markings on any of the pieces and nobody was eating it. It’s so sad. That whole pan of sausage was a waste They could’ve had bacon crisp

Other than a delayed check-in, due to not getting to the hotel till nearly 11pm, I was pleasantly surprised buy the accommodations, the centralized location, very impressed by the breakfast spread AND options as well as the friendly staff.

Nice clean room. Check in staff was very friendly! Breakfast was good with menu item options. Some repairs need to be done on the room (leaky shower, door “kick plate” was partially unscrewed and sticky out where someone could get scraped & air unit was missing all it buttons so we had to guess which was heat & ac.

My daughter and I had a nice stay and felt completely safe traveling by ourselves. Room was clean, hardwood floors were nice, nothing extra fancy but was perfect for our needs. Staff offered us extra water bottles upon arrival which was a nice touch.

The toilet ran for two days and nights without interruption. The PTAC unit never cooled although the thermostat was set on 70 F. The desk clerks were apprised of these shortfalls, but no outside contractors ever arrived. The coffee being Community was excellent as well the blue berry muffins. The liquid eggs were an abomination as were the sides. I ate elsewhere! End of report.

I have a laundry list of issues. -Pool was out of order in summer and not listed as such before booking -Elevator had zero lights inside during stay (spooky ride in the dark) -TV did not work -bathroom door would not close...zero privacy - staff refused to provide receipt or contact manager - Everything was reported to desk, and either ignored or response was "I don't know" - Breakfast area was hot and not well maintained -Ice machine never produced ice -Wifi was horrible. Dial up at best. Had to tether to my cell to get online. Overall it was not a well managed property. Has potential, but needs to be better trained and better communication taught. The stay was only for a night, but it made for a very long night as the facilities hindered our rest. Luckily we were without our kids or the night might have been worse with no pool, no TV, and dial up level wifi.
