I would not recommend them. They gave us a smoking room because we needed a room on the Ground floor. The carpet was sticky. Rusty light fixtures The swimming pool water was green. They had a fire extinguisher outside that had a birds nest built around it and it was expired. I wish there was a esy to post pictures

No TV as the box was broken and not fixed and the remote had been stolen and not replaced. And this was Superball Sunday! However, we watched on the large screen in your restaurant. The restaurant was excellent. And the staff, Janet and Haley, tried very hard to fix things.

The pool was green with a couple broken chairs around it. The shower was dirty and the faucet had splatter left from the previous guest. The in room coffee make was growing mold. We had low expectations but come on… at least wipe things down!

What made us laugh was the bed. You sat upon it, and it made a deep groan from the metal base. Hysterical! At the price point of the hotel, not surprising. The hotel is a great place to rest your head for an evening, and has a decent restaurant on premises. But the pool was not kept up as good as it could be, it needed cleaning. The room furniture had wear and tear, but was serviceable. Overall, acceptable for an overnight stay.

I only gave two stars because the staff issued a refund quickly. Not that the lady was super nice the night we checked in. She seemed like she hated her job. We didn’t care it was a motel. We were tired. We weren’t expecting the ritz. We expected certain standards. But what we did NOT expect was to be punched in the face with a MASSIVE stench of dog urine. That’s the only way I can describe it. It was so bad. I almost threw up. When we went back to the front and told her we couldn’t stay here and why, it’s almost like she knew the rooms were bad.

Virginia Quality Inn Reservation #: 37810602 2/8/24-2/11/24 My stay and its conditions were deplorable. I am requesting a full refund. The first room given (room 108) was filthy, had a large roach crawling on the wall, had a dead roach in one of the refrigerator compartments, the phone was dead and did not work. I called the front desk and was told by the clerk he found that hard to believe and I told him I had pictures. The clerk changed my room to room 120 the conditions of that room were also dirty and raggedy, the toilet seat was filthy, I know this because I cleaned it with the wet wipe and it came clean (have before and after photos), the walls were filthy, the ironing board cover was filthy, The chair cushion was filthy and the shower head was not properly connected to the wall. I was told I would be getting a handicapped room as I am a senior service-connected disabled veteran, the room was not handicapped and stepping into the tub to shower pose a potential fall risk. This horrible stay aggravated my anxiety, I didn’t sleep well and after seeing those roaches I was not able to eat the food there that was provided free of charge or sold. The staff are friendly and helpful unfortunately the rooms have a large amount of mold that can be smelled as soon as the door opens. This was unhealthy and unlivable. I’ve stayed in some bad hotels before but never have I had to sleep with a washcloth over my nose. I tried to tough it out one night and woke up at 130am to book a new place. I ate the cost of my hotel and had to go up the street to another hotel. I can’t believe that this place is able to be a choice hotel or a quality inn or even open without some sort of health violation. The people were very nice but I’m sorry this is so unhealthy to stay in.

Very outdated, unclean room. There was a sizeable gap under the door that was letting in air and who knows what else, the bed was uncomfortable. We found a large bug in the bathroom. Paint is peeling off the door. We will not book this property again.

Definitely not worth the price! Carpet old, worn and dirty. Shower/tub backed up while using. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Felt like we were going to roll out of the bed. When getting out of the bed, the bed would pop like it was going to break. Just a place to lay our heads. We will not stay there again.

The amenities were rusty and broken. The lamps were rusty. The bed frame was very old and made noise when you moved the exterior stairways are full of cobwebs and there are marks and chains in the walls in the bathroom and the showers.

The beds felt like they were lumpy concrete that made noise every time you got in and out of it. The toilet was broken and felt like it was going to fall apart whenever I got off of it.

We booked the room last minute but room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The tub was cracked so when you showered you had to stand at the very back of the tub. Overall needed a huge update.

I really enjoyed my first time staying at Quality Inn. I have no complaints. Will definitely stay here again. Front Desk (Mandy and Janet) Very friendly and helpful. I have been staying at the Quality Inn in South Boston Virginia for approximately four weeks now and will continue staying with him with them until my business project is complete. The staff and management at the Quality Inn in South Boston Virginia are excellent! The rooms are well taken care of and clean,You can have Hot coffee anytime you want it, In the lobby area And enjoy an and enjoy a hot breakfast with lots of choices every morning. The staff and management are all very friendly making me feel like family! I would definitely recommend the Quality Inn In South Boston to Virginia to all my family and friends!😊

Location was great. Bath room extremely small Didn’t have towels and wash cloth had to call front desk and go get them, did not look clean real dingy and hard, second day still not enough towels and wash cloths still dingy look not clean and no toilet paper in bathroom. House keeping not very good.

It was a horrible room. The draft from the front door was so terrible that thanks to the housekeeping staff they provided me with extra towels that I could put not only on the floor for the cold draft but I also had to use a towel to place between the door frame and the door to minimize the frigid cold air draft. BTW the accompanying restaurant where I ate. I've experienced better high school cafeteria meals. Oh, and don't be fooled by the false advertising of the continental breakfasts. I stayed Friday and Saturday. I didn't exercise my right to breakfast on Saturday but I was informed that there was no breakfast on Sundays even though they advertise this on their website and even in their breakfast room in the hotel. Not to mention a very poor attitude when I brought this to their attention. Caveat emptor. Buyer beware. Highly not recommended.

No TV as the box was broken and not fixed and the remote had been stolen and not replaced. And this was Superball Sunday! However, we watched on the large screen in your restaurant. The restaurant was excellent. And the staff, Janet and Haley, tried very hard to fix things.

My room was very clean and the service desk was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious! The refrigerator was clean, but had a lot of ice in the frozen section, needed defrosting.

found a good amount of trash in the room within the first few minutes to show they didnt clean that well. we loved the restaurant attached, had a great night there! the beds were comfy and breakfast was okay.

It was ok. Beds we're comfortable. The bathroom was really small. The people were nice. The breakfast lady was sweet. Biscuits and gravy was a nice change and the waffles were fantastic.

The hotel is in need of a complete renovation! Although the room seemed clean, it was difficult getting past the recliner that was broken, drapes extremely worn, outdated and pull to open and close was broken. The breakfast options pitiful in that there didn't seem to be enough of a spread to feed all that were staying there. Several people complained and felt same. There were some positives such as: Friendly and helpful staff and that the hotel was located in a safe, nice and convenient area.

My room smelled,the towels were stained,there were holes in the wall where the outlet should be covered, the tub was dirty looking, and there was an odor coming from the ac and heater which made us cough.I talked to the manager about a refund but had no luck there filed a complaint with choice hotels as well Traveled 250 miles to see a show couldn't get another hotel in such short notice it was a horrible experience

There is nothing quality about this inn. It is dirty, smelly, and overall in disrepair. From the two rooms I had the unfortunate experience of going into, they were both “nonsmoking” but wreaked of smoke. One of the beds had cigarette burn holes in the sheets. The first room’s door frame was damaged and the door didn’t shut flush making the lock questionable. We did not stay, we just left, unable to get a refund for the filthy accommodations. I do not recommended this property.
