We loved the location which is very close to the State Park with Tom's cove. Which is great if you want calmer warmer water. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because the pool was so nice. Location made it more quite but yet there are places around it you can walk too. They had a continental breakfast to start the day. Hotel was clean and had easy parking! Very relaxing trip!

The Desk clerk when we got there was great. But the sink in our room was plugged, The set up for handicapped people was absurd. Parking is in the back of the hotel but the ramp was in the front. The pool wasn't just for hotel guests, but for the community. And it was a little hard to find the hotel from the street.

This was in a great location. Close to everything in Chincoteague and a short drive to Assateague. The pool and grounds were in great condition. The staff was friendly. Only downsides were the room was a bit humid, and the continental breakfast was meager.

This is a very old hotel and it shows. It looks and feels shabby and dirty. At some point you can\'t clean nasty old carpets. There is no elevator and the stairs are very steep and non-accessible. I\'d requested an accessible room due to a knee injury. We arrived around 6:30 pm. There is only one person who can check you in and he was gone when we got there. We waited nearly 20 min. Some woman stood behind the counter and awkwardly stared at us while we waited. Eventually, the man drove up in front of the hotel and came and checked us in. He put us upstairs. We asked about an accessible room. Sorry. Too bad. That was all they had. The bed was comfortable. We skipped "breakfast". It\'s set up directly below the open stairs. No sneeze guard. Everyone leans over the wall directly over the food. They only had a waffle maker, coffee and a few slices of stale looking bread and a toaster. It was sad looking. We would not recommend staying here unless it\'s the last option. The location is convenient to the beach and wildlife refuge.

We came and there were no towels in our room . Breakfast consists of stale cereal and only waffles as a choice. No fruit or muffins. The carpet was very sandy under our feet and sticky.

The bathroom door was separating and in spite of multiple screws and nails added in an apparent attempt to fix it, the door would not close except with help from a second person outside the bathroom. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned inside in awhile. There were tiny black spots in the bowl. The carpets felt sticky to a bare foot, and the curtains are not wide enough to keep the lights on the front of the hotel from steaming in the edges. The entire room felt damp in spite of the setting chosen on the air conditioner. When we arrived the air conditioner wasn’t even plugged in. The outside pool was in great condition.

Loved the bed and plenty of pillows. This is an older hotel, nothing fancy, but everything works as it should. Very comfortable, microwave and fridge were clean and in great condition. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. The breakfast wasn't the best, cereal, some whole fruit, and waffles but only one waffle maker. Great for kids, though, ours were thrilled with the waffles. Our room was very clean, didn't smell like chemicals to cover any scent. Pool was clean and in good shape. Walking to food, shops, water park. Would definitely stay again

Second night had ants in bed Management said at first we were to blame for having food in the room did finally give another room. Carpets were very dirty as I walked around in the room after taking a shower without shoes and the bottom of my feet were black also room had a musty smell covered up with a lot of room deodorant

Needs remodeling. The hotel is old, outdated, and needs a little sound-proofing. I was not happy about being given a double bed upon arrival despite my reservation being a king, but the proprietors were nice and moved us to a king the 2nd night.....but without a refund for the difference or compensation for another night in the future. Good location, and we got some good recommendations for eateries.

Our l room reeked of pine cleaner. The room was badly in need of a major renovation. The bathroom was sadly old and falling apart. The caulk around the perimeter of the bathroom was incomplete. The front of the sink vanity was lopsided and was falling at on side. Everything in the room felt wet. Sitting on the chair it felt wet and the bed felt the same way. The plugs on the table and desk didn’t work. This was not a quality inn standard. We didn’t complain since there were not a lot of rooms available. The air conditioner worked well and the two staff people we met were very nice. We will not be going back again and will not stay at Quality inn.

The room was comfortable. Had an issue using the coffee maker as there weren’t enough electric outlets and had to move it to the dresser to use it. The bathroom was not set up for short persons as the towel rack is very high. The handicap ramp is one one side of the building but the parking is on the other side. Even with all these issues, the stay was okay.

Mostly comfortable. Rooms are small. Beds are right next to a/c unit. Not any fault of hotel. Rooms would be fine with 1 king bed. But 2 full size makes it hard to move with 3 people. Loved everything else. Very quiet. Perfect spot. Manager is very helpful and willing to help anyway he can.

Well located, quiet, clean room. Comfortable beds. Easy parking. Sri at the front desk was super helpful and attentive to our needs. Excellent customer service. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was nice and everything was clean. very conveniently located close to the beach and nearby shops. front desk help was hard to find at check in and check out. had to wait 10mins at check in for someone to come which is fine because we got there later in the evening, however when we went to check out at around 830, we waited 15mins for someone to come at which point we wrote a note and left our key at the desk and they didnt email me my invoice for another 15mins. so we would have waited 30mins just for someone to come to the desk for us to check out. very friendly and helpful staff, just hard to find when we needed them.

The hotel was nice and everything was clean. very conveniently located close to the beach and nearby shops. front desk help was hard to find at check in and check out. had to wait 10mins at check in for someone to come which is fine because we got there later in the evening, however when we went to check out at around 830, we waited 15mins for someone to come at which point we wrote a note and left our key at the desk and they didnt email me my invoice for another 15mins. so we would have waited 30mins just for someone to come to the desk for us to check out. very friendly and helpful staff, just hard to find when we needed them.

