Red Mountain Resort

With very few guests on property, staff assigned me to a least desirable room with no view, next door to a snoring neighbor. Also, the fitness center was closed.

Food was very mediocre. Dining atmosphere could use an upgrade. Rooms could use an upgrade - although very clean and comfortable, they were dark. Grounds are gorgeous, nice pool and hot tubs. There should be a fitness center to work out on your own - this is a real miss!

A little dated as far as furnishings. Pools, (even the indoor pools were all closed). There was a broken T.V. cabinet, in room but staff may have have left it there not understanding the room was to be occupied via an upgrade. Staff was friendly at checkin and helpful, we opted for an upgrade and I think that made our stay more comfortable. I enjoyed outfitters and went there everyday deciding what to treat myself to. We hear everyone ask if the bike rentals at the outfiters were e-bikes, I imagine they would be a great hit if offered. We really enjoyed our stay, and the proximity to Snow Canyon was a plus. A really good location in Ivins for food, shopping and other amenities.

Relaxing restful peaceful inspiring location! Loved the yoga in snow canyon. On site spa steam room is included even if not going to do a spa service. Lovely pool. Please make a mid range restaurant. Thank you

An unmatched view out of the windows and when you come out of your door each morning. The staff at the restaurant were very kind. The gym is also incredible.

Nice stay. Beautiful grounds. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the condition of the pool and area. Jacuzzi was broken, pool chairs were in horrible condition, many even broken. not enough umbrellas and some were broken. We paid a resort fee but were unhappy with some amenities. Too bad because it is a beautiful resort in a beautiful area.

Red Mountain Resort is a fabulous place to get away from the stress of every day life. There is hiking, walking, cycling close by (at the beautiful Snow Canyon) and/or on property. There are two pools. I like the one with The view, but the other one is a better lap pool. There is also a walking labyrinth on property. The views of the red cliffs that line the property are beautiful and especially inspiring at sunrise or sunset. The resort is right next to Feel Love Cafe. They have a wonderful ambiance, delicious coffee and my favorite, a bacon cheddar scone. The staff at the front desk, restaurant and in the gift shop are all very helpful and professional. I always come back home refreshed and rested. I love this resort and I highly recommend staying here. I also used the spa services and received an excellent full body massage and a cranial sacral massage. The resort is close to Tuacahn Performing Arts center. On the previous stay, I saw the Wizard of Oz production. It was really nice to be able to be back at our room in 10 minutes, rather than having to drive an hour home. The resort is also close to the Kayenta Arts Village. There are art galleries, music on certain Fridays and 2 very good restaurants there. For its location in terms of proximity to entertainment, great food, recreation, and the quality of the staff and accommodations, this resort is spectacular!

Had a great time here, but it would have nice to know in advance or at time of check-in that the indoor pool and the hot tub by the outdoor pool were both closed for repairs. We were also given directions to wrong building where our room was. In addition we tried to call about early check-in and twice got disconnected before finally reaching someone.

Easy access to hiking and biking. Wonderful State Park within walking distance. Pools are magical!

They never cleaned room after spending 4 nights,called after 1st night and said they would clean,never showed up.

The hotel was fantastic in many ways, except for the cleaning on the bedrooms…. We stayed for three nights and they didn’t clean the bedroom a single day…. Actually they don’t do that service. At the beginning the bedroom was perfectly clean and nice, but it would be great if they clean and make the room daily! The rest of our experience was terrific!!!

The setting was amazing!!! No housekeeping on multi day stay unless requested which meant no clean cups, glasses or coffee after first night.

The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The room was impeccable, all around awesome!

Our room was a handicap accessible room. Not sure if that was the only room available. Our tv didn’t work. The shampoo bottle was used and half full. We weren’t there to use any of the facilities except for restaurant. Yep breakfast buffets cost more than dinner.

After reading some reviews that said the place was outdated and in need of a remodel, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised that that was not the case. Our room was very nice, very clean, and the whole resort looked very well kept. We will definitely stay here again.

I found a bed bug and made sure to video it. The manager moved us to a different room but didn’t offer to have clothes washed or even offer plastic bags. I actually caught it in a tissue but was stupid and have it to her. She tried to tell me when she opened it it wasn’t in there. Pretty sure she got rid of it on purpose. I started asking other employees if they have had problems with bed bugs before and was told yes by several. The manager lied and told us it has never happened before. I got zero compensation.

