I only stayed 1 night but it was very nice and friendly people and staff but i rented 2 rooms beds were comfortable besides one of the mattress was well broken in to where when u sat on the bed u kinda fell into a hole and when u slept u got stuck there and pool was great kids had a great time but had it not been for the bed i would've rated excellent

The hotel was clean and the pool was nice but our shower and bathroom sink didn’t drain and the beds were extremely hard. It’s exactly what you’d expect for the cheap price it was at.

Staff is friendly, nice pool, good breakfast. Could use some updating but overall good for small market that it is

Easy to find easy parking

The drive up to the hotel had ton of potholes. The hotel smelled old and dirty. The tub looked it had soap scum and had not been cleaned properly. The toilet seat looked old and worn. Outside the property there was litter. The corn hole games had one bean bag. One positive of the stay is that the breakfast was good and the staff all seemed nice.

Nice and ok hotel, some wear and tear. Pool was under maintenance, the gym was small and equipment not working properly. Friendly staff.

Mostly clean but the floors in the room need to be washed; I wiped up spilled water and the tissue came up black with dirt. The remote and phone are grungy and beyond looking clean. It was still a good value for the price.

This was a terrible property. The furniture had multiple rips. The floor was peeling and taped together. The windows were Duct taped around the exterior. Interior carpets were dirty and stained. There was trash and rusty bottle caps around the pool area. Water droplets were dripping from the ceiling of our first room, and TV and phones weren’t connected in our second room. This property was dismal.

The rooms were good, easy parking, the best thing is the staff, very friendly and helpful staff. However, they need to work on furniture, the double beds need to be wider.

I was happily surprised by the size of our room and the breakfast that was served. Reminds me of how hotel stays *used* to be back in early 2000s. Room was 2 beds, plus a pull out couch, coffee table, desk, large mini fridge, and all the little things that used to be standard (iron, ironing board, luggage rack, etc) The room felt like a mini apartment and it was wonderful. Breakfast included all the cold and toaster options like cereal/bagels/fruit, but also had amazing scrambled eggs, bacon, homefry potatoes, sausage gravy, and a waffle maker. Literally the best hotel breakfast I've had since i was a kid. Pool looks gorgerous, lots of gazebos and picnic tables outside of the pool area, really would have liked to stay longer. The building itself is a little...experienced lol ok theres some cracks here and there and some chipped paint etc, but not to the point that you feel unsafe or anything. Just looks like its seen a lot of people over the years. If you have kids or a large group, i especially recommend.

The hotel needs a lot of attention. In the room we had the towel holder on the wall was literally hanging in a extended screw! The shower floor was black. The walls are so thin, that we could hear everything in the rooms down and up from up us. The breakfast was not good, Do not stay here! I went and complained and she said Oh sorry, we have a lot of guest!!! Are you Kidding me!

The first room we were assigned to was not clean and they had to give us another one, but that’s at the tone for the trip. The second room was clean, but the security lock did not work, which concern me. The water in the bathroom faucet was slow.

The room advertised online is not the room I paid for. The pics of the room online is incorrect. The 3rd party I booked with called the hotel to see how we could resolve this but neither one, the hotel or 3rd party wanted to take responsibility for what I thought I paid for based on the pics online. I don't think that was fair to me. The staff were great in checking on me because my sole purpose of being there was to, under Drs orders, get away, relax, soak in a hot tub to get my blood pressure down because I am under a lot of stress. This whole situation stressed me even more because I didn't get what I paid for. I killed 4 roaches the 1st night to the point I had the front desk give me a can of spray and killed 2 more the next day. This isn't my 1st or 2nd time staying her, in the same rm I've always got and what was advertised mind you, but I think it's my last. It may seem simple to some but I really needed to relax and just couldn't there.

This property was the worst. As soon as we entered and turned the lights on upon arrival, roaches scattered. There were multiple small and medium sized roaches in that room. The room had a terrible smell, the floor hadn Ben swept because there was dead roaches on the floor!

This place could benefit from an inspection. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They just didn’t seem to be properly equipped to serve how I know they would like to. The food ran out at the breakfast area, A Ladder took up much space in the laundry room and wasn’t tended to (lint balls, dropped socks). Shower rod left hanging on one mount- other mount disconnected, Chair on room soiled with arms threadbare and ripped- showing the stuffing. Stains in hallway carpet. Again, the staff was super nice and the guests were all pleasant, though I felt bad for the mom who complained that her kids didn’t get to have breakfast due to food running out. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning and was friendly.

The bed was very comfortable. Although the room needed some updates, it was OK. Good enough for a transcient night

Check in was quick, room was clean and comfortable. We were in room 111 and the room above us had a dog and people who stomped and pitter pattered on the floor all night. I called the front desk at 11:00pm when they advised they would contact the occupant but it continued ALL night! Suggestion to staff: all guests with pets should be placed on the first floor. Did not get a restful night of sleep.