Had to wait with no one available about ten minutes at check in. Reservation was for 4 people but only 2 towels in room. Sink had no stopper in sink. Second night had ants in bed Management said at first we were to blame for having food in the room did finally give another room. Carpets were very dirty as I walked around in the room after taking a shower without shoes and the bottom of my feet were black also room had a musty smell covered up with a lot of room deodorant

To start, check-in was 3 PM. We arrived at 2:40 the rude woman at the front desk said there’s no rooms available, that we were early, and to come back in an hour yet we were only 20 minutes early. Then she charged my credit card while we were gone, even though I requested to pay in cash. She couldn’t or wouldn’t reverse that. Then our room STANK!! A light fixture had no shade, threre were moth holes in the “blackout” curtains, lots of them, the tub was stained but the stench was unreal!!! Like urine, mildew throughout even the hallway, but the room even worse. It was the second worst hotel experience of my life. One good thing, the location was convenient

Discovered this place last minute last summer when we had to escape a sketchy campsite, and we were pleasantly surprised to the point that we came back for my birthday weekend. This time we found amazing hot water, which was great because we needed several showers after all the walking we did. We could leave our car at this Days Inn as we could easily walk to get food since it was right by a Chinese restaurant and Family Dollar. McDonalds was an easy walk, and beyond that was a boardwalk through the wetlands where I saw a ton of birds on two treks out of our room. The main area of the National Wildlife Refuge and the beach are too far to make walking practical, but all that including successful wild pony sightings was within a 10 minute drive. If it had been warmer, we could have rented bikes right between the Days Inn and McDonalds, and if you fail to see the wild ones there are a few tame ponies behind the rental shop! Once again, this hotel was in an overall great location to which us birdwatchers will return!

The manager was more than accommodating and friendly, working with our travel plans. Very nice location to walk or ride bicycles. Take a right hand turn and you're at Chincoteague Beach in just over a mile.

We stayed here in the middle of March during the offseason. My partner and I were the only people in the entire hotel on our first night because most of the other rooms were being renovated. We did not receive the advertised free breakfast, but besides that our stay was lovely. Very quiet, clean, and the one staff member we encountered was nice. Right by some shopping areas and walkable to others! We had a great time here.

Good place to stay. I will be back next time I'm visiting that area. Breakfast could use some improvement if that means a lot to you. Good coffee but a small selection of foods.

The staff was very nice, and house keeping did a good job cleaning. The property is run down: holes in the bathroom walls where the old shower curtain mounts were pulled out, stained chair in the room, leaky toilet that partially refilled itself every ten minutes. The breakfast was a waffle maker, cereal, toast and sausage. It was OK if you can make due. The coffee was not good. The location was great and the grounds were in good condition.

The people were friendly and enjoyed our stay. The only issue came when more people arrived and we’d go down for breakfast to find that almost all the food was gone. Overall, though, no major complaints!

Said breakfast included. It was a choice of white, wheat, or rye bread. Did not see a toaster. Yet there was a limited selection of prepackaged jelly for your bread. Ugh!! It was what looked to be old cereal in a near-empty dispenser. I had to go to a local diner and spend $27 for a not-so-great omelet. Would not go back to the area as it was way less than impressive. Quite boring and had to pay $10 just to see the beach.

Loved the bed and plenty of pillows. This is an older hotel, nothing fancy, but everything works as it should. Very comfortable, microwave and fridge were clean and in great condition. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. The breakfast wasn't the best, cereal, some whole fruit, and waffles but only one waffle maker. Great for kids, though, ours were thrilled with the waffles. Our room was very clean, didn't smell like chemicals to cover any scent. Pool was clean and in good shape. Walking to food, shops, water park. Would definitely stay again

The location was inviting, and the staff was friendly. However, despite the advertised breakfast, visitors should not rely on this during your visit. "Breakfast" consisted of coffee and slices of bread for toast. The juice machine was "Out of Order" and nothing was made available.

The room smelled awful. The walls and ceiling had large ugly stains. The bathroom sink would not drain unless you reached into the dirty water to pull up the plug. The commode got clogged 2 times with poor water pressure. The walls are so thin we could here the neighbors conversations and their small children running, screaming and hitting walls until well past 10pm amd their TV past midnight. For $250+ per night.....YOU (WYNDAM) SHOULD DO BETTER!!!! We will never stay at another Wyndam hotel.

Hotel is rundown: carpet on staircase is ripped and filthy, no elevator to go up the upstairs rooms so that staircase is mainly the only way up. The room was disgustingly dirty, the smell as you enter the room is overwhelming, a mix of mold and body odors and other.. room carpet is worst than the staircase carpet, discolored and overly worn. Dirt and trash around trashcan, I am guessing the room was not vacuumed before my arrival and only the trash bin was emptied. Missing lampshade. Mold with dark spots in bathroom floor and on ceilings, clogged bathroom sink. I stayed only 2 nights out of the 4 nights that I have booked. I could not imagine myself sleeping one of more night in this smelling filth of a room and therefore I had to check out early. It’s a shame that being in the hospitality business, this hotel management and staff have stopped caring and cannot do the bare minimum to keep up with basic sanitary practices.