I booked this place because of the specific claims on the website of quiet. Kids are allowed but don't seem to be encouraged, and supposedly quiet is the standard. This was not accurate and there were other issues, as we On check-in I noticed a stain on the nightstand. I thought maybe a water ring, but when I touched it, it was sticky. I asked the FD to have someone come clean again and they stated that "maybe someone would be available tomorrow." I wiped the coffee stain up myself. At check-in, the FD told me to use the website to "navigate the experience." This failed at the first attempt the next morning when I looked at the online menu for the canyon counter and asked my husband to grab us breakfast. None of the items on the menu were available and the counter wasn't even open yet (9:30 opening time listed, it was 9:45). My husband was told "maybe the chef can make something" (this is supposed to be grab and go?) and he came back empty handed. I called to clarify and the same manager was rude, telling me that a) my husband was being dishonest and b) it wasn't her fault the website was incorrect because they had "just remodeled" the CC and the old menu and hours were no longer applicable. It's a PDF on the website that the FD instructed me to use, is it that hard to update? The pool was full of rowdy kids under ten two days in a row, parents MIA. The rafts supplied by RMR were torn up and completely disgusting. Overall a disappointment, spa was nice though.

Nice property. Off season so very few guests. Disappointed that with very few guests they put us in a room that was right next to the laundry. Very noisy in the early mornings because of the laundry staff. Pool was nice but water was dirty. A lot of leaves and insects in the water. Spa was ok. Not a great massage. Seemed like the therapist just wanted us done as fast as possible. Actual massage time was definitely not the 50 minutes. Overall a nice property, just need some attention to detail for our experience.

Peaceful, clean, comfy beds in a stunning natural setting

Was disappointed in the room. The refrigerator was a small square refrigerator that you'd find in a dorm room. No microwave. The pool and hot tub were average. Overall, the property felt outdated.

Beautiful location very very small King bed room. Did not have Mountain View nor did room have any significant amenities. Charge a “resort fee” for what I do not know. Not really worth the distance and layout. Black Desert resort better option. Also they charged my card an additional $300.00 which led to some issues for me.

Absolutely stunning surroundings! Clean spacious rooms, great balcony. Loved swimming laps in an actual la pool! Thank you to Mathew and staff for a welcoming and relaxing stay!!

The rooms are very dated, old and tired. For example, the tub/shower combination requires a person to practically climb in, which is nice if, you want to soak. However, is problematic if you’re attempting to get into the shower. In addition, The tub material is slick when wet and slightly dangerous. No bellhop to assist with luggage, even though the various parking lots are a distance away from each building where rooms are located. No elevator for second floor rooms. Consequently, having to lug luggage up and down the stairs. The under the window A/C unit was effective but the fan was very noisy. The restaurant was clean and the food was good with healthy options. The worst was their employee, Tory. She was abrasive and unfriendly. When requesting a printed folio she tersely replied it would be emailed. During a discussion regarding her poor demeanor and rude behavior, I was informed she was being “efficient”. According to Tory, as she spoke over me, if her rudeness wasn’t her intention, then her actions are to be excused. Perhaps she should have a refresher in her role in the hospitality industry.

Not what I was expecting. We had issues with parking and the proximity of our room. We also found it strange for the closet & the fridge to be located in the bathroom area. Staff was very friendly & helpful though

It’s a lovely hotel, very well kept by a friendly staff . Problem is the noise of the a/c in the rooms, that are otherwise pretty and comfortable.

Location is great, service is great, rooms are antiquated.

No adult only hot tub, children unsupervised in both indoor & out door pool. Jetted bathtub in room jets didn’t work. King bed mattress was broken down sleeping in a hole. Bathroom counter tops extremely low.

I recently stayed at the Red Mountain Resort in St. George, Utah, and while the property itself is beautiful and peaceful, my experience was a bit mixed. The surroundings were serene, and both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were fantastic. However, the room didn’t quite match the quality of the rest of the resort. There were no curtains, and the blinds let in a lot of light early in the morning, which made it hard to sleep in. Additionally, the air conditioner was extremely loud, which made for an uncomfortable night's rest. Overall, the resort is lovely, but the room could use a few improvements to match the standard of the rest of the property.