Air conditioning was good. The beds were small and uncomfortable. My biggest complaint was the backed up toilet that was constantly on the verge of over flowing and had a green tinge to it.

We liked the friendliness at check in and the breakfast bar was better than most motels. However, its an older motel and the sound insulation between walls and floors is not particularly good.

This went on very late the first night. The night before we were checking out 7/5, the noise was back in hall again, we were leaving. At 6 AM and needed sleep. I called the front desk to as them to talk to the parties. Was over 1/2 hour before we noticed a difference.

The manager of this hotel, Sherri went over and above for us. We had left some important clothes and she went out and shipped them overnight for us and then followed up with me continuously until they arrived. The hotel staff was very friendly, the place was very clean and the breakfast was great. I would recommend this hotel whenever you're in the Alta vista area.

Crystal Gayle was exceptionally nice and very helpful, plus we had a pleasant conversation. The room was much more than what I had expected. I'll be staying there again as my travels permit.

If it wasn't for the chain on the door they would have barged into our room three times. They gave someone else our room key and the people tried to come into our room while we were changing for a wedding. The next morning the cleaning staff tried to enter twice while there was a Do Not Disturb sign on the boor. We brought it up to the front desk and nothing was done about it. They spoke with us like it was a common occurrence.

The experience was ok, cleanliness of the hotel was alright. Service was excellent. Hotel is dated and needs to be updated and lower level rooms are extremely humid even after the AC has been ran for hours. I had an issue with the bathroom getting flooded and it turns out a pipe became disconnected, they were prompt in resolving the matter and cleaned the bathroom and gave me clean linens. The only other issue is not with the hotel but with the guests, be expected to be woken up at 4am to 5am during the week as doors are constantly opened and slammed as the workers go to work. That is a common courtesy that I would have assumed would be followed but what do I know.

I enjoyed the first half of my stay at this establishment until there was a serious issue. And once the issue occurred, I gave them every opportunity to do something; anything, to show that they cared. Instead all I received was lip service. My family and I stayed in two rooms. My room had no issues. However, during the second night of our stay my daughter noticed a bed bug crawling across the mattress of one of the beds in her room. To make a long story short, the manager Brandon, told me the general manager Sherry would have to resolve the issue. She seemed sincere when I initially spoke to her on the phone, promising to approve any credit Expedia requested, because she wanted me to be satisfied with my stay. I really don’t know what changed once we got off of the phone, but I never received a credit. And when I followed up with her, she claimed that Expedia said I wanted a credit for my whole stay, and she hadn’t approved that. I told her that wasn’t the case. She then said her exterminator noticed no signs of bed bugs in that room. Not sure if that was the truth or not, but we showed the bed bug to an employee on the night in question and took pictures as well. I made it clear that I really just wanted some form of compensation for the inconvenience, for the room in question. No one was bitten, thankfully, but we had to change rooms and I also had the risk of taking bed bugs home with me. She said she understood, would follow up with me and never did. Truly unacceptable.

We always stay here when visiting family. It's so convenient and in good value. They do need to fix the white paint spots on the LVP floor in the bathroom, Otherwise the room is fine

Fine place. Obviously tried to do some renovations but it shows some wear. Staff was incredibly friendly. Convenient location to Liberty. Expensive on graduation weekend but all hotels take advantage by boosting prices when they know there's an event. They at least didn't do it as long as some respect there.

Location was ideal. Right off the highway. Quiet area. Was okay for a quick stop to rest. No frill room but it suited our needs and was reasonably priced.

Was grateful to stay here with last minute booking when another hotel we had a room with had a broken circuit breaker and no power and had to be refunded our money with no open rooms! The lady at front desk was very cheery and friendly. Our room was tidy and clean; beds comfortable. Was just somewhat noisy from the floor above us. Hairdryer did not work. Overall, it was satisfactory stay and I was thankful to get a room close to the college.

Spent the weekend in VA and stayed here. Everything was alright. The check in process was quick, they a cozy lobby, and straightforward small hotel. Service staffs are friendly as well. Cleanliness was okay, it was little loud outside with people celebrating for a graduation party, people smoking weed as well. The hallways were loud with children running around and screaming in the early morning and loud chattering from people walking by. You also have to be early for their breakfast because they are gone by 9:30, we have to ask kitchen staff to replenish some food there’s not much options to choose from.

It was a little noisy being on the floor with work crews staying at the hotel. Breakfast could have been better. Instead of scrambled eggs, one day they served hard boiled eggs for breakfast. No appreciated!

The Continental breakfast was great. Actually had REAL Eggs and the orange juice tasted like freshly squeezed. The lady who checked us in was nice and friendly.
