Fantastic old fashioned 50's motel like place to stay. Very clean, great manager, comfortable bed. Highly recommend for this lovely town of Luray. Thanks VJ for helping out when we needed it!

This motel is very dated and bare bones. You can tell some attempts have been made to keep it going, such as newer floors with no carpet. The doors are a simple turn-button lock, no key cards. The bathroom was tiny and a bit cramped. The heating/cooling unit was very old and loud. The mini-fridge made a loud buzzing noise constantly. The bed was saggy and uncomfortable. There was a big wad of hair left on the shower wall. The shower was small (36") with an odd raised portion on the floor that isn't high enough to be a seat, so I'm not sure what it was for, but it meant very little room to maneuver. Other than the gross chunk of human hair in the shower, the room appeared quite clean. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. I would not stay there again.

Room was a bit dated, but everything was in immaculate shape and EXTREMELY clean. Room and bathroom were both very large in size. We had 2 queen beds which were both very comfy. Would have liked a 3rd pillow on the beds, but 2 was fine. Pillows here are like pillows most places nowadays (small and not very stuffed). Plenty of room for luggage (and then some) with generous counter space. Great location,close to downtown area. The exterior of the property was well kept and parking is plentiful. Owner was very helpful and had turned the air on before our arrival. My only trivial disappointment was that there was no in room coffee. Not a deal breaker since it was available in the office and there is also a Shell station next door with good coffee available before the office opens in the AM. Would stay again.

Extremely well run roadside motel. This is a real gem. Perfectly clean and everything operational. Staff was real nice. It's a no frills kind of place, but they have all the basics and it's nice to see a roadside motel that's run with this level of pride of ownership. I highly recommend it!
