They do not have a pool or hot tub. Manager said it had been down for some time and probably will not reopen. We went there because of the pool. Very disappointed.

We stayed here 3 years ago and that was the reason for our return. It was perfect. This time we didn't receive the handicapped room requested. We had to move from one room to another because the tv didn't work. The whirlpool still pictured on the website has been filled in and the water in the pool was murky. No towels there...and ants and spilled food on the floor. The snack shop was empty except for sodas. The breakfast was good and all of the staff was friendly and courteous. We are not likely to return.

Drove 10 hours looking forward to hot tub, out of service. Refrigerator stopped working with our food in it overnight. Was given $4 back and told to contact Expedia if we wanted anything else 😳

It looks as if this hotel is getting ready for a facelift and it totally needs it. There are workers who are staying here and tile and bathtubs in the parking lot and the rooms all smell like smoke. Carpet is torn up in the hallways and the elevators are torn up. They should have let people know they are in the middle of a remodel and it’s not fit for travelers to stay at this time.

The room was a bit smaller for a Spring Hill suites but still comfortable and clean, very quiet. The pool was not clean and there was a ceiling leak in the dining room that had not been repaired yet. May have been recent, the leak was still dripping. Staff was friendly and helpful

Marriott needs to either hire additional housekeepers or ones who actually do their jobs at this location. The bathroom was gross. It looked like there was dried poop on the floor, so clearly, the floor hadn't been mopped. There was visible black mold/mildew in the corner of the tub. I also had to ask for toilet tissue and hand soap. The bathroom is old and in need of updating & while I can understand Marriott may not want to invest in having it updated, it should be clean.

Very nice staff, but, checked in given room on 2nd floor. Off elevator filthy carpets and huge garbage bags of beer cans at each door. Went to our room which had not been cleaned. Got room on 3rd floor. Noticed rat and bug traps on top of refrigerator, cabinet door off hinge, black hairs on bathroom floor. Window was broken as well

BUGS! After checking into our room I noticed a roach crawling on the desk as soon as we entered. We called down to front desk and requested another room. After relocating to another room there were crumbs and food all over the flood in various areas. Disgusting. We tried calling down to the front desk to report the condition of the room but the phone was broken. We left promptly and got a full refund. Tatiyana at the front desk was amazing and helpful with the refund process. Service was great, rooms were dirty.

We had six rooms. All the rooms were dirty. One room had roaches; three rooms had ants. One room's door did not close properly. In three of the rooms, the lights did not work. The front desk staff were very nice. However, the general manager was very disrespectful and disregarded what happened. The hotel was falling apart.

Staff nice. Walked in room and could see crumbs all over, couch dirty, hair on the couch, big black feather on the bed, hair on the toilet. Ants in the bathroom.. hair in the shower. Sink dirty. Dust all over phone, microwave…. Wall dirty. Never been in a Marriott where the room stinked and was dirty

UNHYGENIC! I requested a refund for my entire stay due to blood stains on sheets, hair on my bed, unclean and disgusting bathrooms and below average breakfast options. I honestly feared for my safety and health staying 2 out of 3 nights which I booked. I checked out early as did all my friends and family who were staying there one day early due to disgustingness of the facility. The staff was understanding, and changed my room, but changing rooms rooms didn’t help! The next room was just as bad. DISGUSTED!

In your room you could NOT control the air conditioner and it would fluctuate to very low during the night in up to 100 degrees weather outside. The TV’s were old and the remotes didn’t always work and there was no WiFi code to access and the system went down for streaming apps and we were told at the front desk there was nothing they could do. I will not stay there again. It’s not worth the money I spend.

After reading a couple of reviews that said the beds are comfortable we found that they were not comfortable. The bed we had was definitely worn and clearly had a dip on one side (the side most easily accessible and so likely the side single travelers use). It was not comfortable for either of us to sleep in. And the pillows were so soft that my husband ended up with a crick in his neck each morning. It had a decent kitchen area with microwave, bar sink and small refrigerator. Despite hosting both national wheelchair basketball championship competitors and high school volleyball teams our room was quiet. The one noise problem was a constant drone from the bathroom. We made sure that our fan was off but there was still a constant drone like a fan was on all of the time.

This hotel does not offer a separate bedroom. It is referred to as a separate bedroom but there is no door and it’s one of the smallest hotel rooms I have ever been in. Everything is in one room. I would not really if traveling with teenage children.

Upon arrival for checking in I waited at the front desk b4 I was eventually greeted by a staff member. She appeared to be annoyed with an unpleasant attitude. She explained that most rooms were not available until 3pm. However, she indicated that a room on the 1st floor was available, I accepted the room. Upon entering the room the order was very smelly, the room was very cold and dark. Actually the room was a dump and the health department should close the room for occupancy. After trying to make the decision of what should I do. That when this loud noise continued to be very noticeable, I looked out the windows and discovered the heating/air was directly at the window. At this point I took my belongings and went to the front desk. I was greeted by a young man who was very professional and completely attentive to my issues. He informed me that he would exchange my room and the room would be ready in a few minutes. I was very pleased with this transaction, therefore, I asked if I could leave my luggage while I went to lunch. When I returned the keys for the room were waiting with my name. This room was in much better condition. Sorry I don’t have the names of the staff, however, I want to express my appreciation to the young man who was so helpful. During my stay all my contacts with this gentleman were positive. On the other hand the 1st young lady who assigned me to the 1st room isn’t an asset to the Springhill Suite. I arrived on Saturday @ approximately 1:15 pm.

