This was a very nice, clean property. Breakfast was awesome and we really enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. It was close to hiking in Chincoteague. We saw lots of birds and ducks.

This is our 3rd visit for this hotel. This place sets the standard for hospitality. Every hotel manager and hotel chain CEO on the East Coast should come to this hotel to get a clinic on how to give outstanding service and maintaining a beautiful property. The rates are definitely not cheap, but, you get what you pay for. The waterfront rooms with the sleeper sofa is a good size for a family of 4. Parking is free. Even homemade cookies in the late afternoon. Plenty of seating on the back deck to watch the beautiful sunsets. Rooms are always spotless and. There are plenty of hotels with higher price tags that are nowhere near as good. We will be back.

Can’t say enough good things about our 4 night stay here. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful breakfast room/lobby, lovely indoor pool/hot tub, cookies and hot chocolate in the evenings, great location and view!

Great hotel. Again disappointed that we could not access the Amazon Prime app or use our fire stick. Toilet is low flow and low to the ground. Water pressure is not the best. Towels are not plush. Gym and breakfast good. WiFi good, parking good. Location good. We had a good sized balcony and had a slight view of water. They were nice and let us take some ice for our cooler.

The entire hotel was clean and well maintained and beautifully decorated for Christmas . We enjoyed the small touches like the towels and toilet paper folded fancy and toiletries provided as well as the beautiful and peaceful view of the water.

My partner and I went to Chincoteague for four days to relax and do some outdoor photography. The staff was always friendly and welcoming. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. It had a mini-fridge and microwave, which was so convenient when we had leftovers from dining out at Bill's Prime. The food at Bill's was perfection - highly recommend going. It's not "super fancy" but still upscale and enjoyable. The view of the bay from our room was spectacular, and the sunsets were lovely. Even though it was cold out, we sat on the balcony with some hot tea to watch the sunset. The bed was comfy, the bathroom amenities were plentiful and high-quality, the hotel was quiet, and the breakfast was full of options for a "breakfast included" hotel. The price for the room in "off season" was very inexpensive - We almost couldn't believe how cheap it was when we booked it. We're definitely going back to this Hampton Inn again.

We have stayed here several times and it was a wonderful stay as always. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our AC unit was making a loud noise so they upgraded us to a waterfront room with no problem.

What an amazing experience for my family. The BEST hotel we have ever stayed at. Very clean, everyone was so friendly, helpful and treated you like family. Bob one of the employees was incredible that stood out amongst the others. He would open your door if your hands were full, he was always seen cleaning something and never did I see him standing still. He created genuine conversations while working hard to accommodate the guests , keep the property clean and someone always in sight to ask any questions you have. Overall the staff is a 5 Star and Bob is 10 Stars if that was a thing. Thank you for a great and memorable vacation!

My husband were here for a two night stay and we have stayed here previously. We really like the location and the easy walk into town. It's close to a fun outdoor tiki bar, several restaurants, and many cute shops with lots of things by local artists. Our large room was very, very clean and comfortable. The reason I gave it only 4 stars for staff is that when we checked out in the morning, the staff on duty did not acknowledge us at all and we were turning in the key at the counter - face to face! No good morning or smile or anything. There was a personable young guy that checked us in and if it had only been him, I would have given 5 stars for staff. Other staff we passed during out stay were also friendly.

The ladies at the front desk were awesome and were able to check us in a little earlier (a courtesy that I was grateful for). They were helpful and gave us great suggestions for the area- A service! What was weird is that our bathroom had a vent yet there was no switch to turn it on making multiple showers gruesome.

Beautiful view of the water and marshland. Sitting on the balcony was so relaxing. Room was clean, breakfast was good and the location is close to shops you can walk to. As wonderful as all that was the staff were all amazing. They were friendly and kind and focused on customer service and satisfaction. Highly recommend!

This was a very nice, clean property. Breakfast was awesome and we really enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. It was close to hiking in Chincoteague. We saw lots of birds and ducks.

This is my second stay here. It is an amazing experience, breathtaking views from balcony and dining area. All personnel very friendly. Hot breakfast is very good with a selection for any taste. However, many flies in the kitchen and eating area, really need to work controlling the flies, maybe lights zapper or something else. In the accessibility, Rm 203 handicap room, the security bar inside the walk in shower is a couple of inches off nor permitting the shower door slide completely, this do not let enough space for a person enter into the shower.

We had a delay starting our 7 hour drive to Hampton Inn in Chincoteague, Va. 3hours out, in the middle of a terrible rainstorm, wife astutely called to request a late check in and was immediately informed that her reservation had been cancelled that very afternoon. WHAT? Wife had called the day before to confirm our reservation and was assured we were booked. Turns our credit card company had paused our card pending arrival of monthly payment (in the mail). Hampton had our phone number by which they could have informed us...but sent e-mail to our laptop instead..which we did not see due to packing and driving. Had wife not called ahead, we would have arrived at Hampton at 1am only to find that we had no accommodation..Fortunately, we were able to find the next to the last room elsewhere, at more than double the cost. Hampton should have called us before cancelling and given us the opportunity to pay with a different card. Could it be that since we had booked weeks in advance at a low rate... that rates had gone up due to demand for the 101st swim of the ponies that Hampton used the situation to rent out at a higher rate? we not happy.
