The staff was friendly and super nice. The motel does need some updates though. The beds were advertised as two king sized beds and they were fulls at best and hard as a rock. We did find baby roaches in the bathroom and it could have been cleaner but it was alright. Not the end of the world for as cheap as it was to stay there. The only thing I was super salty about was that the pool didn’t open until the day we left.

Got this hotel because it offered a pool and breakfast. Pool was no open and the breakfast only consisted of cereal, white bread and yogurt even though they advertised waffles. The cereal had watered down milk, it was almost clear. The air conditioner was loud and went on amd off every 5 minutes. There were nails popping through the rug when you walked into the bathroom area of which the flooring was so rotted it bounced when you walked on it. I was terrified when my husband passed me to go to the bathroom when i was at the sink because it had the feeling of a moving elevator. Im am sickened that i spent as much as i did on that room but was stuck with it.

We did not actually stay here, as soon as we walked into the room there were live roaches, dead roaches behind the fridge, in the bathroom and behind the dresser. The "manager" came and looked through the room said he didnt see anything when he plainly did and then he just disappeared. We did get a full refund on the spot with a little bit of attitude but they were not very friendly about it.

Look like they never vacuum the room near bed , by night stand was durty. Smells humid. I will not stay there again. They don’t change towels the last guess leave something on top of the towels in the bathroom and I found it .

Staff aren’t friendly. Bathroom & vanity area floors were dirty, unswept or mopped. Problem with drains not draining. Tub filled with water while taking a shower & toilet didn’t flush properly. The King bed was clean, nice sheets & pillows, very comfortable. One night stay and sleep was needed so I got what I paid for.

Checked in and the room not cleaned throughly. The mini fridge hadn’t been cleaned as hair and old stains were inside. The bathroom had a dead spider beside the toilet and the toilet itself was nasty urine stains all around the bottom and dirt on the sides. I definitely won’t stay here again.

Where to start? The floors were uneven and cracked. On whole side of the room none of the outlets worked. They charge you $5 for the room key (which you get back when you return it but really?) The toilet handle was broke. The towels were the size of large rags and they give you 2 of them. The door was also broke and the lock was half screwed in so thank god no one decided to try to break it because it wouldn’t have been hard! Oh and also the staff was so rude! At check in the lady said we could get a late check out til 12 just call in the morning but the paper I initialed said 2 then when I called in the morning to ask the guy said they don’t do that in the summer. That part I understand but no need to be so rude about it.

Not a bad hotel. Check in was easy and the room was comfortable. Very close to restaurants. Quiet, although in a busy area. The breakfast was not impressive and can certainly be improved. Also, the room has some structural issues that should be looked at. Parts of the floor seemed like they may give way soon. Overall, a decent visit.

This place is severely outdated. I booked a king NON-smoking room and was put into a smoking room that smelled horrific. The hotel would not move us to another room. To make it worse, the toilet was messed up and wouldn't flush right. Again, still wouldn't move us to another room. We tried looking into other hotels in that area but they were full due to all the events in the area, last weekend. We were pretty much stuck there for the weekend. We will not stay in another Days Inn, again, after this one!

The service was good, but it ends there. I reserved a non smoking room and when I opened the door it reeked of stale smoke. There were cigarette burn holes in the bedding. I went to the front desk and she apologized but couldn’t move us to a different room because they were booked full. We had to go and buy air fresheners and I had to sleep with a blanket over my face. The furniture was extremely old and worn. The shower curtain had black mold on it and the light fixture over the sink was missing the casing- the bulbs were exposed. The staff was friendly, but the room disgusting. $139.00 a night. I considered sleeping in my car.

Looked seedy and rundown. Our room wasn't bad, but the toilet took a long time to flush and required more than one on occasion. Also, the shower curtain was torn at the gromet nearest the wall and kept sliding down. And one of the towels in the room had zero nap left. We did receive 2 better towels the next day.

It’s very old and needs updating. All 3 rooms had a bad moldy odor. The shower handle came off and the water couldn’t be turned off for a while until the handle could be screwed back on. The bedding was cheap and felt damp.