The room, and hotel, are in need of some love but was ok for a night. However, we were on the second floor, no elevator and……we could not shower as there was only a very deep tub (that neede a step stool) and it was too close to the vanity to even swing your legs in. Very disappointing

The property is stunning and the room was sufficiently comfortable with a great large bathroom to share with a friend! Quiet and peaceful environment. Where I would lower my review is staff not being very attentive or welcoming. This was from checking in to dining or even meeting with the management team while scoping for a possible event. Finally, the food buffet was not very fresh, and lead us to seek breakfast elsewhere. I hope that they improve this because overall it's a perfect place to come take in the beauty of the land.

No daily room service or cleaning of rooms - rooms could be updated, resort fee tacked on at checkout of $134 -(which was unclear).

We checked in very late and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and views were stunning in the morning. Walkable trails and the large labyrinth on site add to the experience. The spa and the technicians were excellent! Would recommend the ‘Diva for a day’ (pedicure, massage, facial), well priced and such a good experience. The view out of the waiting room is breathtaking. After our spa day, we did a take away dinner from the restaurant to enjoy in our room, which was also very good. All the staff on premises were great to talk to and work with.

Beautiful setting. Exceptional staff.

Ordered wake up call, no one called, missed my canoe trip. Then lied said they called. No cleaning room service - mind you 250 dollars per night and no house keeping service. When inquired they told me that it was written on the map they gave me when they were explaining to me where my room was. They somehow forgot to mention this little detail. Breakfast- waited half an hour to get bacon and breakfast potatoes as they did not have enough staff to prep the breakfast and serve it. Mind you 32 dollars breakfast buffet and no food!! Looked for a tea bag but the box was empty and no one noticed that while preparing breakfast. However, the people were generally nice and accommodating. Poor management though and when confronting management about the above issues I ran into an attitude and rudeness . So the place is beautiful, spa was incredible and overpriced, lovely landscape but this place needs different and more professional management .

Hidden gym. Lovely property with breathtaking views. Are able to walk straight from the resort to hiking trails. Only minutes drive from Tuacahn Amphitheater.

We had a great stay at the resort. The activities looked amazing . I wish we could have stayed longer. The easy access to snow canyon was perfect.

5 stars to the guest room amenities, all staff members including front desk, spa reception, and Canyon Breeze. 5 stars to outstanding fitness rooms and instructors. MELT with Kim W. (reduce muscular soreness+) and the Puebloan pottery class were standouts. SPA treatments were done by highly skilled and caring providers (shout out to Michella, Cody, Nancy and Trevor). 5 stars for the plants landscaping which allowed for great viewings from the flowering plants to the lizards and avian life. 5 stars dog friendly 4.5 stars Sagestone Spa and Canyon Breeze restaurant. >The spa had great relaxing lounge+views. Shower+steam rooms clean with ample supplies of products. >The restaurant had great service and delicious food (don't skip the desserts!) and gluten free selections. No menu changes across 4 evenings and no daily specials on weekend as were told. 3 stars to administration and computerized systems as were lacking; poor & mis-communications while onsite and advance booking difficulties for treatments. 2 stars Canyon Counter cafe; very limited selection with common items out of stock. Wishes: -recycling bins -trail maintenance eg from rain washouts for easier walking -outfitters open after dinner and with XL or better women sizes -other spa amenities between treatments like IR or dry sauna, stretching room, private pool or hot tub (there's a nearby so-called spa pool where noisy families also gather). Some above items might improve during the high season?

Very quick stay but beautiful and tranquil. We ate breakfast on site and it was VERY good, VERY fresh. Will definitely stay here again.

Fabulous location for anyone visiting the Tuchman Theatre. We ate at the Canyon Breeze Restaurant and thought the food and service exceptional.

great staff but food was average.

The resort was lovely! We were very pleased with our room. We didn’t make a reservation at the restaurant. It felt a little put off that we didn’t. There were 2 tables set and 1 person at the bar. I feel the menu could use more options. (Especially sides)

Check in was great, friendly and prompt. Bartender was good, food prices were reasonable but unknowledgeable waiter regarding both food and alcohol questions as well as the wine prices were astronomical, much higher than other places in Utah. Spa was mediocre and overall this was no more than a 3 1/2 star property. The big selling point is that the rooms are wonderful and spacious! However, the addition of every aspect as well as only 1 restaurant/bar, which closes extremely early is not sufficient. You can hear the roadway when outside which does take away feim the serenity.

The staff were so incredible! Of course the location is amazing--beautiful sunset views from all over the resort, easy access to all the trails in Snow Canyon (some are close enough for a pre-breakfast walk from the resort)--but the kindness of the staff really made the visit special for us. The breakfast buffet was also great--do not miss! I cannot wait for my next visit!
