Fantastic for this regular swimmer to have these lap pools on the property. The place is a bit long in the tooth (worn) but for the price it was a great deal.

We didn’t even make it through the night. Going in the door was jammed and hard to open. Once we got it open the smell of cigarette smoke was overpowering. The rooms were not kept clean and the room was in need of repair, cracks and holes in the plaster, unfinished paint, the smell in the stairways reminded us of a barn. We tried going to the pool and were limited to one pool with 3 lanes due to having a child with us. There was no splashing or playing in the pool allowed and the staff wouldn’t let us remain near the edge of the pool because the ‘deck’ had many chips and breaks in the brick that were a safety hazard.

My kids and I come to this motel several times a year and stay usually between 2-5 nights. We love to stay on the grassy area side because in the morning the kids go outside and ride their scooters around or play on the lawn. The pool, that is free for guests to use, is an added benefit for us all. I also love the large rooms with two large tables. We can eat our meals together and we can spread out our food that we bring and the kids’ books and all our stuff. The negatives are: the pillows are flat and hard. The dining table has a rippled top in all the rooms that we stayed in. The dispensers in the bathroom are not wiped clean. And in one of the room that we stayed in, the curtain rod was broken and hanging down. The carpets are old and even burned by iron in room 114. They have done lots of remodeling but the inside of the rooms could be better maintained. All in all, we love coming here. It’s quick to the freeway, grocery store is across the street, it’s quick to get to Brattleboro center, and all in all just a spacious place to spend a few days in.

If you’re planning a trip to Brattleboro, review what you’re getting for the cost. The pool isn’t owned by the motel and has unusual hours with a check in process that is very uncomfortable. The carpet in our room wasn’t vacuumed, the hair products were cheap hand soaps (in a brand-name- refillable containers) there wasn’t a “spa”, and the mattresses were very uncomfortable. For the price, we could have stayed up the street at a much better place. Also, there isn’t any taxi or Uber service in the area so plan accordingly.

The room was filthy. Dead bugs on the windowsill, live bugs flying around. The sheets were like paper towels. The air conditioner made noise like a motorcycle. And the breakfast that was included was pathetic. Toaster that didn't work, an entre platter that was basically empty and was never refilled. Find somewhere else to stay.

This property looked like they used a filter when they took a picture. I drove right past it. I almost booked another motel after I got there. I did not look or feel clean at all. Musty smell.

Common areas smelled badly. Tv malfunctioned and wouldn’t work for more than a minute. Hair dryer was broken. Walls were dinged and damaged. Toilet barely flushed. Everything was generally unkept. Wires hanging down. Even the price seems expensive for what I got.

The room and pool are outdated. One bed was little broken. The AC/ heat unit cover fell off. For four nightly rate, it was fine to meet our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The place had a lot of room and the soap in the shower and bathtub was nice. It's just that the TV kept going out. I think the HDMI box got too hot maybe. Couldn't watch the baseball game.

The hotel staff was very nice. Check in was a breeze. The motel needs some updating. The rooms were clean and spacious but very outdated. Curtains were blackout curtains. Need additional sheer curtains on windows to provide privacy but let in light to brighten rooms. Pools were nice

The staff was cordial and moved our room upon request, as I had an older guest. The room was clean. The pics you see on the site are places you won't normally access at the hotel. The restaurant is different and we didn't eat there. Folks we met on site did not review it well. Our room was musty, the beds were hard and our toilet repeatedly wouldn't flush. The TV was difficult to work without instruction and the toiletries in the shower were very high to reach. I hasn't stayed in a motel in a while, so this may be normal but you could hear every car and motorcycle that drove in. Overall, you could hear the upstairs guests as well. It is located in a handy location halfway between 91 and downtown and across the street from Hannafords.

I informed the morning desk staff of not being able to shower. I had no hot water. I left my name and phone number 3 separate time, with three difference staff members. NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK . WHAT KIND OF A BUSINESS DOESN’T RESPOND TO A REQUEST TO PROVIDE a call to resolve the problem. UNACCEPTABLE customer service! No mattef what the issue, I should not be charged full price when I could not take a shower. Absolutely a poorly managed property

Check in took forever,there was two other people who had been waiting for someone to show up at the desk to check in also close to 20minutes standing there.The room was ok getting ready to check out did a check to make sure we had everything and found a spoon under the edge of bed which was burnt on the bottom took it to show the front desk didn’t seem to bother them

I arrived after 8pm on a Monday night, I attempted to check out at shortly after 6 am, 10 hours later but despite sharing that I was a traveler, I was charged $124 for that brief time. This is a bit much for a meh of a place, where attempting to check in as well as out, I was told that I had to wait.

My room was almost driving distance from the front desk. When my door card didn't work and I drove to the office lol no one was there - for a long time!! When I finally connected with the front desk they informed my card didn't work because I supposed to check-out!! They made a mistake and had me checking out a day early!!! Just a, sorry and that was that!!! The room was dated but large.

We had called more than a day in advance to say that we were having a late check-in. When we got to the Colonial at 12 midnight the place was all locked up, nobody in the front office area--all lights off. We called from in front of the facility, but could only leave a message. Had no recourse but to drive another four hours directly at home. We hope we get some form of reimbursement. It caused us to have a very late night and early morning.

