Front desk was very nice. We w were given a room that was in the process of being cleaned. We decided to wait in the lobby. Front desk never asked why we Were waiting with luggage. After 45 minutes she finally asked and checked to see how long. Finally changed rooms. We went to swim and the pool was broke. It was ICE cold. As was the hot tub. They had complementary coffee and hot water for hot cocoa. When we dispensed the hot water, it was yellow with black chunks. The area felt a little sketchy. I didnt dare go to my car by myself. Staff was friendly, maybe a bit oblivious

The good was that the beds were super comfy, hotel was quiet and we slept great. The disappointment was that the pool was out of order, ice machine broken, the treadmill in the fitness center was broken, the shower water pressure was so low I couldn’t wash my hair and the fitness center was a so hot it felt like a hot yoga classroom. Would not stay here again, but glad the beds were super comfy!

We had a difficult time finding the hotel because it did not say Hampton it said Spark. Apparently Hampton is in the process of remodeling so much of the hotel was inaccessible. Somehow this was not mentioned in the listing. The advertised breakfast was unavailable. The check in desk wasn’t open. It was just a closet sized room with a window. We had trouble accessing the WiFi.

Staff was great but the hotel was under construction and I was not notified through hotels.com . We booked this with several friends and with the gym , pool and lobby was closed there were no place to hang out with friends except the rooms.

The property is under construction. The pool is closed and starting at 7am its just noise. If i would have known that i would have picked a different hotel. The elevator roof was broke and every time we used it felt like it was going to break. The staff was really friendly but i wish i would have known about the pool closer and construction.

Stayed one night while travelling through Salt Lake City, I had booked far in advance. Was very disappointed to arrive to find out that they were renovating. We were not given fore warning about this, as we could have gone to another Hilton property. The lady at the desk was not very welcoming and we felt like we were bothering her for service. There was a spilled drink in the front lobby that remained there for hours before it was ever cleaned up. All amenities at the hotel were closed due to renovations (other than breakfast was still served). I specifically chose a Hilton brand hotel because when I was a business traveler I found them to be clean, very courteous/attentive staff. Our room however was clean but we were woken up at 5 am by what sounded like a generator running. Very disappointed, I will not return to this particular hotel.

The ladies are front desk were very nice! The carpet and furniture in the room was so dirty and stained. It was bad! Hotel was sold out and we were in a room next to an unhappy baby all night so they could not move us.

The room itself was clean. The people were noisy on the floor above us and all in the hallway on our actual floor. We checked in around 9 pm and the noise didn’t stop til around midnight to 1 am or so. This includes some kind of alarm or beeping in the hallway. People screaming, yelling and laughing in the hallway, slamming doors, and a dog barking. I booked the hotel for my family with I not knowing they were renovating so in the back there was construction debris, old matresses piled up etc. The lobby was completely closed. No breakfast except “to go” jt was just packages or tea and coffee and water. I wasn’t able to checkout in the morning because their systems were down due to moving their computers to a small office where we had to checkout.

I think the girl at the desk was awesome she was very friendly. Considering the hotel was under construction and the lobby was super hot no pool or exercise room or breakfast area we were well taken care of. The room was really nice very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would stay there again the next time im in the area.

Hotel being switched to a Spark by Hilton, so name did not match when we pulled in. Main lobbywas under construction, so had to gomin side door, not a big issue. We had booked this hotel for the amenities, a hot breakfast buffet, pool, hot tub, coffee in room, etc. None of these available. Our room had been renovated and was nice, nut not finished. TV not programmed, refrigerator not working, no desk chair and still had plastic and tags on furniture/ lamps etc. If their web site told of all this, would not have been so disappointing.

We were the first to stay in our newly remodeled room. It was great! Comfortable bed, clean and quiet. Liked the TV. Would of rated highest but we had not just 1 housecleaning person but 2 different times, try to enter our room prior to checkout time. Guess they were in a hurry to flip it. The desk staff were awesome.