Arrived early but could not check in until 3pm even though there were very few cars. When I finally was able to check in the desk person told me the room was behind the office, but it was not directly behind the office it was across the driveway. Communication was not clear. There was no plug for the bathtub so could not take a bath. Had to take a shower but there was no shower matt, so I was afraid to slip on the bathtub, not a good shower experience! There were very few room amities, only a small bar of soap to bath, no shower gel, and only one shampoo/conditioner tub. Breakfast was not a breakfast! It only consisted of cereal, banana, milk, juice, white bread, and coffee/tea. I do not consider that breakfast! I paid $208.99 dollars for a Wyndham hotel, instead it was a Days Inn hotel who has a filiation with Wyndham. I registered for the hotel because of Wyndham brand. I would expected better accommodations for a Wyndham hotel! I should have registered at the Hyatt Hotel at least I know they would have had a true breakfast, a matt for the shower, a plug stopper for the tub, shower gel for bathing, etc. I will never stay at a Days Inn and will be very, very careful in booking with Wyndham in the future!

The clerk that check us in was verry friendly the one that replaces him was rude and verry unfriendly the remote control for the tv did not have batteries so my daugther asked him put some in and he got mad rolled his eyes and whent to get ones we felt like we were bothering him .we will never stay there again

The property is very dated. The advertised breakfast consisted of bread slices with butter, coffee, and a few yogurts in a refrigerator. As we stayed at this property for 6 nights, we watched the daily turnstile of people, who walked out of the lobby, disgusted at the lack of breakfast options. We also had trouble getting someone to come to the window to check us in for a late arrival. We rang and rang the bell and after more than 15 minutes, the guy finally came into the office. We did call earlier in the day to remind staff of our late arrival, but they did not receive the updated message. There was no daily towel or room refreshing. We had to ask daily for clean towels. The bathroom with tub, didn't have a stopper. When I asked for one at the office, I was told that they didn't have any. I purchased one at Walmart. The love seat in the room had multiple stains on it. There were only two redeeming features to this hotel: the room was large, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was overpriced and understaffed. Staff openly complained in front of customers about Wyndam's misleading advertising regarding breakfast (or lack thereof) as they were the ones who kept dealing with irate customers. This property is really a poor reflection on the Wyndam name.

The night clerk was rude and indignant when I arrived after traveling for 28 hours straight. The floor of the bathroom in 238 was soft, like I could have fallen through it and the door felt unstable. The day shift clerk was much more accommodating and aided my wife and me in obtaining a taxi by allowing us to use the hotel phone.

Me and my family stayed for 3 days and 2 nights but I wanted to leave right after we checked in. 😢 There was bugs and spiders everywhere we looked. I only gave 3 stars for only one of the staff members because she was the only nice one. When we first checked in we stood in the lobby for 25 minutes knocking on the doors and ringing the doorbell. We were trying to get his attention (he was bald headed btw) because he was knocked out sleeping on the couch in the sitting area 😤. Then he overcharged me but even though he did that I told (the only nice lady in there) the next day and she refunded my money. When we checked in it was so many people just standing outside their doors drinking and smoking and looking so creepy. In the room it was spider webs everywhere with big azz spiders in them. We got them away from the bed areas and left the others alone in the corners. The bed was so uncomfortable. The room was just all over terrible. We couldn’t take it no more so we booked somewhere else to spend the 4th of July more peacefully. The other hotel we got was theeeee best. I wouldn’t recommend staying here with your family especially if you have small children. Only the brave should stay here if you not scared of bugs, people being obnoxious and loud, things that don’t work in the room, not spacious, NOT SAFE! I’m telling you!

Misrepresented as “Town Center.” While the actual Town Center was in a distant view, this property is next to several abandoned properties in a less than ideal part of the neighborhood. Upon pulling in to the lot, we determined that this hotel is in fact a party location—people coming and going at all hours and it reeks of marijuana smoke. Steer clear!

The check in was very nice and he let me in early. It was basically clean, but the toilet was dirty. I took a picture and showed the front desk on the last day. I cleaned the toilet myself. Other than that is is in a great location and has a pool. Close to Wendy’s, McDonald’s, beach, and the interstate. Simple breakfast cereal, coffee, and yogurts.

No-frills budget friendly hotel. Staff was nice. Room was clean but not perfect. Location and price was right for my needs which were more inland with a quick excursion to the beach. Virginia beach is huge, so do your research. If you are not overly into the beach and need an affordable option centrally located this is a viable and acceptable option.