When checking in, I was informed that the last double room was given away just minutes before my arrival. I had mindfully reserved a double room with a pull-out sofa bed because we were traveling with our teenage boys. The front desk gentleman was very polite as he informed me "there\'s nothing I can do and I can\'t give you the answer as to why this happened". We had no option but to figure out accommodations for a family of four in a king size room with a pull-out coach- which was a twin size bed. The pull-out bed had obvious stains, we had to ask for extra bedding because there was none in the room. Our room was dirty, the shade torn, stains on the tables, dusty lampshades. We were scheduled to leave in the early morning, so we made the best of it. The next day I met with Taylor who greeted me at the front desk. Taylor was extremely friendly, professional and listened attentively to my concerns. Taylor was very helpful and gave great customer service. I wouldn\'t return to this location again but would ask Management to appreciate Taylor as she is a great employee.

Check in was slow. Two female clerks talked to each other while we waited to check in. The hallways smelled like smoke. When we got into the room, only one light worked and the TV said no signal. After 2 calls to front desk they answered and said “yeah, cable is down” Not worth the money for a subpar property.

The front desk staff graciously fixed a check in mistake that was completely my fault. They were beyond professional. They were just really nice people. The breakfast attendant was an absolute gem. She was friendly, funny, and efficient. She single-handedly kept the whole thing neat and moving along while checking in with each guest.

I booked the place and paid for the room one month before my stay. When I got there, I was told they were overbooked and didn’t have any room for me. My family and I were forced to looked for another place with no help on their end. No notifications were sent before our arrival. We were very disappointed.

Nice property. Close to the highway. Nice , clean facilities. Not well lit outside - parking lot is very dark, lots of trees - in nice area but still felt a little sketchy at night.

Stayed for 4 nights for work, my room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good. the only issue was the internet but there was a storm so it was weather-related. Lots of options for food and stores.

We stayed at this hotel for one night as we were passing through the area via I-95. It was located in a convenient spot, surrounded by local shop[s and restaurants. Although the hotel itself was showing some wear and the breakfast food was mediocre, in general, this hotel was a good place to stay. In particular, the staff was very friendly, helpful and cheery.

This hotel is very convenient - right off 95. Tons of restaurants, stores, gas, etc. However this place is old, tired, and quite frankly dirty. The lobby and elevators looked like they hadn’t been mopped in weeks. The room was just ok- very musty, the sofa looked about a decade old and I wouldn’t touch it. The beds were small and uncomfortable. The room had only 1 towel and half used roll of toilet paper. There are a ton of hotels off 95. This one isn’t worth the stay.

Front desk staff is very accommodating and helpful, however the person in charge of breakfast is bit slow. Breakfast is lousy. I do not like the fact that the hotel charges $6 for a bottle of water (1 Ltr) that is daylight robbery.

Check in was quit ordinary, not very friendly, had the feeling the person checking me in was annoyed about something. Room: No mattress cover, only had a fitted sheet and mattress was covered in stains. Desk chair was broken, someone could fall off when attempting to sit on it. Carpet needed more vaccuming, as pets kept picking stuff off the floor. Breakfast was excellent.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was terrible--no plates or napkins, dinner rolls (instead of biscuits) for sausage gravy, no black tea bags, cold fried eggs. Attendant was polite and did her best but said "This isn't McDonalds!"

If you’re looking for a place with breakfast mark this one off the list! You can get better breakfast in a 3rd world country! How you have gravy and no damn biscuit! Or juice that dispenses water! And some old ass Wonder Bread ! No waffles , no sausage, no bacon. Just eggs and gravy stop it!

Everything was fine except breakfast. No plates to put food on. Only bowls. No one seemed to be accommodating as if they sent someone up to the store literally across the street to buy some. Don’t understand how literally a service industry can get that so wrong. I can’t comment whether the food was good or not other then toast because of no plates to put a waffle or danishes etc. on the plate. Let’s use 3-4 bowls to do what one plate can. Other than that the place was very satisfactory.

When we arrived, the room temperature was 86 degrees and the A/C was non functional. Waited ten minutes to see if it would kick on and it did not. Called down and they said 'soon' someone would be by. Did not want to wait long in 86 degrees and noted that we would not stick around for much longer than 5 minutes. On arrival, "anthony" walked right by and into room without a word. After changing it from wall controlled to unit controlled, walked out and while facing the other direction said it was fixed. After asking how long it would take to cool, the answer was 'seconds'. I asked how many 'seconds' and he said we should start counting. After asking for a different room, was told they were overbooked and no rooms were available. Left hotel for 2 hours and it was down to 76 degrees. Next day, went down for some juice at 9:40 (breakfast 7-10) and a woman down told us, "what are you doing?" and mentioned we would get a glass of juice. "We're closed, you can't do that." both elevators creaked so loudly and uncomfortably, you wondered if it would make it up the few floors it needed to.

We booked a room with and extra couch bed for six people and there was no extra lining in the room and when we asked they told us they didn’t have anymore. House keeping came in didn’t do anything n left my door open and we were gone that whole day. Thankfully we had all our valuable items with us. The breakfast was literally microwave sandwiches everyday. It wasn’t the worst but definitely could do better.

We were there for 3 nights for a tournament. Trash was never emptied, never received fresh towels, nothing. Price was far too much for this type of service. Best thing about the hotel is its proximity to restaurants and Henrico Sports and Event Center.
