The front door has a sign saying "after dark, ring the bell to enter." But the side door was permanently unlocked with zip ties around the lock bar. And since it was a side door, the people entering could not be seen by the desk staff.

We were placed on the second floor of a facility that did not have an elevator. At 66 & 68 yrs.old, had to carry out luggage up a stairway to our room. No "hot" breakfast, as was advertised.

Just a one night layover. Good place to stay before finishing trip to OBX the next morning. Pool closes to early thou. Pull out sleeper sofa was alittle hard to sleep on. Nice little breakfast before taking off for rest of trip.

While it is listed as pet friendly, there is nothing to say there is an additional charge until you get to the hotel. Additionally, while I understand it’s a free breakfast with the stay, it was waffle, cereal, yogurt and apples. Additionally it says to not leave pet unattended in room so could not go eat as a family if wanted bc then pets would’ve been left unattended. Perk was I did arrive earlier than expected and given a room, on the 2nd floor which with limited accessibility to exits with a dog, was not the best choice & I was sure to ask that it was a pet friendly room. Would have expected a first floor close to exits not 2nd floor in middle of hotel.

When we arrived to the location, we were greeted but the staff who were friendly, helpful and efficient. When we got to our room, it was not what was pictured on their site. As soon as you opened the door the musty body odor smell hit you bin the face. There were chunks of thinks that looked like dried skin on the floor. The shower walls were stained and dirty. Both of the beds in the room leaned back toward the wall so you felt like your feet were elevated above your head. There were few places to eat and took a while and a bit of a drive back the way we came to find the Sage diner, which was good. For the over $250.00 a night for this stay, I would not recommend it.

4th time staying at this location, best room yet. Last stay, first floor no smoking room reeked of smoke, not good for Asthma. Could be more knowledgeable at check-in desk also, had a very long wait for man to figure out how to use software. Overall a good clean room, and still room for improvements.

We went here for a little staycation and it was lovely. The room was nice and quiet and clean and the staff went above and beyond and decorated the room for my daughters birthday free of charge. We will defiantly be staying here again!

Everything was fine, rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and staff friendly. A big disappointment was the breakfast. Cheerios, Waffles, yogurts, and apples were only options to eat.

Great place to stay! Our family typically stays at the Hampton Inn when we visit the eastern shore. This time we were looking for a more affordable option with the same comforts and the Quality Inn was exactly that and more. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were perfect for our picky kids. The property inside and out was clean and taken care of. We will definitely be staying here again and again in the future.

The shower was dirty, the beds were small and the breakfast wasn't much of anything. It was an uncomfortable stay to say the least. Wouldn't recommend.

Great hotel! The price was reasonable. The staff was wonderful! The facility was clean and well maintained. It was super convenient. Will definitely use it again next time we travel.

For the price it was ok. Rooms are very outdated and worn. Housekeeping only comes upon request. Bathroom tub had a dip in it like a hole that you could fall through. Mentioned it to staff and they were non chalant about it. Pillows are Very uncomfortable and flat like throw pillows for a sofa. Bring your own linen pillows and comforter. Mine had a stain on it. Looked like some child wiped boogers on the wall but I guess it's the best the Easyern Shore of Virginia can do. STAFF AND MANAGEMENT AT QUALITY INN AND SUITES--PLEASE UPGRADE YOUR INVESTMENT AND CLEAN THE ROOMS PROPERLY. People are traveling and wanting nice and comfortable accommodations, not run down outdated half cleaned rooms!! Travellers BEWARE❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️

Overall a good stay. The room was quiet. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were half-sized. Room was clean but smelled strongly of disinfectant, which gave my wife a headache. Went to get ice but the ice machine was out of service. We had to leave very early so we didn’t have a chance to have breakfast but that area looked well equiped and clean. It was only a stop on a bigger trip so we didn’t use the pool but it looked nice and well maintained. It was a nice stay and our main complaint was the overly strong smell of disinfectant or air freshener.

Staff was great, as was the breakfast and condition of common areas and pool. The room was dusty and dirty and smelled like it maybe used to be a smoking room. There was some strange trash hidden behind the tv. One of the lampshades had black spots along the rim that may have been mold. There was a cigarette burn in the blanket. I didnt say anything to the staff, since i was exhausted and only staying one night. I didnt feel like making a fuss. They almost certainly would have found another room or solution for me, based on the quality of service otherwise.