It was perfect for our family of 4. The beds are ok, BUT room was very large! Our units AC worked well! The grocery store was right across the street. Breakfast was good. This does fall in the Motel status and NOT high class yes could use updating but it was perfect for our needs! Madam Sherri's Forest is just a few mins away!

It was perfect for our family of 4. The beds are ok, BUT room was very large! Our units AC worked well! The grocery store was right across the street. Breakfast was good. This does fall in the Motel status and NOT high class yes could use updating but it was perfect for our needs! Madam Sherri's Forest is just a few mins away!

Couldn't understand the staff. The refrigerator and hair dryer didn't work. The room had a weird odor. The wall unit for air conditioning and heat made a weird noise. The people next to us were slamming doors. The outside of the place looked old and run down. The location was sketchy. Homeless people standing on the street begging for money. We would never stay there again.Mostly fast food places to eat by the Motel. I uninstalled your app. We were very disappointed.

Conveniently located and clean. The staff was friendly. Parking was abundant. We stayed with our dog, and the grounds were well-lit, clean, and grassy for walks. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

Clean quiet huge room,,,would prefer 1st floor w/pet Friendly front desk. Continental "breakfast" was minimal, but coffee was good. Didn't use the indoor pool (!) or restaurant lounge, but both looked inviting ..maybe next time. Shopping and some other restaurants just a quick walk away

An older traditional motel but taken care of well. The rooms are extra large and decor is pleasant. the motel appears to be on a busy route but the rooms are well off the road and it is quiet. Lots of grassy safe areas for children and pets. The absolute best thing is the spa and gym access. 2 heated indoor salt water pools, a very good jetted hot tub, sauna in locker rooms, and a small gym with all the basics.

Nice stay, good value. Room was large and clean. Comfortable bed and furniture, nice big TV. The pool and spa were FANTASTIC and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast was very lacking, but the location is good you can go get something else. Don't choose for the free breakfast! But the motel was well maintained and check in and out was easy. Great location!

Room was big & clean; furnishings were modest. Refrigerator, coffee maker, & microwave were useful. Pool & spa were excellent. Hot coffee in office was nice. Hot weekend breakfast was very modest, and much of it cold by 9:30am. Office frequently unstaffed, with a phone number to contact them; response was sometimes slow.

Ice machines were broken. Breakfast was not ready by 6:30am. This is way too late. Only cerial, packaged muffins, and yogurt. No hot food, bread or bagels as promised .

Spacious room, bed was comfortable to sleep with appliances like microwave and refrigerator. Enough parking spaces and best part that it was quiet and had an Indian restaurant in their facility. The food at Masala House was delicious and will highly recommend.

I have been staying there over the years since teenager with my family. I do love that area, however it has changed quit a bit, random garbage outside and overall it is old and in need of updating. Use of pool is nice but also needs updating as well. The bed was comfortable and shower hot, internet access fine. Breakfast is basic fruit, cereal and coffee, toast. We were told they have bacon and sausage on weekends only. There is overall a different vibe there now.

I use this motel and spa a few times each year, usually as a stop driving north to ski from CT. I have brought my sons, my wife, and often a friend. The Indian restaurant, with homemade dishes, is lovely -- and has terrific local beers to go with dinner. While the motel seems to be recovering from the economic toll of the pandemic, there is a great deal to commend it, and the price is extremely fair.

Rooms with double queens are quite spacious. We were 2 couples and had sufficient room to play cards and visit. I've stayed here before and like the room size. There were not enough towels and we ran out of toilet paper; no soap, no shampoo. Breakfast was underwhelming, we went early, but they'd already run out of eggs, sausage & coffee.

Really good value for money. Clean room, very comfortable bed. Parking right outside the room. Check in quick and pleasant. The bonus was the excellent Indian restaurant attached to the hotel - a bar and restaurant combined with no pressure to have a meal if you just wanted a drink. I did eat there and the food was fabulous - not the largest menu but I would rather have the quality than a huge number of choices. It was quality that I got - not the cheapest but, again, you pay for good stuff. I would definitely return.

When booking I saw the first thing about the place was the pool. Got there “no pool “closed till further notice sign says. Ask them about it said it was previous owners photo and that they had nothing to do with that. it was the web sites issue. I stayed long enough to find out that there’s was no pool maybe an hour and left. I wanted a refund. They refused. No where did it say pool closed on the app in Hotel.com. You should remove them from the listing or update it to No pool period. Rooms are not that clean pretty dingy and poorly lit

This is a very tired motel. The sign says grand opening, but apparently their grand opening is sometime in the future! Tattered carpets, old drapery, no landscaping to speak of, the lounge area was filled with boxes. The check-in area needed a massive update. Breakfast seemed to have been an afterthought. I have to say that the bed was clean and very comfortable. That being said, unless major renovation is done we wouldn’t consider staying there again.

The room was clean. Trying to find electric sockets behind the head of bed was difficult but doable, barely. Sometimes the toilet required a few attempts for complete emptying. Beds were clean and comfortable. No breakfast was served, as such, but there were a few munchies. I believe this motel had just been puchased, and there were signs of ongoing renovations that probably will result in much higher ratings in a month.