Asked for guaranteed late check-in when i made my reservation. Clerk was very grumpy when we checked in. Made it clear that he didn't want to be helping us late at night (~1130 PM). Motel site claimed free breakfast. When we got up the next morning and when down for breakfast, all they had was stale white bread. NO cold cereal, NO pastries, NO yogurt, NO food of any kind. That is NOT free breakfast. Extremely disappointed as we then had to go out and eat breakfast. Same all 3 days. Literally just white bread. Very much false advertising. I would not recommend staying here for those reasons.

I would not say that they have free breakfast -- first day that have bread to toast, cereal and yogurt with milk -- second day bread to toast, no yogurt, milk and bananas; You have to go to the desk and ask for clean towels.

This place needs an overall update. The pictures were very inaccurate. The room had a musty smell, the sink dripped & it just felt gross. Even though the toilet had the sanitary tape, there was brown remnants on the toilet seat. There were black smudges on the hand towel and on a few of the pillows. If I had not brought my own sheet to throw on top, I would have slept in my car. And the ‘continental’ breakfast was a poor excuse that I did not touch. It was four activia yogurts in a mini fridge and about half a loaf of white bread. There were two cereal options in large containers with a pitcher of milk that I dare not touched.

Check in was smooth and for the most part the room and common areas were clean - the exception was that we found a take-out container from a previous guest in the refrigerator in our room. Breakfast was a disappointment - there were a few pieces of bread and a toaster (butter pats, no jellies or other spreads) and 5-6 small containers of yogurt. Won't return

Breakfast was horrible, just coffee and cheap white bread and cereal available, non smoking rooms with tabaco smell, refrigerator no working properly, microwave disgusting, bathroom with dark spots, bathtub dirty. Overall the place is in a good location but unsecured. I had to wait 45 mints because the system was down. I called the front desk for a different room, the second one the same condition. I was hurry and I wasn’t able to have another place

Cockroaches were in bathroom , then I found them on my clothes. The place had old white bread and coffee for continental breakfast. No milk. No fruit. No Juice. Absolutely the worst hotel breakfast ever. They also did not have regular coffee in the room to make ourselves. They said it has been on back order. I would never stay there again.

The room looked great when we first walked in. However the shower was so slow you had to run around to get wet . The light over the wash basin was far too dim. Breakfast was a joke, a few pieces of white sliced bread was all that was in the bread cabinet. One single yogurt in the fridge. Cornflakes or fruit loops and that was it. We won't be going back there again.

I was in town for the weekend , my grand daughter was playing softball for PG All state. The room was dirty, the ice machine was broken , mind you the temp was upper 90s. Room service didn't clean my room, it was like pulling teeth to get clean towels . There was a roach bug in the bathroom. The worst place I've ever stayed in my life.

Probably the worst stay I've ever had. The room was in poor condition with crumbling walls and dirty furniture. Some of the furniture was broken. The phone didn't work. There were cigarette burns in one of the covers. The covers were paper thin. There were bugs all in the room including a spider. I woke up with new aggressive bug bites daily. They were trying to charge extra for basic room amenities. The other guests were constantly outside smoking so the room reeked of cigarette smoke. The room looked nothing like the pictures advertised. We had to wipe down all the hard surfaces because the room was just nasty. That lodging was definitely not worth the amount charged. It was not a comfort to be there at all.

I stayed for 2 nights for a work trip. The room wasn't clean. There was mold in the bathroom and what looked like nail polish on the blanket. I had to leave early in the morning for work so I asked the front desk for 2 washcloths. He said I need to wait for house keeping to bring them by my room I explained I have to leave for work he said he will get some and come back in the evening. I come back in the evening. There is a different guy at the front desk. I ask for the washcloths he told me I can't make house keeping requests after 5pm. I explained what I was told that morning. He was really rude and told me I can make requests after 5pm. Went to check out in the morning the girl at the front desk was rude too. I wish I could give this place zero stars. Staff is rude, everything looks run down and the rooms are dirty.

Beware pictures don't match the facility. When we asked for a refund after going to our room to see how bad it was. He said it has to go through the 3rd party which was a lie. This location doesn't like to take care of its guest. This took 2 hours and we still didn't get a full refund.. beware