Most the outlets in the room didn’t work. Not in a great area of town. Staff was nice, breakfast was typical. Shower head was terrible, no pressure, and it took forever to get hot.

Don’t do it. It is not longer the Hampton Inn even though it says it is online. It is now “Spark” and is under renovation which also is not stated online. We got there; the pool was closed, the kids were very upset. The place was a dirty mess. There was only 1 gal working the desk at 6 pm on a Friday. Stood in line for 30 + minutes while she checked in a tour bus of tourists. We ended up walking out and getting rooms at the SpringHill Suites down the road. I called and requested a refund, she was nice and got that taken care of for me.

Waited about 20 minutes for a staff member to show up and check us in. There literally was nobody around for 20 minutes! Eventually what appeared to be a lady from the cleaning staff came out just said “uno momento” with a finger up. Then a gal came racing in from the parking lot and checked us in (3 parties waiting). She provided no explanation of why the long wait nor apologized. Really poor service! Made us late for our appointment.

They were nice, had a good breakfast, fruit, and cookies available, and bottled water. Just don’t sleep in room 102 on the first floor at end of hall next to the Maintenance Room. There’s a loud machine that sounds like an air compressor that goes off 20 minutes at a times! Woke us at 3 a.m. and even in the evening. Plus we had Do Not Disturb on door and they entered room anyway. Good thing we were in there.

While checking in, I pre paid my stay with Expedia. The front desk agent didnt want to confirm with expedia that my payment had already been pre paid, got frustrated and then just re charged me again for the night. She also over charged me. She knew I was pre paid, spoke to an agent at Expedia, the agent provided her with a phone number to verify payment, but instead she said "im not calling them" and then asked me to run my card for "incidentals". Instead she just recharged me at a higher rate. I cant be the first person to use Expedia at a Hampton Inn. Come on. Train your employees better. Plus the pet room was super dirty and stinky. I didnt even dare walking around without shoes on as the carpety was stained black.

This hotel is located in an industrial area. There are some restaurants around, but to get to Salt Lake City or the ski areas east of the city, you have to negotiate complicated highway cloverleafs. We found this cumbersome. We caught a man attempting to break into our vehicle at about 7 pm one evening and made a point of parking as close to the hotel and in lighted areas as possible after that. The hotel was a little run down. The ice machine didn’t work, the closet door squeaked badly, the shower faucet wouldn’t stay where you put it, and the walls were thin. That said, the staff work hard to make your stay pleasant, and eating at nearby Chungas was a highlight.

Extremely clean rooms, comfortable bed, front desk staff was wonderful. Only downside was the area around the hotel had nothing, it’s more of an industrial area.

We had a difficult time finding the hotel because it did not say Hampton it said Spark. Apparently Hampton is in the process of remodeling so much of the hotel was inaccessible. Somehow this was not mentioned in the listing. The advertised breakfast was unavailable. The check in desk wasn’t open. It was just a closet sized room with a window. We had trouble accessing the WiFi.

It is not the Hampton Inn any more. It is Spark by Hilton. We spent alot of time driving up and down the street that the hotel is on, looking fof the Hampton Inn, and not being able to find it. Expedia needs to update this. They also should say that the hotel is being renovated so many features were not available. No breakfast.

The hotel is under construction and is now called Spark, a Hilton brand. The furniture and decor is kind of hip but more Ikeas like. The room was clean but there is a construction smell in the hallways. There was basically no breakfast. Cold sugar cereals, bagels, small yogurts which we skipped. We went next door to a cute restaurant called Dee's and had a great breakfast. Hopefully they'll be done with construction soon.

Hotel has recently undergone a name change, so it was confusing as it differed from my reservation. Breakfast bar was good but not kept stocked continuously when items ran out. Outside parking lot looked worn and not maintained.

Whole building was under maintenance. There was nothing posted about it. This was a family trip and we where excited to use the pool which is why we booked here. Only to find out it was closed
