The only reason I didn't request a room change or go to a different hotel entirely was because I was exhausted and arriving late from a wedding. I was given a room on a floor undergoing active renovations. All the flooring was ripped up, so it was just concrete with a dirty rug in the hallways. There were paint buckets, tools and exposed wiring everywhere in the hallways. In my room the laminate in the bathroom area was peeling up and stuck to my feet, and as I was checking out the next morning, I discovered a moldy sippy cup between the bed and the night stand. I've had good experiences at La Quintas in the past, but this was by far and away the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Oh and also, I picked this hotel because it promoted it had a pool/hot tub. They're closed during renovations as well.

The room was great, there was plenty of space in the suite. The breakfast was a very nice spread. When our family travels, there are 9 of us so we look for places with a good selection for breakfast and this one did not disappoint!! I also enjoy it's location. It is within walking distance to plenty of places to eat and shop.
